Super Allrounder - Kapitel 19
Looking at her confused, struggling face, unsure of where to begin, Baili Qingyi chuckled:
"What do you want to ask? Why did I bring you here for medical treatment? Why did I say you were my fiancée? Why didn't I ask for your consent beforehand?"
Yin Wuxiao opened her mouth, then glared at him angrily. He had already asked her everything she could ask, and she had nothing left to say.
Baili Qingyi sat down beside her.
"A dignified young man in blue robes acting as a henchman, can't he even win a smile from a beautiful woman?" He frowned seriously.
Realizing he was deliberately trying to make her laugh, Yin Wuxiao couldn't resist granting his wish.
"Pretending!" she scolded lightly, her curved eyes betraying her thoughts.
"I brought you here, not because of your leg injury." Seeing her smile, he felt a little relieved.
Yin Wuxiao felt a chill run down his spine.
She knew he was referring to the "unfulfilled desires" within her.
"It's incurable, and there's no need to treat it." Her expression turned cold.
"The medical skills of the Hundred-Question Divine Physician are no less than those of the Poisonous Beauty with Miraculous Hands."
She was startled again.
"How do you know the poison in my body came from the master poisoner?"
"Is it?" he asked instead of answering.
Yin Wuxiao gave a cold laugh, as if he had suddenly grown thorns all over his body.
"According to the martial arts manual, the 'Miraculous Poisonous Beauty' died more than twenty years ago, before I was born, at the hands of the Hundred-Question Divine Physician."
"The records in the martial arts manual are a mix of truth and falsehood; who can say for sure?" Baili Qingyi stated a fact calmly.
"So? You want to find out from me whether the Master Poisonous Beauty is really dead or just faking it?" She held her breath.
"No, I just wanted to save you." He gently brushed a strand of hair from her forehead behind her ear, his voice soft and helpless.
Her eyes lowered at his movement, concealing her shifting thoughts: "I won't die. You won't gain anything by saving me." The thorn quietly withdrew.
Baili Qingyi's hand paused in mid-air, clenched briefly, and then released.
"What I want is more than just your life."
"What else do you want?" she asked, looking up in surprise.
He smiled, but did not answer.
"You should rest well. There are many mysteries in this Hundred Questions Manor. I may not be able to be by your side all the time. In case of any special circumstances, your safety is the most important thing."
“You mean…” she thought for a moment, “that the Qiong Sect didn’t show up today.”
Baili Qingyi nodded approvingly.
"Knowing there was danger, why did you come in alone?"
"I am not alone. I still need to cure the poison in your body."

It was the next morning when I met Xuan He in the courtyard.
Behind Xuan Hegu, the swollen-faced girl still followed closely.
Baili Qingyi helped Yin Wuxiao and forced her to practice walking in the courtyard so that her leg injury could heal as soon as possible.
Xuan He looked slightly panicked when he saw the two of them. He turned to leave, but was stopped by Yin Wuxiao.
"When will Physician Xuan be able to take my pulse?"
Xuan He had no choice but to turn back and say with a forced smile, "I think the girl's leg injury is not serious. Even without my medical skills, it will heal quickly."
"But what I want to see isn't the leg injury." Her voice carried a hint of sarcasm.
Baili Qingyi blinked: "I thought you weren't interested in detoxification at all."
Yin Wuxiao glared at him. She wasn't enthusiastic, but the description of this "Hundred Questions Divine Doctor" was suspicious, so it was only right to question him.
Baili Qingyi shook her head.
Perhaps she herself doesn't realize that whenever Xuan Hegu or Miao Shou Du Shu are involved, she becomes extremely sharp.
"Is Physician Xuan afraid of not being able to cure me, which is why he doesn't dare to take my pulse?" she asked, trying to provoke him.
Xuan He indeed showed a hint of excitement: "Is there any disease in this world that I can't cure!?"
“Since that’s the case…” Yin Wuxiao smiled slightly, but was quickly interrupted by Baili Qingyi.
“In that case, shall we move to the east hall to take your pulse?” He gave her a wink, signaling her to pay attention to the little girl behind Xuan Hegu.
Yin Wuxiao then stopped talking and went along with his intentions.
As the swollen-faced girl passed by, a faint, refreshing scent of bamboo leaves wafted from her.
Xitou Road Turn
"The doctor's office is just ahead. Please follow him inside." The girl with the swollen face stepped back two paces to make way.
Xuan He was the first to step through the small door.
The doorway was narrow, allowing only one person to pass at a time. Baili Qingyi helped Yin Wuxiao back into the doorway.
The room was dimly lit and filled with a strong medicinal smell. Xuan Hegu's expression was not visible in the shadows, but he gestured to Yin Wuxiao to sit down.
