Apartamento 602 devorador de hombres - Capítulo 10
After Wenshan finished taking his medicine, Lu Kang walked to the door, placed one hand on the light switch, and looked at Wenshan with a serious expression, asking, "Are you ready?"
Wenshan looked at him, took a deep breath, and then nodded slightly.
Lu Kang felt his body begin to heat up. He took a deep breath, turned on the light switch, and then hurried back to his room, closing and locking the door.
The living room suddenly darkened, and the faint candlelight behind the white cloth flickered, casting ghostly shadows on the walls. Wenshan closed his eyes, silently counting the cute little sheep in his mind, waiting for sleep to come.
Slowly, Wenshan's senses began to blur, and his body swayed slightly. He seemed to see that empty passage appear before him again, but he didn't step onto it. The passage was far away, like a giant black hole, and a powerful force within it was trying to pull him in.
A thin layer of sweat had formed on Lu Kang's forehead. His eyes were fixed intently on the monitor, and his ears were straining to catch any sound through his earplugs. Wen Shan, under the influence of the medication, should have already entered the initial stages of sleep; Lu Kang saw Wen Shan's body swaying slowly.
It's time to begin!
Lu Kang's hands trembled slightly. He steadied himself, firmly gripped the knob on the electrotherapy device, and slowly, very gently turned it.
Wenshan felt he had entered the passage, and his feet seemed ready to move. As usual, he took a step and walked and walked. Suddenly, he felt a surge of heat envelop his head, the heat like invisible needles piercing through every pore of his skin. Wenshan's scalp tightened, tightening further, as if trying to resist the invading heat. As the resistance intensified, Wenshan felt the heat rushing through his entire body, like mercury spilling onto the floor, instantly filling every cell. At that moment, he abruptly opened his eyes—
Sweat had gathered on Lu Kang's face, forming beads that occasionally fell to the ground due to the weight. His eyes never left the monitor; his focus was on the white cloth. According to his mentor's theory, as soon as a shadow appeared on the white cloth, the electrode stimulation should be stopped and maintained at that level, because this indicated that they had made contact with each other.
Lu Kang didn't see any movement on the white cloth. His fingers were still slowly turning the knob.
The black hole receded from Wenshan's sight, replaced by a faint, hazy red light, its surface fine and fuzzy. He felt himself lose weight, float, and merge into the endless light. Slowly, the light began to fade. Fader and fainter. Like a colossal creature slowly enveloping him, a faint shadow appeared before Wenshan, as ethereal as a thin, dark cloud. The cloud coalesced within the red light, gradually forming a human shape. Wenshan saw the shape of a head. Then hands. Then feet. The figure drifted aimlessly like a reflection in water.
“You’ve come—” Wenshan said softly, his tone unusually calm.
Lu Kang clearly heard Wen Shan's three words through the earpiece, which startled him greatly. He quickly stopped turning the knob and stared wide-eyed at the white cloth.
There was nothing on the white cloth. But Lu Kang still couldn't stop his heart from pounding, and the rush of blood to his head made him feel a little dizzy.
It had arrived; Lu Kang knew he had successfully opened the gate to that space.
Wenshan stared intently at the figure in front of him. His thoughts were a little confused, but he was certain of what he was seeing: the object that had always been attached to him, even though it was now just a shadow.
At that moment, Wenshan heard a voice coming from that figure. It had no apparent source, as if it were emanating directly from him; the voice was slow, low, and diffuse, yet Wenshan heard it very clearly. "Why are you looking for me—?"
Wenshan replied, "I have some questions for you."

Reply [18]: "Who are you—?"
"You took advantage of my body, don't you know who I am?"
"I don't know. I only know that I fell, it hurt so much, all the bones in my body were broken. Then I saw the doctor's face, and then I fell into an empty black hole. I walked for a long time, and then the pain stopped. Then I came back. I found my home, but I couldn't get in—"
"Why?"
"Because my body is empty, I've lost something—"
"What is that?"
"It's very important, it's very important, I can't go home without it—"
"What is it? Tell me quickly, what is it?"
"I must find it!"
"What exactly is it? Tell me, tell me now!"
"See for yourself—"
Suddenly, Wenshan's vision went black, and the heat enveloping his body vanished instantly. He felt as if he had fallen into a large, sterile room. A large, bright light hung overhead, and beneath it stood two people, also dressed entirely in white, busily working in front of a bed. Wenshan slowly approached, but the two seemed completely oblivious to his presence, continuing their work. Wenshan peered closer, silently observing everything unfolding before him.
Lu Kang strained every nerve in his body to listen, but Wenshan and the soul remained silent; the world was as still as death.
After a long while, Wenshan's voice rang out again.
"Are you Feng Xinhua?"
Do you recognize me?
How did you fall?
"I was kicked from behind, it was definitely a foot, I was murdered—"
Do you know who killed you?
"I don't know, I don't want to know anymore, I just want to find my things, I—want—to—go—home—, I—want—to—go—home—!"
The sound suddenly became shrill, lingering in the closed living room for a long time, making Lu Kang's skin crawl and his back feel cold.
“I can help you find your things, but you don’t have to get on me?” Wenshan suddenly said.
"Have I been with you all along? I don't know—I don't know—I—want—to—go—home—!"
"So where do you think you are?"
"I'm right here—I've always been here—it's so dark here—I want to go home—!"
“I can help you, as long as you don’t possess me anymore, okay?” Wenshan reached out his hand as he spoke, trying to grab the figure, which was right in front of him. However, he grabbed nothing and fell heavily to the ground, making a loud thud.
