Глава 414

I gestured to Tu not to touch those things, and definitely not to take them apart. Then I gave him a wink, and Tu understood, whispering, "Boss, get some rest," before leaving.

Hey, old Thorin, he's still trying to spy on me.

Although I was on someone else's turf, I slept exceptionally soundly until dawn. However, I was woken up by a phone call in the morning.

"Chen Yang, are you awake?" A woman's voice came through the phone. "If you are awake, would you be interested in having breakfast with me?"

Upon hearing that voice, I frowned, but could only manage a wry smile: "Fine."

She is a princess.

If there is any woman in this world who makes me feel somewhat disgusted, at the same time a bit of a headache, and also a strange and complicated feeling... then, without a doubt, it is Her Highness the Princess.

I feel disgusted and repulsed by this beautiful woman's promiscuity, hysterical behavior, and other similar behaviors. Sometimes I can't help but maliciously wonder if God gave her a beautiful appearance but took away some of her intelligence.

The irony is that I had a physical relationship with this woman.

More importantly, she is Thorin's daughter, so even though I dislike her, I can't go too far with her.

The room Sorin provided for me was entirely in the style of European aristocracy. Lying in bed, I could simply pull a cord hanging from the headboard to ring a pleasant bell, and a few moments later, several highly trained nurses would come in to help me get up, dress, and so on.

Undoubtedly, early in the morning, three or four pretty girls, carrying a fragrant breeze, would use their soft little hands and gentle, delicate movements to help you bathe, then help you brush your teeth, wipe your face, wipe your body, and finally help you dress from underwear to outerwear, including shaving and combing your hair, and so on.

This process is undoubtedly very enjoyable.

I remained calm, even when they stripped me naked and gave me a bath, I was completely unmoved.

I was even secretly sneering to myself.

Because I believe that these girls did more than just help me bathe and dress. I believe that before long, when they go back, they will have a report to give to Thorin.

The above is definitely an analysis of me.

In a sense, Thorin's luxurious, almost palatial castle frequently invited and entertained distinguished guests from high society. This lavish lifestyle also provided Thorin with an opportunity to learn many intricate details about the lifestyles of these prominent figures.

Actually... Thorin's actions are similar in meaning to the club that Jojo's father set up.

Over time, Thorin would naturally gather a complete set of intelligence! The habits of every important person who had ever lived here, what they liked to eat, what time they liked to go to bed, whether they were lecherous, what kind of women they liked, and so on. By analyzing every little detail, and then having it all compiled and studied by experts, they could analyze a person's general personality!

Once I was seated in the wheelchair and fully dressed, a girl behind me carefully combed my hair with a comb. A thought struck me, and I smiled deliberately. Then I turned around, raised my hand, and gave her pert buttocks a firm slap: "Alright, push me to the restaurant. It's not gentlemanly to keep a lady waiting."

The girl whose butt I patted immediately blushed and then quickly pushed me out the door.

The restaurant was in the style of a French palace. Even at breakfast, when I arrived, I saw the princess sitting at one end of the long table, her hands resting on the soft white tablecloth, looking at me with a half-smile.

"You're late." The princess seemed to smile.

"Oh...sorry." I gestured for the person pushing me to leave, and I propelled my wheelchair to the dining table myself. The person behind me immediately closed the restaurant door. Only the princess and I remained in the restaurant. I casually picked up the silver spoon in front of me, tasted a sip of the thick soup, and remarked, "This soup is good."

The princess looked at me and said, "It is not gentlemanly to keep a lady waiting."

"Ha!" I laughed loudly, then looked at the princess: "I just couldn't help but enjoy it a little longer... You know, being able to have three or four pretty girls bathe me at the same time is a wonderful thing that I can't enjoy every day."

A strange look flashed in the princess's eyes. She couldn't help but scrutinize me for a moment before softly saying, "You... the tone of your voice... it seems a little..."

“Things are different now, aren’t they?” I said nonchalantly, sipping my soup, then grabbing a piece of bread, breaking it into small pieces, and slowly stuffing them into my mouth. “Your father said the same thing yesterday.”

The princess's face was still alluring, her eyes still captivating, and those peach blossom eyes were still as alluring as ever. Fortunately, she didn't seem to be trying to seduce me or flaunt her charms today. Instead, she was dressed rather conservatively in a high-necked white sweater, which made her look very serene.

I'm not surprised by that... No woman would deliberately try to be alluring when she meets a paralyzed man.

Just like no one would flirt with a blind person.

"Sigh..." the princess sighed softly, "Your leg..."

“You saw it,” I replied calmly.

"I was shocked for a long time when I learned of your injuries." The princess finally looked into my eyes and said slowly, "I was really shocked... and I must tell you, I was very angry and sad... I didn't sleep a wink that night. I never imagined you would go through something like this. In my heart, you should be a very strong man, no one could have done this to you."