"Why is the divine physician's personal maid left outside the door?" Baili Qingyi suddenly asked.
“I never allow them into the consultation room; too much stuff is bad for the medicine.” Xuan He said without looking up.
"Please show your pulse, young lady."
Yin Wuxiao pulled open his sleeve, revealing his right forearm.
"Shouldn't a divine physician inquire about the symptoms before taking the pulse?" Baili Qingyi asked again.
Xuan He snorted unhappily, "I have been practicing medicine for over thirty years. Do I need a young man like you to teach me how to diagnose patients?" He reached out and pressed directly on Yin Wuxiao's wrist.
Baili Qingyi, quick-witted and agile, used Xuan Hegu's falling finger as a springboard and smiled slightly: "The divine physician is too impatient."
Xuan felt a jolt in his arm and his expression changed drastically.
"Master Mu, please come out and meet me," Baili Qingyi called out loudly.
Suddenly, a sound like metal clashing against metal rang out, and the bookshelves on both sides burst open. Two people walked out from inside: Mu Wanfeng and her subordinate Wuguo.
"Young Master in blue is indeed exceptionally perceptive. It's all this old fool's fault for being too hasty and revealing his true colors." Mu Wanfeng strolled over as if chatting casually.
Yin Wuxiao frowned as she looked at Baili Qingyi. She knew Xuan He's actions were deceptive, but she didn't expect him to be exposed so quickly.
As if seeing through her thoughts, Baili Qingyi gave her an innocent look: "If his fingers had really touched your pulse and injected his internal energy, you would be half-dead right now."
"Young Master in green, you flatter me. I merely had the divine physician use his unique technique to seal this young lady's acupoints. She won't die." As if she had bestowed a great favor, she smiled radiantly: "Even if you are Ruan Wuyou's daughter, this sect leader cannot let you ruin our grand plan."
Baili Qingyi glanced at Xuan Hegu indifferently: "The number one physician in the martial arts world, I didn't expect him to become a pawn of Master Mu."
Xuan He looked embarrassed and opened his mouth.
“Young Master in blue, please don’t blame him. For the sake of everyone’s lives in his manor, he has no choice but to obey my orders.” Mu Wanfeng tapped the table beside him. “As for you, Young Master, you can only be offended.”
Before the sound of "了" was even finished, Xuan He slapped the inkstone on the desk with a loud thud. As the inkstone sank, Yin Wuxiao's feet were instantly suspended in mid-air, and the next moment she was completely submerged.
"Hundred miles..." The last two words were almost inaudible.
"Watch out!" The green shadow flashed and followed Yin Wuxiao into the cave.
With a whoosh, the floorboards slammed shut, as if they had never been opened at all.
"Dr. Xuan's movements are so swift and efficient." Wu Guo, standing behind Mu Wanfeng, suddenly spoke up, his voice flat.
“Master Mu, my underground palace is full of traps and mechanisms, and if they fall in, they won’t be able to get out for at least ten days or half a month,” Xuan He said with a careful, apologetic smile.
"Oh?" A cold laugh rang out. "Dr. Xuan, you've really gone to great lengths. Since that's the case... Lianhua!"
"Yes," the girl outside replied respectfully.
"Go and administer the Heartbreak Powder to the water flowing into the underground palace. Don't let the divine physician's efforts go to waste." She casually strolled out the door.
"Master!" Xuan He exclaimed in alarm, "They are already trapped, why bother with this..."
"The leader's order is not to be questioned," Wu Guo said coldly as he passed by him.
Xuan paused for a moment, then slumped down with his hands hanging limply.
No one noticed the strange glint in Lianhua's lowered eyes as she stood by.

"What...what are you doing..." After a long while, Yin Wuxiao finally spat out the dirty water in her mouth and uttered a few words intermittently.
She always believed that when people reach the bottom of the valley, shrouded in darkness, they will always turn things around. But the problem is, you never know when you will reach the bottom. What she thought was the bottom is often just the beginning of another downhill slope.
"The cult leader clearly said he wanted to offend you, so why are you taking it out on me?"
Ever since Baili Qingyi pulled her out of the underground swamp, she felt that the smell of a toad lingered in her mouth for a long time.
"Are you alright?" Baili Qingyi approached with a frown.
"Stop!" She stared at his advancing foot in alarm, as if facing a formidable enemy. "I...I smell bad."
This is unfair. She felt like she had just swum through a cesspool, while he only got his sleeves dirty when he pulled her out.
Baili Qingyi's lips curled up slightly, but seeing her face grow increasingly pale, she quickly hid herself.
"Hmm... You smelled pretty bad when you first arrived in Baili Prefecture."
