Chapitre 114

After coming out of the bathroom, Yang Feng glanced at his sister's room, which was still tightly closed, and then returned to his own room, lay down on the bed, and picked up his phone.

The first thing I did was open QQ, but there were no messages from my contacts. I glanced at the news, then put my phone on the small table and prepared to go to sleep.

Just then, the old ringtone of his cell phone rang. Yang Feng raised an eyebrow slightly and muttered, "It's already eleven o'clock. Who's calling me?"

Yang Feng stretched out his hand, put the phone to his ear, and after answering the call, his first words were:

"Hello, who is it? Why are you calling in the middle of the night? Don't you know I need to rest?"

"Yang Feng, it's me~"

Yang Feng suddenly opened his eyes, glanced at the phone number—it was his girl, Han Shilan—and then coughed lightly, saying:

"Why is my wife calling me so late? Why don't you go to bed earlier?"

"I just finished studying and was about to go to sleep. Oh, by the way, the school has rescinded your expulsion notice. So, how are you going to thank me? Hehe."

On the other end of the phone, Han Shilan was lying on her light blue bed, hugging a milk candy-shaped pillow, with a slight upturn at the corners of her mouth, revealing two adorable dimples.

"What? How can I thank you?" Yang Feng was a little confused, scratching his slightly damp hair.

"You..." Han Shilan puffed out her cheeks angrily, complaining in her heart: Humph, if I hadn't spoken to my dad, how could the expulsion order have been revoked?

There was a few seconds of silence.

Yang Feng asked, "Is there anything else?"

"It's nothing... I just missed you," Han Shilan said shyly, biting her little finger.

"I miss you too," Yang Feng replied with a slight smile.

"Hmm... I'll put it on speakerphone, tell me a story." Han Shilan thought for a moment and then slowly began to speak.

“Storytelling? I’m not very good at it.” Yang Feng was slightly taken aback, and said quite frankly.

"Oh~" Han Shilan replied with some disappointment.

Yang Feng could sense Han Shilan's disappointment over the phone, and then said, "How about I sing you a lullaby?"

"Okay, okay!" Han Shilan's beautiful eyes suddenly lit up, and a smile instantly bloomed on her face as she quickly replied.

"Ahem, let me clear my throat." Yang Feng coughed lightly, his red lips slowly opening as he began to sing a song from another time and space.

"I left happiness behind in the crowd... I stopped at the crossroads we once crossed, but you walked away..."

"I understand, yet I can't understand... walking back to back with you..."

Han Shilan lay on the bed with a sweet smile on her lips, gradually falling asleep, hugging a milk candy pillow as if she were Yang Feng.

After Yang Feng finished singing, he called out to Han Shilan several times, but she didn't respond. She must have fallen asleep. He then pressed the red hang-up button.

…………

The next morning, as dawn broke, Yang Feng, carrying a shoulder bag, walked to the door and saw that his sister's room was already open; she had left early again.

It seems she's really angry this time.

"Sigh." Yang Feng shook his head helplessly and walked towards the school.

Upon arriving at the classroom, Yang Feng sat down as usual, picked up his study materials, and began reviewing.

"Yang Feng, good morning."

Han Shilan skipped and hopped to sit next to Yang Feng, put down her white schoolbag, and smiled happily. It seemed she had slept well last night.

"Shilan, good morning too," Yang Feng replied with a smile.

"Hey Yang Feng, have you had breakfast yet?"

Han Shilan, holding her white backpack, slowly unzipped it and began to speak.

"Huh? What's wrong? You've already eaten?" Yang Feng asked, slightly taken aback.

"Oh... I made some sandwiches this morning and wanted to bring them to you for breakfast. I didn't have time to tell you last night that I bought the sandwich ingredients before I fell asleep."

Han Shilan pouted slightly, stuck out her tongue, and spoke.

"Oh, really? I didn't eat much this morning, and I'm still a little hungry. Let me have some."

Yang Feng smiled faintly and spoke.

"Okay, okay."

As she spoke, Han Shilan unzipped her backpack, took out a sandwich wrapped in plastic film, and placed it in Yang Feng's hand.

"Try it, this is the first time I've ever cooked for a boy, so don't complain too much~"

Yang Feng smiled slightly, nodded, opened the package, and took a small bite. Inside were slices of ham, pork floss, and a little cream.

"It's delicious, really, I'm not kidding."

Yang Feng chewed on his food and muttered to himself.

"Really? You're not kidding me!"

Han Shilan said, her eyelashes fluttering.

"Try it yourself if you don't believe me."
