"Waaah..."
Upon hearing the voice, Xu Le remembered that the snake spirit was still researching magic and didn't have time to answer him, so he asked again, "If you know weapon crafting, say 'um,' if you don't, say 'ooh.'"
"Uh-huh……"
Xu Le was overjoyed. Among the treasures he had obtained, the fewest books were about alchemy and weapon crafting. If he were to obtain a large number of rare and precious materials in the future, he would be left with nothing but regret. However, if he learned alchemy and weapon crafting, it would be different. He could make good use of the medicinal materials and avoid waste.
The snake spirit's alchemy skills came from her clan, which used to be a powerful clan. The alchemy and weapon-making techniques she taught were definitely not commonplace.
After a while, the snake spirit slowly got up, glared at Xu Le with hatred, and took out several books made of animal hide from her storage pouch, handing them to Xu Le. 11
Xu Le took the book. The text on it was pictographic, a bunch of strange characters crammed together, and he couldn't understand what it was saying. Xu Le had a headache, but when he thought of the snake spirit beside him, he had a bold idea.
Xu Le is a very upright person. He felt that sometimes other car owners did not take good care of their cars, so as a good person, he took the initiative to take on the task of maintaining the vehicles.
For example, repairing the headlights or the chassis; it's just that the engine is a bit noisy after starting, but that's forgivable...
However, after Xu Le started driving, he found that the car was becoming more and more easy to handle. It wasn't because his driving skills had improved, but because the luxury car began to cooperate with his driving. It would turn when he wanted to turn, and it would automatically turn on its headlights without him having to say anything.
Although the snake spirit was quite beautiful, she wasn't so beautiful that Xu Le was obsessed with her. While enjoying himself, Xu Le's divine sense repeatedly scanned the remaining seven-colored divine light in the snake spirit's body, which was like dust. Although it was a little less, even a small mosquito is still meat, and he used it to slowly repair the damaged foundation of his Dao.
While absorbing the Seven-Colored Divine Light, several tiny rhomboid fragments suddenly appeared deep within the snake spirit's soul and flowed into Xu Le's body upon physical contact.
"What is the meaning of this Dan Song? And how is this technique used..."
Xu Le asked questions eagerly, and the snake spirit explained them one by one. However, the learning process was too tiring. After an hour, Xu Le tidied his clothes, turned around and left, leaving the snake spirit lying on the ground, drenched in sweat.
After a long while, the snake spirit transformed back into a monster from her teacher persona. She felt a pang of nostalgia for being a teacher, then realized how foolish her thoughts had been. She muttered a few curses at Xu Le, cleaned up the scene, and quietly left.
……
Outside the cave, two toad spirits had just finished a feast. One of the green toad spirits yawned, looked at his sleeping companion, and felt his eyelids sink as if they were filled with lead. He couldn't help but droop and then slowly closed his eyes.
"Whoosh whoosh whoosh..."
The toad spirit's snoring sounded, and at that moment, a yellowish-brown pangolin poked its head out from behind a rock. Seeing that the gatekeeper monsters were asleep, it breathed a sigh of relief.
The pangolin carried a seven-colored lotus seedpod on its back. After looking around and finding no other monsters, it carefully began to dig a hole. Every movement was done stealthily. It started digging from behind the stone outside the door and took more than ten minutes to reach the cave from underground.
Snap!
A pit appeared inside the cave. The pangolin dug through the soil and emerged from it, tightly clutching the seven-colored lotus pod in its hands. Following the cave layout given by the mountain god, it headed towards the secret chamber where the prisoners were held.
Although he encountered several patrolling monsters along the way, he managed to evade them all, and after many hardships, he finally arrived at the secret chamber.
Through the iron bars, the pangolin saw an old man inside, bound like a rice dumpling with rope. The old man had his eyes closed and was breathing calmly, seemingly asleep.
The pangolin continued digging, crawling under the iron fence, but found itself encountering an invisible barrier.
The invisible barrier rippled slightly, radiating a message that reached Xu Le, who was digesting the knowledge.
The pangolin came to the old man, nudged his body with its short, thin forelimbs, and whispered, "Old man, old man, wake up!"
"Who?" The old man slowly opened his eyes, and breathed a sigh of relief when he saw it was a pangolin. He asked in confusion, "What are you doing here? Were you also captured by a monster?"
The pangolin shook its head, indicating that it had not been captured. After untying the thick hemp ropes binding the old man, the pangolin handed the seven-colored lotus pod it had been carrying on its back to the old man and continued to explain, "Old man, I received a commission from the mountain god. Now all seven Calabash Brothers have been captured by the monsters. Once the monsters refine them into the Seven Star Pill, then the human world will surely be plunged into chaos."
Upon hearing that several children had been arrested, the old man collapsed to the ground, sighing, "What are we going to do?"
A hint of disdain flashed in the pangolin's eyes, but then it put on an innocent look, helped the old man up from the ground, and advised, "Old man, don't worry. As long as the seven gourd brothers connect their hearts with the lotus pods, their power will be enough to destroy these three demons, and then peace will be restored to the human world!"
"Lotus pods, what's the connection between lotus pods and gourds?" The old man wondered, but considering the current critical situation, he swallowed his question and didn't ask the pangolin.
Afterwards, the pangolin told the old man how to use the seven-colored lotus and the mountain god's plan, and then instructed him to wait patiently for the right time to come.
He crawled out through the hole, and carefully covered the hole with mud to prevent the monsters from noticing anything amiss.
The pangolin quietly left along the path it had come from, and no monster discovered it until it left the cave.
The pangolin looked at the terrifying and gloomy cave and sneered. Just as it was about to leave, it suddenly bumped into something, and an invisible force suppressed it.

"Who is it! Put me down right now!"
The pangolin struggled incessantly, its forelimbs, capable of splitting rocks and splitting mountains, constantly turning, trying to break free of control.
Whoosh whoosh!
Suddenly, an invisible force lifted it up and sent it flying into the sky, startling the pangolin so much that it screamed incessantly in mid-air, "Aaaaaah..."
The little demon guarding the cave was awakened by the noise. He looked around but found nothing unusual. He nudged his sleeping companion and asked, "Did you hear any strange noises?"
My companion opened his sleepy eyes and replied with dissatisfaction, "You must have misheard me. I'm exhausted, don't disturb my sleep!"
The little monster thought it was just a hallucination caused by its exhaustion, yawned, and leaned against the stone door to continue sleeping.
The pangolin thrashed about in the air, trying to break free of its restraints, but to no avail. It could only watch as it passed through the forest, stream, and over a mountain before finally arriving at the outside of a stone cave.
The pangolin's body slowly descended, but the invisible restraints remained, so it could only stare wide-eyed at the cave entrance.
