Chapter 1
Slim waist and long legs
The sun was blazing.
The students who were taking a nap at their desks were annoyed by the chirping of cicadas.
Song Ling had no idea what kind of crappy school she had ended up in. There was no air conditioning, no private bathroom. She even had to shower with a bunch of smelly Alphas, which was really infuriating.
If it weren't for his mother's fear that he would be corrupted by the Alphas in the capital and insisting on sending him here for reformation, he wouldn't have condescended to study in this godforsaken place.
Just as I was getting really agitated, a commotion outside the classroom reached my ears.
There's a fight going on.
Ms. Song had warned Song Ling many times not to do anything reckless. Song Ling originally didn't intend to get involved in this matter, but a faint sobbing sound reached her ears.
"Omega?"
The crying was intermittent and very faint, sounding like it came from a young Omega. Song Ling snapped out of her daze, stood up, picked up the stool she was sitting on, and headed out the door.
At the end of the corridor, five or six Alphas, men and women, were blocking a small Omega and making a fuss.
"Get out of the way," Song Ling said coldly.
The group turned around and saw a boy with a stern face, and couldn't help but laugh a few times.
The lead Alpha took a step forward, towering over Song Ling by a head, and warned in a deep voice, "Little classmate, this is a personal matter. I advise you to stay away, or you'll have to serve us with him. You're an Alpha, aren't you? I've never tasted what an Alpha is like before. Your face is quite delicate, and your waist is..."
Just as the Alpha's hand was about to touch Song Ling's face, Song Ling grabbed the man's arm and twisted it hard.
A crisp sound of dislocation rang in their ears, and the captured Alpha screamed. The others behind him were stunned, seeing how ruthless Song Ling had been.
"What are you looking at? You're afraid of him just because he's alone? Go ahead and hit him!"
The man whose arm had been twisted and dislocated yelled, and several Alphas rushed over from behind him.
Song Ling was handsome, and the oversized school uniform he wore made him look unassuming, but he had learned his fighting skills in the military. He didn't even look at these few arrogant little brats.
Several people were beaten down by Song Ling in just a few punches and kicks.
Before even using the bench, Song Ling simply laid it horizontally on top of the Alpha lying on the ground. He sat down, a smirk playing on his lips, and looked at the remaining people with great provocation: "Either you continue to be beaten by me, or you get lost."
Five or six people were beaten down by Song Ling, a seemingly weak young man. They felt ashamed, but knowing they couldn't beat him, they could only slink downstairs.
Only then did Song Ling have time to look at the little Omega who had been surrounded.
Are you alright?
It wouldn't have mattered if he hadn't looked, but once he did, Song Ling was stunned. This wasn't a little Omega; this was his future wife.
"Thanks."
The boy murmured something, his curled eyelashes fluttering slightly. Those few flutters felt like a slap into Song Ling's heart. The boy was extremely fair-skinned, with stray hairs falling on his forehead and his thin lips bitten by his teeth, looking quite pitiful, almost like a little doll.
Song Ling stared intently at the person in front of her, as if she were looking at a treasure.
Seemingly feeling a little uneasy under Song Ling's gaze, the boy wearing silver-rimmed glasses looked up at him and said, "My name is Luo Wenchuan, what's yours?"
"Ah, Song Ling."
Her name is lovely, so elegant, and she's a perfect match for Song Ling.
Song Ling grinned and smiled.
"If you help me, it will cause trouble." Luo Wenchuan looked up at Song Ling, his eyes filled with worry.
Song Ling was a little lost in thought when she came to her senses and said, "It's okay, they can't beat me, and I can run fast. At worst, I can escape."
Of the Thirty-Six Stratagems, running away is the best. Song Ling values his life very much and will never fight to the death with anyone in his life.
"You're amazing," Luo Wenchuan said, his tone full of envy.
The boy's voice was clear and bright. Although the volume was not loud, it sounded like a spring breeze in March or April, making people feel inexplicably comfortable.
Song Ling was almost stunned by the compliment. Back in the capital, he had received many compliments. But when Luo Wenchuan said it, it sounded especially comforting and sincere.
"You're a new transfer student, right?" Song Ling asked.
There's a group of good-for-nothings at school who love to bully new students. He was cornered when he first arrived, but after that, he became famous, and nobody dared to bother him anymore. Those guys didn't seem to recognize him; they were probably freshmen too.
Luo Wenchuan nodded: "They came from the next county, to study here."
Song Ling could tell from the man's halting speech that he had probably been bullied a lot in the past.
Young Alphas often waste their energy on brute force to determine their status, bullying Omegas who haven't fully matured. Song Ling abandoned this low-level behavior early on, using his brute strength for physical training. Unfortunately, his mother didn't understand and insisted that he was neglecting his duties.
“I should be a year older than you, so I’ll take care of you from now on. If you don’t mind, you can call me Song Ling, or like they do, call me Brother Ling.”
Song Ling is an Alpha who has already differentiated. Although he has not yet reached his peak, the signs of being an Alpha who looks down on everything since birth are becoming more and more obvious. He has fair skin and looks tall and slender when he is dressed. He was named the "cutest Alpha" because of his face, but he has quite a lot of muscles.
Luo Wenchuan was a little shorter than Song Ling. He looked at Song Ling and forced a faint smile.
