Глава 44

"No need, I would have done the same for anyone else," Song Hao replied.

"I didn't expect you to know acupressure techniques," Luo Feiying said.

“Not entirely!” Song Hao said.

"Oh! You're so fast! Even with a gun pointed at you, you managed to fight back successfully, and there were two of them. Please forgive me for my earlier offense." Luo Feiying recalled that she had once held a gun to Song Hao's head. Luckily, she only intended to scare him at the time; otherwise, if he had really intended to kill her, she would have been subdued by his "pointing" technique. She couldn't help but break out in a cold sweat.

"So, are you my prisoner now, or am I your prisoner?" Song Hao said with a smile.

"Whatever you want!" Luo Feiying pouted.

“Song Hao, from now on, I will no longer force you. Unless you are willing to tell me yourself, I will not force you to reveal the secret of the Heavenly Saint Acupuncture Bronze Man,” Luo Feiying said earnestly.

"Okay! Thank you then," Song Hao said with a smile.

"You're in such a difficult situation, how come you always seem so cheerful? Aren't you worried at all?" Luo Feiying asked.

"It's already like this, what can we do? People should always live happily, otherwise they'll be letting themselves down," Song Hao said, spreading his hands.

"So what do you plan to do now? The various factions in the martial arts world won't let you off easily," Luo Feiying said.

"I don't know, let's just take it one step at a time," Song Hao sighed.

Luo Feiying hesitated for a moment before saying, "Song Hao, although our Demon Needle Sect also wants that supreme treasure bronze figure, you just saved me, so I plan to help you this time. If you trust me, I'll take you to a place, a place no outsiders can find, where a reclusive master lives. He's a friend I trust. You can stay with him for a while, temporarily avoid the current situation, and then we'll talk again in a year or two."

Song Hao listened without speaking. He always felt intimidated by the mysterious and ruthless woman beside him.

"If you don't believe me, fine. Sigh! No wonder, I can't make you believe me." Luo Feiying sighed.

Then, Luo Feiying parked the car on the side of the road and said calmly, "It's safe now, you can go."

"Thank you for seeing me off all the way, goodbye!" Song Hao replied, pushing open the car door to get out.

"Song Hao!" Luo Feiying called out as she turned her head.

"Is there anything else, Miss Luo?" Song Hao asked, turning around.

“You’re really in danger right now. Can’t you trust me just this once? Or tell me a place and I’ll take you there. If you go alone, you’ll fall into the hands of the people looking for you sooner or later,” Luo Feiying said earnestly.

“To be honest, Miss Luo, I really don’t trust you.” Song Hao said, then sat back in the car and continued, “But I really have nowhere to go right now. How about I trouble you to take me to a safe place?”

"No problem!" Luo Feiying cheered and stepped on the gas and drove off.

Song Hao thought to himself, "You little rascal, I can't get rid of you no matter where I go. Since you haven't tried to kill me, I won't be in danger for the time being. I'll just go with you for now. Otherwise, if we run into a few more groups of armed men, it will be really difficult to deal with them."

"What are you thinking about? Are you planning how I'll scheme against you? Don't worry, as I just said, I won't force you anymore, and the people from the Demon Needle Sect won't force you either. Furthermore, I won't let them see you. I need you to tell me willingly on your own initiative," Luo Feiying said with a smile.

“I hope so,” Song Hao replied.

"The old drunkard's heart is not in the wine!" Song Hao sighed to himself again.

“My friend lives in a remote rural area. No one can find it. It couldn’t be safer. Even if my father asked me, I wouldn’t tell him,” Luo Feiying said, turning the car onto a dirt road.

"What friend of yours?" Song Hao asked, still not entirely at ease.

"Alright, it's fine to tell you the truth, but you have to believe me, this person is actually my uncle Luo Beichen," Luo Feiying said.

“Your uncle!” Song Hao frowned, realizing that Luo Feiying had still handed him over to the Luo family.

Luo Feiying understood Song Hao's meaning, so she said, "My uncle and my father have been at odds since childhood and lost contact more than ten years ago. He has been living in seclusion in the countryside. If you have any doubts, I can just find another place." She then stopped the car and reversed to turn around.

"Since you're the one taking me, it doesn't matter where I go. I might as well stay at your uncle's for a while," Song Hao quickly stopped her.

"I'm really touched that you believe me!" Luo Feiying said with a broad smile.

Chapter Fifty-One: Bewitching Needles

After driving for more than five hours, we arrived at a mountain village. The mountains and water reflected each other, creating a picturesque pastoral scene.

Upon arriving at a farmhouse, Luo Feiying stopped the car, jumped out happily, and ran towards an elderly man working in a vegetable field ahead.

"Uncle!" Luo Feiying waved and called out happily.

An elderly man picking vegetables in his garden looked up at the sound and exclaimed with delight, "Ying'er! You've come!" He put down the vegetables and went to greet her. The old man had white hair but a youthful face and radiant appearance; he must have been someone who was well-versed in the ways of health and longevity.

"Haha! Ying'er, why did you think of this old man?" Luo Beichen said happily.

"I missed Uncle, so here I am!" Luo Feiying said sweetly, throwing herself into Luo Beichen's arms.

"What, there are guests too!" Luo Beichen said, surprised to see Song Hao standing next to the car.

“It’s a friend I brought,” Luo Feiying said.

"Oh!" Luo Beichen said, "Then introduce me to him."

"Song Hao, come and greet my uncle." Luo Feiying waved to Song Hao.

Song Hao walked over and said respectfully, "Hello, my name is Song Hao."

"Welcome! Welcome!" Luo Beichen shook Song Hao's hand and invited him inside, saying, "Let's talk inside."

Seeing the surrounding environment and the enthusiastic Luo Beichen, Song Hao knew that this was indeed a safe place, and couldn't help but smile apologetically at Luo Feiying.

Luo Feiying gave a smug "humph".

The farmhouse was exceptionally clean, spotless. Simple wooden tables and chairs were placed in the living room, upon which rested an exquisite purple clay tea set. Several ancient paintings and calligraphy hung on the walls, along with dozens of ancient books in a nearby bookcase, adding a scholarly atmosphere rather than making it seem like a typical farmhouse.

After the guests and host were seated, Luo Beichen served fragrant tea. Song Hao thanked him and accepted the tea.
