Perte de contrôle précise - Chapitre 39

Chapitre 39

Director Zhang immediately became agitated and told the young woman to pull over to the side of the road. He then switched places with her. While carefully fastening his seatbelt, he instructed the young woman to do the same. She was puzzled and said, "We're not in the city, why do I need to wear a seatbelt?" Although she said that, she still obeyed her boss's instructions.

Director Zhang was driving with one hand on the steering wheel, while turning his head to say to the back:

"Listen up! There was a woman who was going to a masquerade ball. She thought and thought, and finally came up with a brilliant plan: she stripped completely naked, wearing only black boots and black gloves, and arrived at the ball's entrance. The security guard at the gate was startled and said, 'Miss, I'm very sorry, but tonight is a masquerade ball. You can dress up as whatever you want, but you can't be naked.' The woman said, 'Can't you tell what I'm dressed up as? Look again!' The guard looked again and still shook his head. The woman said, 'Well, if you don't look at my most crucial part, of course you won't see—I'm dressed up as the five of spades!'"

The red-faced woman thought for a moment, then suddenly burst into laughter, tears streaming down her face.

The fair-skinned beauty hurriedly asked:

"What are you laughing at? What do you mean? I don't understand."

"You don't even understand something this simple? It's not like you don't understand it!"

As the red-faced woman spoke, she poked between her thighs with her hand.

The fair-skinned man said:

I still don't understand.

The red-faced woman said:

"Isn't there a spade growing there?"

The fair-skinned beauty said:

"So you're this bad! You're a natural at it!"

The young woman said:

"I was right, you guys have already gone astray even before you went!"

Director Zhang laughed heartily, and the blushing woman realized she had been tricked. She blushed even more, and finally said:

"That means you're even worse, you tricked me into falling into your trap."

Zhang Chu suddenly became smug and said loudly:

"Let's talk about it when we get there. Who knows who'll fall into whose trap then! I'll probably be the one falling into yours!"

At this point, everyone in the car, men and women alike, was extremely excited, and Director Zhang's very manly laughter became particularly loud.

Just then, the car entered a bend in the road, and a large truck came from the opposite direction. Seeing that they were about to collide, Director Zhang quickly turned the steering wheel to the right, and the car suddenly veered to the right, crossed the shoulder, drew a beautiful arc in the air, and plunged into the river.

When the car took off, the girl who had been sitting in the back without saying a word started crying:

"My mom said, 'Once you go there, don't even think about coming back...'"

It was around 2:05 PM.

The truck sped off toward the fork in the road like a whirlwind.

Within minutes, the river returned to calm, as if nothing had happened.

They set off at 7:00 AM and traveled for approximately seven hours and five minutes, or about 425 minutes, gradually approaching 2:05 PM, where they were to meet the truck. If they had arrived a few minutes later, they wouldn't have met it here. Of course, arriving earlier wouldn't have meant they would have met it either, but the chances of them meeting earlier were simply smaller.

The problem is that they didn't know they would encounter a large truck like this. If they had known, they would never have come out, even if you killed them.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention, that girl who sat in the back without saying a word suddenly emerged from the water. Strangely, out of the five men and women, she was the only one who couldn't swim at all, and she was sitting between the pale-faced and red-faced women. If she weren't still alive, how would we know what happened?

Story: The father is the soil beneath his daughter's feet

Now he can't tell himself whether all this wonderful thing really happened or if it was just a daydream. Maybe it wasn't even a daydream, but just a desire he could never fulfill?

Gradually, he felt that everything from his past was just a passing cloud, and everything, whether it had happened or not, had vanished like smoke. Now, for him, even just having a few more beautiful dreams was a rare treat. He could only yearn for a few more earthly dreams, because time was running out.

He didn't know if he had ever thought about camping in the mountains before. Now he wanted to go camping in the mountains, with his daughter and her mother. He liked going to roadside barbecue restaurants, but his daughter and her mother didn't want to go; he didn't want to go to fancy restaurants, even if he had money in his pocket. He couldn't afford a private room, and if he didn't go in a private room, he wouldn't dare face the men and women there, all red-faced, shouting, and eating raw seafood. More importantly, whenever he was in this city, in any place with people, and reunited with his daughter and her mother, he could only watch them silently, under the daytime sun, amidst the unrestrained noise and the unbridled gazes of people. He couldn't utter a single word he wanted to say; he didn't have the courage to speak to strangers.

He could no longer recall whether he had seen foreign families camping happily in a deserted forest on television or in a newspaper. He thought it must be very interesting, far away from the bustling and arrogant city and the rich and uncivilized crowds, with only his family together.

He seemed to have walked through many shops, probably looking to buy a cheap camping tent. Coincidentally, he rented one; although renting was expensive, it was still much cheaper than buying one. Perhaps he really wanted to rent a tent.

He chose a Friday and talked to his daughter and her mother well in advance, racking his brains to tell them the benefits of going camping in the countryside. Actually, he had already told his daughter to persuade her mother, but this time his daughter said he had given herself away because she said, "I've already asked around. Tomorrow's sunny, let's go!"

It seems he also prepared many snacks that the mother and daughter liked to eat.

He should have taken a car to the suburbs, but he carried the tent, food, and supplies all by himself. His daughter reached out to help him, but he refused, saying it was his duty as a father, a privilege and a blessing. He added that if he didn't do it now, he wouldn't be able to do it later.

There should certainly be a river there. They came to the riverbank at the foot of the mountain, or perhaps on the mountain below the river. He couldn't quite put his finger on it. Anyway, they chose a flat spot, a flat spot far from the hustle and bustle, and the three of them busied themselves setting up the tent.

It must have been daytime, definitely daytime. They were swimming and catching fish in the river below the mountain, but they hadn't caught a single one. All three of them had become children lured by the fish, drawn into a joyful chase. The whole family had never been so happy, shouting and laughing at the top of their lungs. The daughter and her mother were constantly arguing; the mother complained that her daughter was too noisy and scared the fish away, while the daughter said her mother was too slow and couldn't keep up, letting the fish escape. Well, there seemed to be quite a few people playing in the river, but none of them could shout, laugh, or cause as much trouble as this family. Watching the mother and daughter so happy from his vantage point, he realized that the most precious thing in his life was actually his daughter. Unfortunately, he thought, why didn't I understand this before? People always only understand this when they're about to lose something, but by then it's useless, utterly useless, and only makes the understanding more painful.

This realization turned into excruciating pain for him.

It seemed everyone who had gone out for vacation had gone home; the mountains were so quiet that only the birds were chirping, and the river was so still that only fish were swimming. He suddenly remembered something and said, "Let's hurry down the mountain and find a place to eat! If we wait until dark, there won't be any places left to eat!"

My daughter said, "What's the difference between eating at a restaurant and eating at home? It's boring!"

Her mom probably got carried away with her fun, because she actually said that it would have been great if we had brought a pot with us when we went out!

For some reason, he also started having wild ideas, saying that as long as you can cook, I can get the things back!

The mother and daughter agreed!

Suddenly emboldened, he forgot his fatigue and flew beneath the clouds, which disappeared into the mountains. Birds bloomed like flowers, and flowers sang like birds. He easily entered a farmer's house, rented an iron pot, and bought vegetables and fish. When he returned, carrying the goods on a cloud-like journey, he saw his daughter's eyes widen in amazement. She exclaimed, "Daddy, you're so amazing!" and hugged him, giving him a kiss.

A surge of warmth welled up in his heart; this was the first time his daughter had ever been so close to him. He turned away and secretly wiped away his tears.
