Princess Xiangsi - Chapter 128
Book Review 11
The book will be released in January! Stay tuned for Li Mu's book review: Sakura, I voted for you today! Haha~~ I'm really looking forward to your next post! You definitely won't let us down, right? Um, let me sing a song first: "I'm waiting here for you to come back, waiting for you to come back, to make this longing even stronger, I'm waiting here for you to come back, and see how much this longing has grown, and how many more readers there are!" Haha~~ Time to write a long review!
Recently, I was chatting with friends in a love-sickness group, and we talked about Situ now. Well, to sum him up in two words: lecherous. Although he used to be lecherous too, now that he's an emperor, he hasn't changed his philandering ways. He's always thinking about selecting concubines. We even discussed how, after Feng Xue fell off the White Bone Cliff, Jun Wuhen lost weight and grew a full beard while searching for her, and Li Ge stayed up all night, even going down to the bottom of the White Bone Cliff himself, spending half a year breaking the Immortal Elder's formation to find Feng Xue. And him? He's living the life of an emperor, leisurely and carefree. I can't see a single thing about him caring about Feng Xue! Hmph, who would love a man like that? Besides, he already has a child, he's a father, a man who should be a dad. How could he be worthy of our pure Feng Xue? Absolutely not. He falls for anyone with clear eyes, why doesn't he spend all that time searching for Feng Xue? They're determined to see him, dead or alive, right? They're not sincere at all. Luckily, Sakura didn't let him meet with Fengxue. Sakura, your choice was wise!
Let's talk about Jun Wuhen again. He's obsessed with Feng Xue all day long. What a pervert! (Jun's fans, please don't attack me, I'm just expressing my opinion). Later on, I've talked about it many times. He might use Feng Xue for Li Jing's sake. I don't really like Jun Wuhen that much, especially the current Jun Wuhen, so I won't go into detail. Comparatively, my favorite male character is probably Li Ge. I've said it many, many times: Li Ge is gentle, has a broad mind, isn't selfish, doesn't have the same level of suspicion as Situ, and doesn't have the same strong possessiveness as Jun. Li Ge is a healer, with the world in his heart. Ying also mentioned this. It was at the celebration party when Qingyun's first book was published; Li Ge returned late at night to find a patient in dire need of treatment. This shows his compassion. Also, Li Ge is a considerate and thoughtful man. He would dress as a woman for the woman he deeply loves. How many men in the world would do that? Situ Hejun keeps saying he loves Fengxue and Qingyun, but do they truly love each other? I don't know, but I think no matter what, they can't compare to Lige. Lige understands Fengxue very well; he knows her preferences, like chestnut chicken—he's the only one who knows that. And he remembers it so clearly. The other two men? They don't know anything at all. And in Test 5, the character in purple was also protecting Qingyun, unwilling to let her suffer even the slightest harm. He sealed her memories before because he was afraid of causing her pain. How can anyone not love a man like that? Qingyun seems to have fallen for Lige now... Let them be together! What a perfect couple! A golden couple! Let them roam the world, a carefree, secluded, immortal couple!

Book Review Twelve
Wishing everyone a Happy New Year.
"The Princess of Longing" opens with a story full of suspense.
Will Situ Xingyun ultimately succeed in his rebellion and become emperor? What will become of the male lead, Jun Wuhen? What is the true nature of the relationship between Li Ge Gongzi and Feng Xue? What role do the twin butterflies play in the story? Of course—the biggest suspense is, who will Feng Xue end up with? Ying says the story will have a very unexpected ending; what will it be?
Honestly, I really dislike Situ Xingyun. First of all, after falling in love with Feng Xue, he openly married a "concubine." Some might say he was simply overjoyed to have finally found the little girl in red he met in his childhood. But everyone knows he mistook her for someone else. Even if he didn't know, can one person love two women at the same time? If so, then that man can be called a "womanizer." Furthermore, Situ Xingyun's affection is far too simplistic. Just because he saved that little girl in red, and then hadn't seen her for over a decade, not knowing her name or personality, he inexplicably fell in love? And he remembered her all this time, even now, more than a decade later? And after "finding" her, even after already having someone he loved—Feng Xue—he still wanted to marry her? Such a person is truly unlikable. Moreover, while it's understandable that a general with illustrious military achievements might harbor thoughts of usurping the throne from an aging, childless emperor, it's not surprising at all. However, from the female lead's perspective, and from the perspective of someone who reads romance novels like myself, this alone is enough to eliminate Situ Xingyun a hundred times over. (No censorship allowed for fans of the prince...) Not to mention, he already harbors rebellious intentions, and against our female lead—Feng Xue's father. Assuming his rebellion succeeds, and Feng Xue truly falls in love with him, how can she bear it? Spending every day and night with the man who caused her beloved father's death, being all lovey-dovey and affectionate, and finally growing old together? Probably no normal person could do that. Moreover, an emperor's first contribution to the throne and the country is his marriage. If Situ Xingyun becomes emperor, he'll likely be unable to control himself for power, ending up with three palaces, six courtyards, and seventy-two concubines. Can Feng Xue accept that? Should she accept it? Can she accept it?
