Kapitel 58

So, it was Yin Tianyu again! At this moment, I was completely unable to sort out my emotions. In our interactions, he was always the one giving, while I, without realizing it, became the one receiving. This feeling was somewhat sweet, but even more painful, not for myself, but for him; it hurt my heart. I knew guiltily that I wasn't a bad person, but I was definitely not good enough to deserve his sympathy.

I picked up the phone, thinking I should at least say thank you. Although I felt my excuse was a bit ridiculous, I still dialed the numbers one by one. Thank goodness, the line was busy! I let out a long sigh and quickly put the phone down.

On my computer's MSN, a name called "Autumn is here, let's go release pigeons together" was flashing. It took me about a minute for my mind to register that this was the person named "Runaway." After comparing several blogs, I still prefer Runaway's writing. Although I feel her blog style sometimes changes abruptly, overall it's closer to my ideal style. So I got her MSN from FIONA; I want to talk to her in person.

"Can we talk?" I asked.

"Mud is..."

“My colleague’s name is FIONA, and she’s been in contact with you before. My name is Li Hao, and I’d like to talk to you again.”

"Li Hao? Hahaha..." Mo Huo burst into laughter, which startled me.

"Is my name that funny?"

"No, no, I'm sorry. What do you want to talk about?"

"It's still about helping us write blog posts. I think while most writers don't like assigned topics, I absolutely believe the conditions we've proposed are attractive enough for a blogger."

"That's right, the conditions you've proposed are very generous, but unfortunately I can't use them."

"Why?"

"If I told you that the articles on my blog weren't my original works, would you sue me?"

"What?!"

"Forget it, Sister Li Hao, I'm DIDO."

DIDO?! Yin Tian and his quirky cousin?

I, I, I'm going crazy.

"DIDO? You brat, what are you doing? Are you trying to mess with me?"

"No, sister, I really didn't. Don't forget you guys found me, and you even said you really like my blog."

"I don't care, you're wrong for not telling me the truth right away! As a reward, you have to honestly tell me who wrote that blog?"

"Forget it, even Tianyu can't do anything with you, so I'd rather not compete with you. Don't say you two have no chemistry; the writer you're so persistently looking for is actually Tianyu, hehe, you didn't expect that, did you? I stole these diaries from his email. It's all because he accidentally filmed me when he was entering his password that time. After I got in, I found so many fun things, and it would be a shame not to post them. I just randomly wrote one or two entries to fill in when he wasn't writing, but I didn't expect it to escalate like this. Tianyu still doesn't know anything about it, so please don't tell him, or he'll beat me to death or sell me out. Thanks."

Petrochemicals.

"Why don't you like Tianyu anymore? I don't know what happened between you two. On the surface, Tianyu seems the same as usual, but I grew up with him. Tianyu can't lie to me. I know he's unhappy because you're unhappy."

"Does he have one? You're sure it's because of me? Doesn't he have a girlfriend?" My heart was pounding wildly in my left chest, and my mind was racing, trying to decipher DIDO's QQ chatter while desperately wanting to know the answer.

"ODBC!"

"What do you mean?" I asked, completely bewildered and ashamed.

"Oh, you big idiots! You two are both. Tianyu thinks you're with another man, and you think Tianyu has another woman. Sigh, heaven knows my brother's been single for so long just because of some clueless little idiot. Don't you know to read your cousin's diary?"

"No? He really didn't?"

"I really hope he does. If he did, he wouldn't be under pressure from your uncle to search for clues for you as soon as he found out your company was being complained about. If he did, he wouldn't be running all over the world to buy medicine for you when he heard your dad was sick, airlifting it over, and even colluding with the hospital to carefully keep it from you... In short, you two are just torturing each other and torturing us, the onlookers!"

"Does he know about the bet I made with Chairman Yin?"

"You're betting with my uncle? What are you betting on?" DIDO replied incredibly quickly, betraying her curiosity.

"Where is Yin Tianyu now?" I asked instead of answering, and I really couldn't see any good intentions in her curiosity.

"I boarded the plane an hour ago, and I'll be in Guangzhou in about an hour and a half."

Although Dido called me an idiot a few times, I was tightly, tightly gripped by a sudden, overwhelming feeling of happiness. This feeling of being held hostage by happiness was simply too wonderful, indescribable. Two more hours until I get to the airport; I need to see Yin Tianyu. Immediately! Right now!

Driven by this thought, I ran outside. I bumped into Shan Jie, who was startled: "Boss, what happened to you? Your mouth is all agape like that? Are you facial paralysis? Should we go to the hospital?"

