Capítulo 38

Wen's mother laughed – "So young, yet so forgetful."

Ah Heng smiled and stopped talking, only watching Yan hope's animated expression as he talked about color matching with great enthusiasm.

"Brother Yanxi, you know so much!" Si'er said with a small laugh and a neutral tone.

The boy stared blankly with his beautiful big eyes, feeling somewhat embarrassed. He shut his mouth and fell silent.

Siwan sighed almost imperceptibly.

Yan Xi and Er'er had always been like this since childhood. They were peers who grew up together, yet they could never become close. Er'er's words to Yan Xi were often laced with harshness, while Yan hope always seemed helpless and somewhat timid towards her.

When they were little, Yan hope would snatch all the toys from the other children in the yard, but he never touched Er'er's. They rarely interacted or were close, and they hardly ever spoke. However, in his memory, whenever Er'er was bullied or ostracized by the boys in the yard, and he rushed to her rescue, he would always see Yan Xi with bruises on his face, sitting silently to the side, watching Er'er cry with his big, blinking eyes, occasionally offering her a tissue.

He found it amazing, yet also regrettable.

When his younger sister was bullied, it was always Yan hope who stood up for her. Even though the two families were very close, it still hurt the pride of an older brother.

Unfortunately, Er'er seemed to dislike Yan hope from the bottom of her heart. She said that whenever she was sad or upset, Yan Xi was always there for her. Children have short memories and often mistakenly believe that this person is the one who bullies them, thus forming a bad impression. Coupled with Yan Xi's usual behavior, no matter how she explained, Er'er seemed determined to hate him.

Ah Heng is in some trouble.

The problem was that she had never met such a troublesome person.

He only drinks chocolate milk, but the chocolate flavor can't overpower the milk taste; he only eats fried eggs when they're 80% cooked, with the runny yolk perfectly centered; when watching TV, he occupies the entire sofa, lying down however he wants, as long as you don't sit next to him, otherwise he'll do everything in his power to kick you off; the shower gel he uses must be baby-safe baby wash, don't even think about anything else, unless you want to see him have an allergic reaction and be covered in freckles; when drawing or playing games, stay at least ten steps away from him, unless you want to be scorned by the paintbrush or smashed by the game controller, but when he wants you to appear, you must show up within three seconds, or you'll be tormented by his resentful gaze; the clothes he washes must be spotless, ideally as neat as those in a boutique, or at least smell nice, and must be a subtly alluring fragrance.

And so, what appeared before everyone was a perfectly formed young man radiating golden light and a disheveled Ah Heng.

"Tsk tsk, Yan hope, you wouldn't happen to be a vixen, would you? You suck people's life essence," Rosemary teased.

"If I'm going to suck, I'll suck the transvestites first." Yan hope spread his hands innocently.

Rosemary smiled charmingly, her phoenix tail twitching upwards, and leaned intimately towards Yan Xi—"Come on, baby, you can suck it, I don't mind."

Xin Dayi's hand trembled, and the physics book hit Rou Si's face.

"Damn it, if Yan hope is a vixen, then you're a thousand-year-old snake demon. You have no breasts or buttocks, yet you have such an inflated sense of self-importance!"

Chen Juan, holding the corner of the book in his hand, threw it back, hitting Xin Dayi squarely on the forehead. He squinted and said, "You're still a baboon that hasn't finished evolving, yet you're pretending to be an ape!"

Fox, snake, baboon...

"Are we going to open a zoo?" Ah Heng asked, yawning, half-asleep.

Last night, Yanxi finished playing games and started yelling that she was hungry and thirsty, so I shook her awake, heated up some milk, and cooked instant noodles.

As a result, she was somewhat sleep-deprived.

"No, we're still one short," Yan hope said seriously.

"What?" Ah Heng rubbed his eyes.

"Adding a stuttering Jiangnan water turtle would be enough," Yan hope chuckled, his teeth sparkling white.

Damn it, it's going to be a cacophony of noise!

Ah Heng was filled with grief and indignation.

"Aheng, in my opinion, Yan hope is just taking advantage of your weakness." Chen Juan grinned mischievously.

Ah Heng laughed. You noticed that?

"Thank you for the compliment." Ah Heng readily complied, smiled, and buried her head in her work, continuing to calculate the energy conversion under her pen.

"Aheng, why do I feel like you don't like me much?" Chen Juan asked playfully. "Have I offended you?"

The pen paused slightly, and Aheng looked up and chuckled softly—"No."

"We're classmates, after all. It's not nice of you to be so distant with me, is it?" Chen Juan turned to her left, interlaced her fingers, and slightly curved her bright red lips.

Ah Heng was taken aback—"You know I'm tongue-tied, usually when I talk..."

Chen Juan interrupted her, smiling charmingly and gazing intently—"This is not an excuse."

Ah Heng lowered her eyes slightly and smiled.

She can't exactly say, "I instinctively feel that you're not a good person, so I openly dislike you," can she?