Jun Wuhen, a martial arts alliance leader, seems like he could be a little more mysterious, arrogant, and wicked… I won't comment on his feelings for Feng Xue, or rather, Qing Yun, for now. Actually, I've always been a bit confused about his feelings for Qing Yun. Wasn't it said that Qing Yun hadn't met anyone except Li Ge? How could Jun Wuhen have met Qing Yun and still like her? It's really strange. Perhaps the answer will be revealed later in the story; I look forward to the rest.
Li Ge Gongzi is currently my favorite character in the story, even more so than Princess Feng Xue. The reason… well, it's simply because his personality suggests he'll be the most devoted lover, and his medical skills—I truly have boundless admiration for him!!! I absolutely adore the image of a white-robed gentleman and a peerless physician; he's my dream man. If Sakura doesn't make Li Ge the male lead in the end, I'll take him home! Haha, just kidding.
Princess Fengxue, the female protagonist of the story, was truly tricked by fate. Her birth brought her happiness, but her adult life was filled with helplessness, even her marriage was not her own choice. I think if any male protagonist in the story wants to win her heart in the end, the first thing he needs to do is resolve the fact that Fengxue is a princess and the emperor has no other children besides her; otherwise, the only option left is rebellion and coercion. Reading this story is so frustrating! It's the first time I've seen a female protagonist's princess status become such a huge problem. Is this one of the novel aspects of the story? Sigh... That's all for now. I hope my rambling doesn't bother anyone. I'll write a longer review next time I have time!
Book Review Thirteen
The book will be released this month, but the exact date is unclear. Uh... soon...
Mamu's book review: I remember I really liked reading the Princess series, so I was always searching for it on Jinjiang Literature City until one day I came across "The Princess of Longing". I don't know if it was fate, but I was immediately attracted. There was only one chapter at the time, but I could clearly feel that this story was very good and I liked it very much. Later, I found out that it was also available on Tencent, so I switched to Tencent.
Seeing the love between Situ and Fengxue was nice, but then Shuangdie appeared, and I realized that love can just disappear like that. Although Situ still loves Fengxue, his love for Shuangdie is only because she's a younger version of him. When he learns that his wife is the one he truly loves, he shows no regret whatsoever. I don't like this kind of man.
At first, Li Ge felt he would be with Qing Yun forever. They were two people who depended on each other for survival, more like lovers. Li Ge was a doctor, always thinking of his patients. He had the world in his heart. He wouldn't be hindered by personal feelings. Until that woman appeared, that wild yet intelligent woman appeared. His heart opened. He fell in love with her. And it was precisely this kind of man who was worthy of Qing Yun's love. Qing Yun was also slowly, slowly, falling in love with the man who had always been by her side, the man who would appear immediately whenever she was in trouble. After being poisoned by the Night Lotus, Li Ge arrived instantly. Moreover, without considering the price he would pay, he transferred the poison to himself. He said he didn't want Qing Yun to suffer. Similarly, he loved Qing Yun very, very much. If he didn't love Qing Yun, how could he have disguised himself as a woman just to protect and care for her? He still remembered that time on her wedding day, seeing the joy on her face when she saw the wedding dress he had given her, the happiness on her lips. My eyes welled up with tears then. Yes, he truly loved Qingyun so much. When he accompanied Qingyun back to Juechen Valley disguised as Ziyi, he said he had someone he loved, someone he loved very, very much—that person was Qingyun, wasn't it? He clearly loved Qingyun, but he wasn't selfish. To prevent her from dying, he willingly sent her into another man's hands. No one knows what he felt at that moment. But I think it must have been incredibly painful. Otherwise, why would he have gotten drunk on the night of his woman's wedding? Qingyun, may you feel that deep love soon!
Jun Wuhen, as a respected leader of the martial arts world, has his own responsibilities. Perhaps he will use Feng Xue to obtain Li Jing later. But I won't elaborate further here.
In conclusion, I support Li Ge.
Because of his love.
Because of his feelings.
I hope that Sakura can help Qingyun and Lige get together.
Only when Qingyun is with him does she show the shyness of a young girl, get jealous, sulk, and feel bashful. In front of Lige, Qingyun is the real Qingyun.
I am here to sincerely wish Li Ge and Qing Yun well.
A book review: An apology letter to readers
To all readers:
First of all, I apologize to everyone regarding the matter of "The Princess of Longing". It was originally supposed to be released in December, but it was postponed to January due to the economic crisis. Now, because textbooks need to be placed in the inventory, my light romance novel can only be put later, so it has been postponed to February.
I'm so sorry to have kept everyone waiting.
Now, besides apologizing, I really have nothing else to say.
I'm so sorry!
I'm just a high school senior and a freelance writer who earns a living by writing light novels. I have absolutely no power. Please be understanding and forgiving!
That's all I can say...
I was speechless, especially after seeing the cover.
Too flashy... That golden flower left me speechless...
My ideal cover is simple and elegant, with a few pear blossoms fluttering in the breeze, giving a subtle feeling. Just like the heroine of "Longing," she faces life with a calm attitude.
That cover is completely irrelevant to the content of my book!
Too flashy...too glamorous...too flowery...too festive...too much of a New Year's atmosphere...
So, my editor gave me my book as a New Year's gift...
Originally, I could have updated the book shortly after its release. Now that it's been delayed like this, I'm afraid there aren't many people who can even remember the content about longing. It's not that I lack confidence in my writing, but in this era of rampant online novels, I'd be content if my story could have lingered in the hearts of my dear readers for a while, and if they could occasionally recall that noble and serene woman.
