Ich bin ein Gott in der Chatgruppe aller Reiche - Kapitel 14
The woman in the blue dress had delicate, arched eyebrows. With a flick of her arms, two icy, jade-like short swords appeared from her long sleeves, their tips trembling slightly and radiating a cool light.
She held her left sword horizontally, protecting Tang Yanchu and Yue Ruzheng, while her right sword spun in her palm, pointing directly at Su Muchen.
"This is not a place for you to run wild." The woman's tone was calm, but it carried a chilling undertone.
Su Muchen gripped his curved sword tightly and asked, "Who are you?"
The woman raised her eyebrows slightly and simply said three words: "Lian Junqiu."
"You're Lian Junqiu?!" Su Mucheng gasped, instinctively glancing around. His men, whose waists had been swung by a sword but fortunately their internal organs hadn't been damaged, gritted their teeth and got up from the ground. Hearing the woman's answer, they couldn't help but look fearful and surrounded Su Mucheng.
"So it's Miss Lian from Seven Star Island..." Su Mucheng stared at Lian Junqiu's impassive face, then turned to Tang Yanchu and Yue Ruzheng behind her, sneering, "When did Seven Star Island side with Yinxi Xiaozhu? Miss Lian, have you forgotten that just a few days ago, our Valley Master reached an agreement with your father!"
Lian Junqiu held her two swords steadily, glanced behind her, and said, "I am not fighting you because of Yinxi Xiaozhu."
"What do you mean?! Yue Ruzheng is clearly right behind you, and you still say you're not helping Yinxi Xiaozhu?" Su Muchen angrily pointed his curved sword at the person behind her.
Yue Ruzheng was also very puzzled. She knew that Lian Haichao, the master of Seven Star Island, had two daughters, but neither of them had any connection with Yinxi Xiaozhu. Moreover, Su Muchen had just said that Mo Li had already used the Dragon Heart Grass as a price to get Lian Haichao to deal with her master and senior uncle. She didn't understand why Lian Junqiu would save her here and become an enemy of Bliss Valley.
But Lian Junqiu glanced at her disdainfully and said, "Is Yue Ruzheng worth my time?" She paused, looked at Tang Yanchu, and said, "I will not allow you to cause trouble here!"
Yue Ruzheng was startled again. She had previously thought that this woman and Tang Yanchu had a bad relationship, but now that she said this, she didn't know what the reason was.
Tang Yanchu had remained silent ever since Lian Junqiu appeared, but now she raised her head and looked at Lian Junqiu.
Su Mucheng was taken aback, staring at Tang Yanchu and asked, "Are you also from Seven Star Island?"
Before Lian Junqiu could speak, Tang Yanchu swiftly interrupted, "I'm not."
Lian Junqiu glanced at him, and Su Mucheng stepped forward, saying, "Since that's not it, Miss Lian, please hand over Yue Ruzheng! We don't want to be enemies with Seven Star Island either, just take this girl with us!"
"I told you, you can't take her away!" Tang Yanchu suddenly said sternly.
Enraged, Su Mucheng's face turned ashen. He roared, "Who do you think you are?! How dare you detain the people Bliss Valley wants?!" Before he could finish speaking, Lian Junqiu's eyes flashed with fury. Suddenly, she leaped into the air, her sword aimed at Su Mucheng's chest. Su Mucheng hastily raised his curved saber to protect himself, the two swords clashing and sparks flying. Lian Junqiu's two short swords flew up and down, forcing Su Mucheng down the hillside. Still wary of Lian Junqiu's status, Su Mucheng dared not fight her head-on. In less than ten moves, Su Mucheng let out a scream as Lian Junqiu's sword swept past his saber's defense, striking him squarely in the right shoulder.
Su Mucheng's men rushed forward to protect him, while he glared at Lian Junqiu through gritted teeth.
Lian Junqiu flicked the blood off her sword and said sternly, "Su Mucheng, how dare you speak so disrespectfully to him! Do you know who he is?"
Tang Yanchu's eyes turned cold, and she said in a low voice, "Don't say it!"
Lian Junqiu ignored his reaction and raised an eyebrow at Su Muchen and the others, who looked puzzled, saying, "He is my younger brother, the young master of Seven Star Island!"
"What?! He... he's Lian Haichao's son?!"
Su Muchen was shocked. Lian Junqiu sheathed her swords, glanced at him sideways, and sneered, "What? You don't believe me?"
"Everyone in the martial arts world knows that Lian Haichao only has two daughters, so where did he come from?!" Su Muchen felt cold in his hands and feet, but he still tried to hold on.
