Once she had adjusted, Chi Cheng came out, got out of bed, stood by the bed, bent down, and lifted her out.
Shi Ling was lying on the bed with only her upper body on the bed, while he held her two long legs upside down in his hands.
He broke it open before putting it back in.
This time, even Chi Cheng himself let out a suppressed sigh.
Shi Ling's legs were dangling in the air, and she was always afraid that she would fall off the bed if he let go.
Moreover, this posture was inconsistent in depth and direction each time, and even the left and right sides were random, all depending on Chi Cheng's actions when he hit the stake. Although she could appreciate the fun in it, she still didn't like being completely controlled by him like this.
She frowned. "Can we not have this?"
Chi Cheng licked his lips. "That's not up to you."
He slowed down, carefully observing Shi Ling's expression, and quickly adjusted his strength, focusing on poking the spots that would make her eyelashes flutter.
Shi Ling felt a moment of shame, and she reached out and pinched his hard thigh, but it didn't affect Chi Cheng's interest.
Shi Ling was quickly drawn into his rhythm, experiencing the highs and lows, the depths and shallows of their relationship. She wondered where Chi Cheng's gentle demeanor during foreplay had gone. His eyes were filled with a desire to conquer her; her rises and falls, her ebbs and flows, were all under his control.
With her limited experience, she would only be defeated by Chi Cheng.
She remembered the scene when he carried her onto the motorcycle; it was the same way, she had to hold onto his clothes and lean on him to keep from falling off.
He seemed to particularly enjoy this feeling, which allowed her to rely on him completely.
Shi Ling slowly began to enjoy this feeling. She had always been proud, and so was Chi Cheng. He treated her with apparent calmness and composure, but in reality, he was very careful and never gave in first.
Therefore, when they truly blend together, they appreciate the wonderful feeling of their bond even more.
Shi Ling bit her lower lip as she looked at him. At the moment they reached their climax together, they were certain that in each other's eyes, they saw not only conquest, but also deep affection and longing.
Chi Cheng held her legs and panted for a while before carrying her back to the pillow.
He lowered his head and whispered in her ear, his low, husky voice making her eardrums resonate, "Shi Ling."
Shi Ling originally thought that after hearing his affectionate words, he was going to say something serious.
To everyone's surprise, Chi Cheng sighed, "I'm really hungry."
He rubbed his chin against Shi Ling's delicate cheek, and only then did Shi Ling realize that his usually clean-shaven chin was covered with a layer of stubble.
Shi Ling also felt like teasing him, so she reached out and touched his stubble, asking him, "Still not full?"
Chi Cheng released her, his eyes deep and unfathomable. "Shall we have another meal?"
Shi Ling then pushed him away.
The two casually put on hotel slippers and went downstairs.
While in the elevator, Shi Ling remembered the couple she had met on her way up.
When they arrived, they had just understood their intentions.
When they parted, they turned their feelings into a pool of water, which gradually seeped into the very bones of both of them.
They held hands again, just like a real couple, naturally and casually.
Shi Ling tightened her grip on his hand, suppressing the fleeting thought that crossed her mind.
It was only one night, but to her it felt like an eternity.
It's a complete turn of the page.
When Chi Cheng came out and saw the motorcycle, he remembered and spread his hands at Shi Ling, "My phone."
He called the motorcycle taxi driver and asked him to come and pick up the vehicle.
Shi Ling saw him standing by the roadside wearing slippers, looking at himself in the mirror on the motorcycle, smoothing his hair, and talking on the phone in Cantonese.
A slight smile involuntarily crept onto his lips.
Chi Cheng hung up the phone, but he kept looking at himself in the mirror.
Shi Ling stepped forward and poked him, "Then how are we going to get back?"
Chi Cheng smiled and said, "With me, you're not afraid of not being able to go back?"
When Chi Cheng returned her phone, he glanced at the call log, remembered something, and asked her with narrowed eyes.
"What was it about when you called me from Hong Kong that day?"
Shi Ling was stumped by his question and found herself unable to answer.
Seeing Chi Cheng's inquisitive look, she changed the subject she was about to say, and drew out her words, "I just booked an extra night and wanted to ask if you'd like to stay?"