“I’ll say it again…you saw it.” I shrugged and then tasted the small pancake in front of me.

“Chen Yang.” The princess suddenly looked sad. “Can you… not be so cold to me… God, I would rather you were like before, angry with me, yelling at me, or looking at me with disgust! I don’t like your cold attitude now.”

I looked up at her, frowning. "What did you say?"

The princess stared into my eyes: "In the past, whether you were angry, furious, or disgusted with me... at least you still remembered me. Even if you hated me or loathed me, it at least showed that you had a deep impression of me... But now, it is your indifferent and unresponsive attitude that makes me uncomfortable."

I laughed, but my laugh was cold: "Your Highness... I seem to remember that the last time we met was in Vancouver. After my wedding... I remember it very clearly, we almost had a falling out, didn't we? But now, you've taken the initiative to invite me to breakfast, and you're being very kind to me. To be honest, I'm a little surprised, and even a little flattered."

The princess's expression changed. She glanced at me, then lowered her head. When she looked up again, she was smiling. "Yes, that's right! There was a hint of sarcasm in your last two sentences. That's the tone you used to use when you spoke to me. Although it's still unpleasant to hear, it's better than your coldness."

I wiped my mouth and put down my napkin: "Okay, I'm full... I didn't have much of an appetite this morning."

"Okay, now, could you come for a walk with me outside?" the princess asked, looking at me.

I thought for a moment, then looked up and smiled, "Alright, I'll go with whatever the host says."

The princess pushed me out of the castle and into the back, where rows of low shrubs were meticulously trimmed and styled into beautiful shapes. An expensive irrigation system sprayed water evenly. The princess pushed me along without saying a word as we walked along the cobblestone path surrounding the castle, lined with green trees.

It was November, and the morning was a bit chilly. I breathed in the crisp air, and felt my mind become clearer from the cold. Suddenly, I turned to look at the princess and said, "Princess, if we continue on like this without anything to say, I think we should go back."

"No, I have something to tell you." The princess hesitated for a moment.

Part Three: The Pinnacle, Chapter Ninety-Seven: Testing the Waters

After walking a while longer, the princess behind them suddenly asked, "Do you know where this is?"

"Hmm... Don't forget, I remember being here at this castle once... Hmm, this road seems to lead to the crocodile pond, doesn't it?" I smiled. "Your Highness, are you really that interested in inviting me to see the crocodiles with you so early in the morning?"

The princess didn't speak, but simply pushed me through an iron gate that I remembered and into the courtyard.

A crocodile pool, encircled by a high concrete platform, lay before me. I glanced around; there was no one there. I said calmly, "Last time your father invited me here, he showed me a spectacular scene of crocodiles devouring a person. What kind of show does Your Highness intend for me to see today? If it's something too stimulating, you'd better tell me beforehand so I can be mentally prepared. Otherwise, if the scene is too bloody, I might vomit... Don't forget, I just had breakfast."

The princess shook her head. She pushed my wheelchair, and we walked together to the edge of the crocodile pool. We looked down at the platform, which was more than two meters high, and the semi-transparent water, but we didn't see any crocodiles.

“It’s already November. Crocodiles are cold-blooded animals, and they become less active in winter,” the princess said slowly. Then she suddenly sat down next to me, propped her legs up on the edge of the table, and gently rested her head on my arm, which was resting on the armrest of my wheelchair.

"Chen Yang...do you know? When I heard you were injured, I was really heartbroken. I'm not lying to you about that, I really am." The princess's voice was low. "I know that in your eyes, I'm a slut, a wanton and lowly woman. But I've told you before, you are the man I love most right now. There was a time when I was truly infatuated with you. Your pride. Your arrogance, your disdain for me, and the way you got angry at me...all of that fascinated me! I tried to find other men, but none of them could make me forget you. And later, that feeling grew stronger and stronger, making me determined to have you!" The princess's voice gradually became more agitated as she finished speaking.

I said calmly, "Those are all in the past."

"No! Not in the past!" the princess suddenly retorted loudly, "When you got married, I truly hated you! I hated you to death! That's why I didn't hesitate to ruin my father's plans and couldn't resist having those assassins really kill you! But I have to tell you, when the time came, I regretted it... That day in Vancouver, after you exposed me, I was really heartbroken, extremely heartbroken..."

As she spoke, her eyes reddened, and tears welled up in her eyes.

I sighed. "Your Highness, you must have spent a lot of time on acting lessons lately... Stop crying. You almost fooled me with this trick once before. Do you think I'll fall for it again?"

“I’m not lying to you now.” The princess looked at me quietly. “You know… after that incident in Vancouver, I couldn’t stop thinking about it…”

"Recall what?" I sneered. "Recall the day you drugged me and we ended up doing some BDSM? Or recall the way I whipped you?"

"I... if you like, then I'll be willing to be whipped by you every day from now on." The princess's sudden reply left me speechless.