Lian Junqiu raised her eyebrows and looked at him indifferently, saying, "This is a family matter of our Lian family, and it has nothing to do with you. Although Yue Ruzheng is a complete stranger to me, my brother does not want you to take her away. Please make yourselves at home! If there is anything else, please come to Seven Star Island to find me!" After saying that, she walked in front of Tang Yanchu, helped him support Yue Ruzheng, and then walked forward.
Su Mucheng gritted his teeth, and seeing that Lian Junqiu had reached him, he had no choice but to step aside and watch the three of them leave.
Yue Ruzheng seemed to be dreaming, and was led back to the courtyard by Lian Junqiu in a daze. Along the way, Tang Yanchu did not say a word, but silently followed beside her, his brows slightly furrowed and his eyes distant.
After returning home, Lian Junqiu helped Yue Ruzheng into the bedroom, brought out a medicine box, and reapplied medicine and bandaged her wound. Tang Yanchu stood to the side, and seeing that Yue Ruzheng's ankle injury had reopened, she turned her face to look out the window.
Yue Ruzheng lay silently, enduring the pain, her emotions still unsettled. She had always thought Tang Yanchu was just a disabled herb-gathering boy, living alone in this remote mountain, unknown and unconnected to the martial world. But today's unexpected turn of events had led to this outcome, and she simply couldn't reconcile this usually aloof and taciturn boy with the identity of the young master of Seven Star Island.
Lian Junqiu packed up her medicine box, stood up, and said, "Miss Yue, please rest for a while." She then turned to Tang Yanchu and said, "Junchu, come out here for a moment."
Tang Yanchu silently got up and followed her out.
Lian Junqiu and Tang Yanchu talked outside in their dialect for a long time. Tang Yanchu still rarely spoke, but when he did, his tone was resolute. Yue Ruzheng lay on the inner side of the bed with her eyes closed. Beside her pillow was the light gray shirt that Tang Yanchu had given her. She reached out and touched the coarse cloth short shirt, still unable to believe what Lian Junqiu had just said.
A moment later, she heard someone approaching, but it wasn't Tang Yanchu. Yue Ruzheng turned around and saw Lian Junqiu standing in front of the bed, her usually icy face now showing a hint of melancholy.
Yue Ruzheng hesitated for a moment, then said in a low voice, "Miss Lian, thank you for saving me."
Lian Junqiu said, "I told you I didn't act to save you." She paused, looking at Yue Ruzheng's somewhat haggard face, and asked, "How long do you plan to stay here?"
Yue Ruzheng paused for a moment, then said with her eyes slightly closed, "I was just about to go down the mountain."
"Really?" Lian Junqiu raised an eyebrow in slight surprise. "You're rushing back to Luzhou?"
Yue Ruzheng, unwilling to reveal the real reason, nodded. Suddenly remembering Su Mucheng's earlier words, she quickly opened her eyes and looked at Lian Junqiu, saying, "Miss Lian, Yinxi Xiaozhu has always been peaceful and has no ancestral feud with Seven Star Island. Please persuade Island Master Lian not to cooperate with Mo Li!"
"In two months, it will be my father's fiftieth birthday. We lack nothing in our family, but my father's greatest passion is collecting rare and precious treasures. Dragon Heart Grass is a highly poisonous substance, yet it can also cure all poisons; it is a elixir that many people dream of," Lian Junqiu said calmly. "Miss Yue, just as Mo Li is determined to obtain your master, my father also has something he desires."
"As long as the island lord doesn't interfere, I'm willing to steal the Dragon Heart Grass from Paradise Valley for him!" Yue Ruzheng said decisively.
Lian Junqiu turned her head to look at her, as if an adult were sizing up a callow child: "Miss Yue, you are also Jiang Shuying's beloved disciple, how can you speak without thinking? Even your master, if he went to that paradise valley full of snakes and miasma, might not be confident of victory, let alone you?"
"I'll do everything I can!" Yue Ruzheng bit her lower lip, trying to make herself look tough.
A smile appeared on Lian Junqiu's originally serious face, but it was unclear whether she thought Yue Ruzheng was childish or amusing.
"You can ask Junchu what to do," Lian Junqiu leaned down and whispered to her, as if afraid that Tang Yanchu outside would hear.
Yue Ruzheng was taken aback: "Jun Chu?"
"His name is Lian Junchu," Lian Junqiu said, glancing at the closed door. "But he doesn't acknowledge that name."
Yue Ruzheng nodded blankly. Lian Junqiu was about to say something when Tang Yanchu called out from outside the door, "Big Sister."
Lian Junqiu responded, then put her hands behind her back and said to Yue Ruzheng, "He doesn't want me to talk to you anymore. You can stay here for now. The people of Bliss Valley know his identity and won't bother him anymore."
Having said that, she flicked her long sleeves, turned and walked away. Reaching the door, she opened it and said to the outside, "Jun Chu, come in."