Chi Cheng raised an eyebrow. "Really?"
Shi Ling retorted without backing down, "Regret it now?"
Chi Cheng had always known that beneath her cool and aloof exterior lay a lively and interesting person.
At this moment, I absolutely adore her undisguised charm and natural allure.
Chi Cheng lowered his head and approached her. Her eyes, filled with provocation, slowly became his reflection.
His kiss landed on her lips.
"I regret it so much."
Chapter 20
(Flashback)
Chi Cheng frowned and fumbled for his phone on the bedside table for a long time, then casually took it to the floor as soon as he found it.
The ringing bell stopped abruptly after ringing twice more.
Chi Cheng squinted and reached out to scoop it up.
He cleared his throat and dialed back.
Shi Ling asked him from the other end, "Are you up yet?"
Chi Cheng gave a perfunctory "hmm".
Shi Ling chuckled. She knew all too well whether Chi Cheng's voice sounded like he had just woken up or had been up for a while.
Upon hearing this, Chi Cheng stopped pretending and lazily lay back down on his pillow.
"Honey, can't you sleep a little longer before we go?"
Shi Ling's tone left no room for doubt: "No."
Chi Cheng struggled for a while before getting up to catch her.
He rarely left home so early. He hurriedly grabbed some bread and ate it as he walked. Even his mother was surprised and asked him if something was wrong with her son.
Chi Cheng gave a vague answer: no.
Since that day they revealed their relationship, Shi Ling enrolled in the exam preparation course, and so did he.
It's only been almost a week since I left class.
We agreed to go to the library to study today.
The two spent two days and nights partying in the hotel, and even Chi's mother called to ask why he hadn't come home for two days.
When Chi Cheng tried to brush it off, Shi Ling mischievously kissed his neck while he was on the phone. Chi Cheng held back until the veins on his neck stood out, but he managed to put on a nonchalant tone and said he would stay at his friend's house for two days.
After Chi Cheng hung up the phone, he pulled her into his arms.
"You're getting bolder and bolder these days."
Besides being affectionate, they would lie in bed and watch movies.
Shi Ling nestled in the blankets, her voice as soft and lazy as a cat's claws.
Unexpectedly, she asked him where the nearest library was, saying she wanted to write her graduation thesis for a few days, which coincided with Chi Cheng's IELTS preparation.
Shi Ling started her thesis last semester, and has been preparing for the postgraduate entrance exam and IELTS all along, writing two chapters intermittently. However, the deadline for submitting the thesis in June is fast approaching.
Chi Cheng originally wanted to invite her to Chimelong, but he couldn't refuse her, so he could only say that he would just find a university to use the library and classrooms.
Shi Ling could tell he was unhappy, so she comforted him, saying that once he passed the IELTS exam, the two of them could go out and have some fun together.
Chi Cheng was still thinking about what had just happened. While watching the movie, he held her soft, boneless hand in his own, his mind wandering.
He asked her slowly, "After I pass the IELTS exam, are there any other rewards?"
Shi Ling glanced at him, and when she saw him lick his lips, she knew what he was up to.
She asked knowingly, "What do you want?"
The two were already snuggled up in bed, and her question made the atmosphere ambiguous.
Chi Cheng pulled her close and whispered in her ear, "You stay on top for a bit."
His breath made her arms break out in tiny goosebumps. He softly murmured "Hmm?" as he took her earlobe into his mouth and kissed her.
Shi Ling gasped for breath and agreed.
**
A sliver of sunlight shone through the gap in the classroom curtains, casting long, orange-red shadows due to the setting sun.
The light shone on the book, and Chi Cheng twirled the pen again before it fell onto the table with a thud.
He stretched and glanced at Shi Ling.
She sat in front of the computer all day without showing any signs of fatigue.
Chi Cheng ruffled her hair and said softly, "I'm going out to play some ball to get some exercise."
Shi Ling gave a casual reply.
The basketball courts on campus are never deserted. Chi Cheng saw someone coming off the court and casually asked if he could play with him.
The boys were all casual; they exchanged glances and then tossed the ball to him.
Chi Cheng made the decision on a whim, without bringing anything with him. When he walked to the side during the break, beads of sweat were dripping from his forehead.