Sure enough, this woman really is a BDSM enthusiast.

"Stop with that." I curled my lip. "Don't you think that for a man who's paralyzed from the waist down, all this seduction is a waste of effort?" I deliberately glanced at the princess. "You don't know what paralysis means for a man, do you?"

"..." The princess glanced at me and whispered, "I know."

She paused for a moment, then suddenly clenched her fists and shouted, "Now that I know you were harmed by the Big Circle people, I want to kill them all! Last time some Big Circle people came to see Father... I really wanted to catch all those guys and throw them in here to feed the crocodiles! I will definitely throw all those people who harmed you in here to feed the crocodiles!"

As she spoke, she stood up excitedly and looked at me: "Whether you believe it or not, this is what I want to tell you today."

After saying that, she shook her head and was about to push me away, but her foot slipped... as if she had stepped on something, she staggered and then immediately fell backward!

And behind her... was a crocodile pool!

Seeing the princess fall backward, her hands flailing and losing her balance, I frowned and immediately reached out to pull her back. Unfortunately, the force of her fall was so great that she pulled me off the wheelchair as well!

thump!

We both fell from a platform more than two meters high and landed in the crocodile pool!

As soon as my body touched the ground, I felt a thick layer of soft mud, but my nostrils were filled with a disgusting, fishy stench. My hands were on the ground, covered in mud and a thin layer of green moss.

The princess beside her was also struggling to get up. Fortunately, the ground below was soft mud, so she didn't fall and get hurt.

The princess had just gotten up when her face changed, and she couldn't help but scream. I, however, simply straightened up, still sitting flat on the ground with my legs outstretched, and coldly looked at the woman: "What's your name?"

The princess looked terrified and frantically shrank behind me, trying to climb the wall. But how could a girl possibly climb a wall nearly four meters high?

No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't get up there.

"Chen Yang... Chen Yang, what should we do!" The princess was in a panic.

"What can I do?" I said calmly. "While the crocodile is still asleep, let's quickly call for help to get us up there. I've had breakfast, but the crocodile probably hasn't eaten yet."

As I spoke, I leaned against the wall behind me, sighed, but kept my eyes fixed on the pool in front of me!

"I...I didn't bring my phone." The princess's voice trembled; she was so frightened that her body shook. Suddenly, she screamed at the top of her lungs, "Help! Help! Someone help me!!!"

When the woman was shouting, the decibel level of her voice was indeed very high. However, it seemed that she had blocked the people following us all the way here, so now that she was shouting like this, it was unlikely that anyone could hear her.

Sure enough, after calling out twice, the princess seemed unable to even stand, but there was no response from outside.

Suddenly, I saw a ripple appear on the surface of the pool in the distance. I sighed and said, "Shut up, woman. Obviously... you didn't call for help, but you've alerted the crocodiles instead."

As I spoke, I pointed!

In the distance, ripples spread slowly across the pool, clearly heading in our direction. The princess was deathly pale; she didn't even care about the mud on her hands and clothes, screaming and desperately trying to climb the wall. I sat there coldly, letting her do as she pleased.

"Chen, Chen Yang, we need to...we need to find a way to get out of here!" The princess cried. I looked at her calmly: "This wall is nearly four meters high. If it were before, I could easily climb over it...but now, Your Highness, have you forgotten that I am paralyzed?"

The princess flinched, gave me a deep look, and cried out in panic, "Are we just going to wait to die...? You... Ah!! Crocodile!! Crocodile!!"

As she spoke, terror flashed in her eyes, and she pointed to a spot not far away, shouting loudly.

I followed her finger. Sure enough, a huge creature, over two meters long, slowly surfaced. Its long mouth and eyes were barely visible above the water, while its massive body remained submerged very close to the shore, seemingly observing us.

The princess's body was trembling, her legs were weak, but she was still jumping with all her might, as if trying to reach the wall. But even professional basketball players can only reach a little over three meters high when they jump. The princess was just a woman; how could she possibly touch a four-meter wall?

The crocodile in the pool finally seemed to make a move. Its body slowly emerged, nearly three meters long from head to tail, and then it slowly crawled onto the shore. However, it seemed to be observing us, and did not immediately pounce, but cautiously approached little by little.

The princess screamed again, pulling at me forcefully: "Chen Yang... Chen Yang..."

I remained unmoved, simply sitting there, frowning, and said, "No matter how loudly you shout, will you scare the crocodile away?"

I appeared calm, but my heart was pounding. I stared nervously at the crocodile, and I could almost see a chill in its eyes!

The crocodile was still slowly approaching. It probably realized we had no chance of escape, and tried to take two more steps forward. I frowned, then quickly grabbed a clump of dirt from the ground, squeezed it tightly, and threw it at it from a distance.

Snap!

The mud ball hit the crocodile squarely on the head. While it wouldn't cause any real harm, it was enough to scare it.