“You know, I’m short of friends. Girls are jealous of me…” Chen Juan suddenly grabbed Aheng’s right arm, her eyes brimming with tears, and glanced at Xin Dayi with her bright eyes—“And boys always try to take advantage of me.”

Meanwhile, Xin Dayi was scratching his head, drawing a force analysis diagram.

Ah Heng was speechless.

You're giving him too much credit.

Ah Heng looked at the closed door of Yan hope's room, rubbed her temples, and felt a bit troubled.

Da Yi arrived early in the morning, and the two of them stayed in the room in silence, acting furtively, and no one knew what they were doing.

Knock knock.

No response.

This is the tenth time.

Ah Heng was a little annoyed. From the time she started cooking dinner until the mung bean porridge in the kitchen went cold, almost two hours had passed without a sound from either of them.

So, I pushed open the door.

Thankfully, it wasn't locked.

"Aaaaaaah!"

"Waaaaaaah!"

Two high-decibel screams, one deep and one high-pitched.

Ah Heng was startled and terrified. She peeked over and saw that the television in the room was playing a DVD. The two boys sitting cross-legged on the floor screamed like chickens when they saw her.

"Don't watch! Don't watch!" Xin Dayi jumped up, stretched out her arm to block the TV, her eyes wide open, her face as red as if it had been boiled.

Ah Heng was stunned. He stared at the woman's pale thighs, which were faintly visible through the gap in the television screen that Xin Dayi had blocked.

Bang! A cushion came flying at me.

"You pervert!" Yan hope stood at a distance, his face flushed, his big eyes taking up half his face, and he seemed to want to spit on her face.

Immediately afterwards, a second and a third came crashing down, the whooshing sound accompanied by the clear, lewd moans of men and women coming from the television.

Ah Heng gave Yan hope a stiff smile, turned around and closed the door. After taking two steps, she returned, opened the door, and heard screams again.

"I just want to ask when you guys are having dinner."

"Also, continue, I'm not in a hurry."

Later, during dinner, Xin Dayi stammered, "Aheng, don't misunderstand, that was our first time."

Is this the first time I've seen a limited edition item starting with "A," or the first time I've seen such a collective and openly distributed item?

Ah Heng just smiled without saying a word, but her face was ashen.

"Gadfly!" Yan hope hugged the white porcelain bowl, hunched over and drank his porridge, only his big eyes showing, looking aggrieved and innocent, with a hint of teasing and cunning.

Ah Heng put down the bowl, her expression gentle, and slowly said, word by word, "How was I a hooligan? Did I participate, or did I do your handwork?"

I'm so annoyed! I'm so annoyed!

Xin Dayi shivered and whispered to Yan hope.

For Ah Heng to say such explicit things would be harder than killing her under normal circumstances.

Nonsense, do you need to tell me that?

Yan hope raised an eyebrow, covered his mouth with his hand, and cursed back in a low voice.

what to do?

Xin Dayi scratched her black hair, feeling troubled.

Why don't you apologize to Ah Heng?

Yan hope touched his chin, deep in thought.

Why me?

Xin Dayi got anxious and leaned half her body onto Yan hope's seat.

Pshaw! Your stuff, are you expecting me to take the blame?

His words were righteous and his speech was eloquent.

Damn it! If you hadn't said you wanted to watch Japanese movies, would I have gone through all that trouble to bring them here?

Xin Dayi was about to go crazy.

Oh well, whatever, it's your stuff, you're responsible for it.

Yan hope shrugged and closed his eyes, pretending to be a rogue.

Ah Heng lowered his head, his shoulders trembled, and the chopsticks in his hand shook.

"Ah... Ah Heng, don't cry. Um, I didn't mean to bring those things here, don't be angry." Xin Dayi swallowed hard and apologized softly—"It's all my fault, don't cry. I've never seen a girl cry before, it's scary... Ouch, Yan hope, why did you step on me!"

"Cough, yes, yes, Ah Heng, it's all Auntie's fault. Really, this child, all these years, he's only grown older and not smarter. How could he do something so unforgivable, so despicable, and so disrespectful to the Communist Party members! I'll beat him up for you!" Yan hope stomped on Xin Dayi, smiling obsequiously.

Upon hearing this, Ah Heng raised her head, her cheeks flushed red, and a gentle, teasing smile played on her lips.

Thankfully, I wasn't crying.

Xin Dayi breathed a sigh of relief, but then gritted her teeth and cried out, "Aheng!!"

"Sorry, no, I meant to laugh." Ah Heng smiled, her voice soft and sweet, slowly revealing her good mood.

"Hey! You big idiot, you dead turtle!" Yan hope said angrily, pretending to pat Aheng's head with his left hand, but when it reached the top of her head, he gently patted it.

Cool and soft palms.

"Tch, brat, I thought you were really angry."

Her smile was radiant, and her large, dragon-eye-like eyes narrowed slightly.
