Chapitre 9

"No, I don't know him," Su Jinning replied coldly, denying the curiosity written all over his face.

Chen Hang suppressed a laugh and mustered his courage to ask, "I didn't mean anything by it... I know Ning-ge is straight, I just want to know what's going on between you two..."

"Stop dawdling, I'll talk to you when we get back to class." Su Jinning scratched her frizzy hair impatiently.

As Su Jinning stepped into the teaching building, she bumped into someone while yawning with her eyes closed.

The sharp, burning pain from the hard object hitting his nose made him take two steps back.

He covered his nose and looked over, then quickly apologized, "Sorry, classmate, I wasn't paying attention."

"fine."

The familiar voice entered Su Jinning's ears. He opened his eyes wide as if waking from a dream, trying to take a good look at the person in front of him.

The man was also covering his forehead and looking up at him.

Their eyes met...

"It's you?" "It's you?"

Damn... I'm speechless with despair.

Su Jinning suddenly felt that even ten thousand grass demons couldn't calm the shock in her heart.

"What a coincidence." After a moment, Su Jinning managed to squeeze out only two words.

Shen Moyu touched the tip of his nose: "It is indeed quite a coincidence."

Chen Hang, watching the two of them looking embarrassed, almost injured himself trying to suppress his laughter. He could only try to ease the awkward atmosphere: "Um, top student, did you just arrive too?"

"No, I'm on duty this week," Shen Moyu said casually.

Su Jinning gave an awkward laugh.

Shen Moyu ignored his awkward, almost smug smile and simply asked him, holding up her notebook and pen, "How do you write your name?"

Su Jinning was taken aback for a moment. Although she was a little puzzled, she still obediently reported: "Jin from Jin Nian, Ning from Ning Jing."

"Okay." Shen Moyu wrote it down.

Su Jinning scratched her head and asked, "Class has started, aren't you going back to class?"

Shen Moyu capped the pen: "Catching late students."

“Oh…” Su Jinning nodded.

Three seconds later, he yelled.

"You're the one arresting people for being late?!"

Shen Moyu held up a small notebook: "Su Jinning from Class 8, Grade 11, five points deducted for being late; Chen from Class 8, Grade 11..."

"Ahhh! Let's go now, let's go back now!" Chen Hang dragged Su Jinning upstairs as if he were on fire.

Su Jinning was speechless.

Wow, is it this exciting right from the start?

Shen Moyu suddenly laughed as he watched Su Jinning stumble away.

"Idiot."

After saying that, he crossed out two names from the deduction book.

Author's Note:

Shen Moyu: I have a boyfriend now, and he was even introduced to me (forced) by the forum. But that's not all. What's outrageous is that I picked him up in a fight, and he's a guy. (His face clearly shows his willingness)

Su Jinning: Same as above.

Chapter 4 The Waters Are Getting Muddier

Entering the teaching building, the corridor was unusually quiet. Apart from the occasional loud recitation from other classes, you could almost hear the ticking of a watch.

Su Jinning and Chen Hang walked side by side on the floor for the second-year high school students.

As he approached Class 8, he heard a shout coming from inside the room; it was the voice of a middle-aged man.

He yelled at the top of his lungs, "You never studied properly, and now you've got such a terrible exam score! Now you know what's going on?"

Su Jinning and Chen Hang had a bad feeling.

It's Mr. Yan's math class, damn it!!

Su Jinning slapped her forehead in regret and lowered her voice, saying, "I forgot it was Lao Yan's class!"

"I forgot too..."

Su Jinning thought for a moment and said, "How about we go through the back door?"

After all, who would dare to be late for Yan Sheng's class? That would be suicide.

The two of them lowered their heads, walked around the window, and reached the back door, preparing to dash inside.

But as soon as he looked up, he met Yan Sheng's gaze.

...

Su Jinning was certain that if it were nighttime, he wouldn't rule out the possibility that what was in front of him was a vengeful ghost.

This is just pure bad luck, bad luck just got worse.