"Don't block my way, I'm in a hurry to practice my swordplay, kid." I shoved him aside and kept running. Yes, I know that a wide grin like that doesn't look good, it's even a little scary, but I can't help it, because I know that from now on, besides the humid air of Guangzhou, love will undoubtedly nourish my future. Although I made so many mistakes before, today I still have a chance to start over, and God has truly been too kind to me.

I jumped into a taxi and sped towards the new airport. I couldn't calm my excited emotions. The persistence, suspicion, jealousy, and longing that had been festering in my heart for over a year crumbled in an instant, turning into a powerful force. As soon as I sat down, I started texting Yin Tianyu, one, two, three... I knew he wouldn't be able to see it because his phone was off on the plane, but I wrote and sent it like I had an obsessive-compulsive disorder. I laughed and cried at the same time. The driver kept secretly watching me in the rearview mirror, wondering if I had gone crazy. I handed him the fare plus the highway toll without missing a penny, and I clearly saw the driver secretly breathe a sigh of relief.

When I arrived at the airport, I realized that I had no idea where Yin Tianyu's flight originated or what flight he took, or even whether he came out from area A or area B.

Watching the crowds moving around me, I stood there, completely bewildered and dumbfounded. Suddenly, my phone rang.

"I saw your text message. Where are you?" Yin Tianyu asked loudly into the phone. How long had it been since she'd heard his voice on the phone? It felt like almost a hundred years.

I suddenly burst into tears.

"What's wrong? Where are you? Don't cry, I'm coming to find you, wait for me."

"No, you're always the one who finds me. This time, let me come find you." I shouted into the phone, ignoring the people coming and going around me and the tears streaming down my face.

“Okay, okay, whatever you say goes. I’m in B17, right by the roadside,” Yin Tianyu said hurriedly.

I then realized I was in Zone A. Logically, I should go up to the second floor and cross the pedestrian bridge, but I couldn't wait, so I turned and ran across. In the distance, I saw the sign for "B," which looked like a chubby angel smiling adorably. I ran like a madman, counting the exit numbers, and finally saw "17." Yin Tianyu's tall figure stood out so straight and clean in the crowd. His eyes scanned the crowd, and suddenly, as if sensing something, he turned his head to face me, meeting my eyes as I stood on the other side of the road. The sunlight suddenly shone brightly on his face, making him seem to radiate light. Yes, that was Yin Tianyu, my Yin Tianyu. My eyes couldn't leave his face; I only knew to approach him as fast as I could. We had both waited too long.

Suddenly, Yin Tianyu's face changed, and he charged towards me while yelling. Still immersed in my own joy, my reaction became unusually slow. By the time I realized a car was speeding towards me, I only had time to scream. With the screeching of the car's brakes, my body was pushed away by the powerful impact, and I fell straight to the ground. For a moment, there was a deathly silence around me. I looked up, and just three or four meters in front of me, Yin Tianyu lay on the ground in an unbelievable shape, like a rag doll broken by a mischievous child. Beneath him, bright red blood, like a venomous snake, slowly slithered out. I got up, took two steps, and fell to the ground with a thud. I got up again, fell again, and finally managed to crawl and roll to his side. Several humanoid figures also ran up and helped me turn him over, holding his head. I saw him slightly open his eyes, and his mouth move. I quickly leaned in and heard him say weakly, "I'm sorry, I can't protect you this time."

I shook my head desperately, "I love you, Yin Zaiyu, can you hear me? I love you." These words, which I once thought were as heavy as a thousand pounds, turned out to be so easy to say. I just hope it's not too late. Yin Tianyu grinned, trying to smile, but his eyes gradually dimmed.

"Someone help me! Please help me!" I shouted. Someone patted me on the shoulder and said, "Don't worry, we've already called the airport's emergency center. A doctor will be here soon."

I grabbed Yin Tianyu's hand and rubbed it hard, like I'd given him a shot of adrenaline. "Yin Tianyu, did you hear me? The doctor's coming right now. Open your eyes, okay? If you don't open them, I'll find a migrant worker and marry myself off! Please, open your eyes, okay? If you open your eyes, I'll give you all my money, please?"

Yin Tianyu opened his mouth with great effort, but spat out a glob of bloody foam. I was terrified and quickly wiped it away. Yin Tianyu struggled to grab my hand and said, "You've gotten thinner again." Then, suddenly, he shuddered and let go of my hand. I missed him, and all I saw was that hand that had once held me tightly in the car, in the sea, in good times and bad, in my dreams... now tracing a desperate arc in the air, falling with my hopes and happiness into the bottomless darkness.
