Maître de l'ambiguïté - Chapitre 92
The desert is silent!
Countless swords and blades surrounded him. He lay prone in the sand, his narrow eyes fixed on the direction his father had left, a look of astonishment unwavering.
His father, carrying the first snow... abandoned him and his mother...
"You beast! Let me go—"
His mother's humiliated scream jolted him awake. He staggered to his feet from the sand and looked up in horror. The seven-stringed zither had fallen to the ground. The dagger that his mother was clutching had been snatched from her hand by Leng Yexiao. Leng Yexiao had already embraced his mother and was eager to kiss her, laughing loudly.
"In my hands, if I don't want you to die, do you think you can survive?!"
Leng Yexiao waved his hand!
The bandits surrounding Ye Chuhan immediately understood, and countless gleaming blades instantly approached Ye Chuhan, ready to chop the ten-year-old child into mincemeat at Leng Yexiao's command!
The beautiful woman in white stared at her ten-year-old child, frozen in place like a wooden statue.
"If you die, he won't be able to live either."
The cruel Leng Yexiao whispered in the white-clad woman's ear, chuckling lewdly, "Even if you die, I wouldn't want him to. Look at him... he's actually quite handsome, a rare find. In front of us brothers, what difference is there between him and a girl?!"
The woman in white trembled violently, tears streaming down her face, "No..."
Surrounded by the gleaming blades, Ye Chuhan watched as his mother was held in Leng Yexiao's arms. His pupils constricted, and he suddenly bit his lip hard, charging straight at the nearest longsword!
He can die!
But I absolutely cannot let my mother be dragged down, nor let her suffer even the slightest humiliation from this scoundrel!
A rough, large hand grabbed the back of his collar!
A cold laugh came from behind him.
"Kid, do you think we'll let you die so easily once you've fallen into our hands?!"
The large hand lifted him up, held him in mid-air, and then slammed him forward. The ten-year-old boy was thrown heavily onto the sand, his whole body aching, his hand broken, and he coughed up blood, unable to move on the spot.
"See that? If you don't obey me, your child will die a horrible death!"
Leng Yexiao smiled smugly, his blood-stained, filthy fingers slowly slipping inside the stiff white-clad woman's clothes, close to her ear, and whispering:
"You should take off your clothes yourself, so that your brothers can see what the body of the most beautiful woman in the desert looks like..."
The woman in white stared blankly at Ye Chuhan, who was lying prostrate on the sand.
The ten-year-old child, his mouth full of blood, clutched his broken arm and convulsed and trembled in the sand.
In full view of everyone!
Princess Loulan, a gentle and quiet woman, slowly reached out to unbutton her snow-white dress, while two streams of hot tears slowly flowed down her exquisite face...
The desert winds and sands are vast and profound.
The pure white dress fell silently from the tragic woman's hands, and in an instant, it was swept away by the desert winds, disappearing into the distance...
Disappeared on the horizon...
From that day on, ten-year-old Chu Han was taken to Black City and locked in the horse bandits' stable.
His mother, in order to get him a little food, suffered the ravages of bandits day and night. The beautiful mother slowly changed, becoming emaciated. She no longer wore her snow-white clothes, but only wore a dirty blanket all day long, under which was her naked body.
His father, however, never came to their rescue!
Since the day he abandoned him and his mother, his father has vanished from the desert and never appeared again.
He was tied up in the stable and could only watch helplessly as his mother was brutally violated and abused by the bandits. He screamed in agony, biting his lip until it bled, but no one answered his cries for help.
He began to hate—
I hate it like crazy!!
If even one's closest relatives are no longer trustworthy, then who can he rely on? Who else is worthy of his trust?!
Six months later.
He finally found an opportunity, stole a horse from the stable, and fled Black City with his mother overnight.
only--
His mother had been driven insane by the torment. She could only shake her head and stare blankly at people. When she was happy, she would treat a piece of wood as a treasure, holding it tightly in her arms and saying that it was her son. When she was unhappy, she would scream repeatedly, grab Ye Chuhan, who was not yet eleven years old, and beat, scold, and bite him!
Ye Chuhan, alone with her mentally unstable mother, survived in the cold desert, relying on each other for survival.
He was taken in by kind herders and earned food and clothing by herding cattle and sheep for them. He begged the herder doctor to save his mother, but no one could cure her mental illness.
Two long and painful years.
The mother finally stopped being as crazy and manic as before. She calmed down and would sometimes stare blankly at the desert sky for days on end. Her once clear pupils were now dead gray, and she would mutter to herself over and over again.
"Han'er, Xue'er... Brother Ye..."