It's quite handsome. Luo Wenchuan is such a good-looking person, and he looks so refined. No wonder those Alphas are all gathered around looking at him.
"Have you eaten?" Song Ling asked.
Luo Wenchuan was really thin and spoke softly. Songxian No. 1 Middle School had short meal times and many people, so he seriously suspected that this kid couldn't get any food at all.
As expected, Luo Wenchuan shook his head and said in a voice barely above a whisper, "Not yet, the cafeteria is closed."
“That’s true, it’s past one o’clock, and the students are all in their dorms by now.” Song Ling thought for a moment, then pulled Luo Wenchuan’s arm and said, “Come with me, I’ll take you to get something to eat. You have four classes in a row this afternoon, and you can’t stand it without eating something.”
This lousy school likes to use a time-based strategy of five classes in the morning, four in the afternoon, and three more in the evening. When Song Ling first came from the capital, the students were almost driven to hysteria by the classes.
"Yes, yes, I'll be late."
"There's still an hour left, don't worry."

Song Ling smiled to himself, thinking that Luo Wenchuan was quite adherent to this ridiculous rule, and he couldn't bear to see an honest man go hungry. He grabbed Luo Wenchuan's arm and dragged him directly to the school gate.
The gatekeeper recognized Song Ling. A handsome young man like Song Ling could be easily appeased with a few kind words.
The two went to a noodle shop near the school gate. Song Ling asked Luo Wenchuan to order, but Luo Wenchuan stared at the menu for a long time without saying a word.
"You don't like any of them?" Song Ling asked him.
Luo Wenchuan shook his head: "I... didn't bring any money..."
The person was as timid as a rabbit, their cheeks flushed slightly. How could this person be so shy? It's quite amusing.
Song Ling chuckled twice and said, "I'll treat you to a meal. Order whatever you like. How expensive can noodles be?"
"No, that's not good. My mom said we can't take things from others for free."
Luo Wenchuan's speech was not very fluent, and Song Ling once suspected that he might have a stutter. If it wasn't a natural stutter, it was probably caused by something he had experienced later in life. Judging from his wilted appearance, he must have been bullied by other Alphas in the past.
Meeting Song Ling was the luckiest thing that could happen to this guy.
"Do you like ramen?" Song Ling asked.
Luo Wenchuan nodded without saying anything.
Song Ling took it upon herself to order beef noodles for the two of them. Seeing that Luo Wenchuan looked underdeveloped, she added two extra portions of beef to his noodles.
"You don't need that much."
Luo Wenchuan was somewhat alarmed. He looked up at Song Ling, his clear eyes filled with unease.
"Eat up, you'll have the energy to study when you're full."
Upon hearing this, Luo Wenchuan no longer declined, saying only, "I'll treat you to a meal sometime."
Song Ling smiled but didn't say anything. He was quite good at judging people. Even though Luo Wenchuan, an Omega, was a bit thin, he was smarter than most people. Judging from how afraid he was of being late, he must be a well-behaved student.
While eating his noodles, Song Ling watched the rabbit-like man opposite him slowly putting noodles into his mouth. Although this action was a bit awkward for a grown man, Luo Wenchuan's good looks were irresistible.
Good-looking people aren't called awkward, they're called refined. Thinking this, Song Ling looked even more intently, making Luo Wenchuan's ears turn red.
The two finished their meal almost before class started. Song Ling escorted Luo Wenchuan back to his classroom before leisurely heading to her own building.
Song Ling is handsome; the youthful innocence and the wildness of an Alpha coexist on his face, making him the most likely to capture the heart of an Omega experiencing first love.
As soon as I returned to the classroom and opened my book, an envelope appeared before my eyes.
"Wow, Brother Ling is really lucky with women. This is the third one this month, right?"
The speaker was Zhou Yinan, Song Ling's roommate.
"You got a haircut?" Song Ling couldn't help but smile when she saw Zhou Yinan's buzz cut.
This level of skill is even better than the lawnmowers at school.
Zhou Yinan is good-looking, especially her pair of cute little tiger teeth, which make her smile particularly adorable. Although her buzz cut looks a bit outdated, showing her forehead actually makes her look exceptionally energetic.
Zhou Yinan scratched his head and said, "I got my hair cut for five yuan at the doorstep near my house, how about that?"
"It's definitely worth it."
Just as Song Ling was about to throw the love letter aside, Zhou Yinan immediately stopped her: "Don't do that. The girl wrote it with her heart. You should at least take a look. You can't let her feelings go to waste. Even if you don't like it, you should at least tell her yourself and give her unrequited love an ending."
"Too."
Remembering how pitiful Luo Wenchuan looked at noon, Song Ling felt a bit of pity for the Omega who delivered the love letter.
Song Ling opened the mint green envelope, wondering which Omega had such a strong and powerful handwriting. Her eyes swept over the signature, and there it was: "Jiang Hanzhou".
Song Ling: ?
Isn't this person an Alpha? Why am I writing love letters to him?
"What is it written?" Zhou Yinan asked, noticing Song Ling's furrowed brows.
Song Ling carefully read the letter's contents, which were filled with words like "waist," "legs," and "pheromones." This Jiang Hanzhou looked so well-dressed, yet his mind was filled with such lewd thoughts.
"Who wrote it?" Zhou Yinan asked.
