Braut mit Geisteraugen 2 - Kapitel 10
The lights in room 407 were still off. In the dim moonlight, Xu Haibing could be seen lying on the bed, fast asleep. He hadn't taken off his clothes and was still clutching the rope in his hand, indicating that he had finally fallen asleep because he couldn't hold on any longer.
Soft footsteps echoed down the corridor, followed by what sounded like a light tap on the door…
Xu Haibing suddenly woke up subconsciously and leaned over to look at the door: another card appeared under the door!
He got up, picked up the card, and hurriedly opened the door.
The corridor was deserted, not a soul in sight...
Xu Haibing judged that the mysterious person delivering the advertising cards couldn't have gone far in such a short time, so he turned around, grabbed the bundle of rope, and chased after him. He ran downstairs in one breath, only to find that the exit was locked by a security door. He saw that the door to the guard room next door was ajar, so he gently pushed it open and went inside.
The duty room was empty, but a window was half-open. Xu Haibing figured the person delivering the advertising cards might have escaped through there, so he leaped out the window. But no sooner had his feet touched the ground than a heavy object suddenly pounced on him from behind, pinning him to the ground!
Xu Haibing immediately realized that the heavy object was a person, but the person was trapped underneath and could not move no matter how much they struggled. In a moment of inspiration, he swung the rope in his hand upwards, which happened to be around the neck of the person above. He then pulled down, forcing the person above to sit up and break free.
Xu Haibing took advantage of the moment to flip over and pin him down, then looked closely: the fat security guard!
He got up dejectedly, brushed the dust off his clothes, and complained, "You, you, you're more than capable of ruining things."
The chubby security guard struggled to his feet, pulled off the rope around his neck, and wailed, "Wow! Why does it feel so familiar?" He squinted and exclaimed, "Ah! Isn't this the one I lost? Well, you..."
Xu Haibing quickly covered his mouth and lowered her voice, "What are you shouting for?! It's the middle of the night. Did you see anyone come downstairs just now?"
The chubby security guard shook his head: "No. Oh, if anyone's been there, it'd be you. I rushed over as soon as I heard the noise. Let me tell you, with me here, it...it won't even get a mosquito..."
Xu Haibing suddenly covered the fat security guard's mouth again, listening intently—
There was a rustling sound overhead!
He nimbly stepped back a few paces, grabbed the flashlight from the fat security guard's sling, and shone it towards the rooftop.
The beam of light hit a head that was looking down and then immediately pulled back!
Xu Haibing caught sight of the man's dyed blond hair and immediately ordered the chubby security guard, "Quick, you go upstairs and chase after him, I'll flank him from behind!"
The chubby security guard shrank back: "I...I...you go upstairs, I'm afraid I'll get caught through the skylight again..."
"Okay, then hurry up and flank them from behind!" Xu Haibing said, jumping into the building through the window of the duty room.
The night wind whipped up wisps of dust from the rooftop.
Xu Haibing peeked out of the skylight and then climbed up.
The dark rooftops met the dark sky, and there was no one there.
Xu Haibing took a few steps forward, tripped over something, picked it up, and shone his flashlight on it.
A pair of smelly, sky-blue leather sneakers.
He took the shoes, ran to the northwest corner, and shone his flashlight down the old, withered locust tree, but he couldn't see anyone from the crown to the trunk.
Xu Haibing called out softly, "Hey, hey, you fat guy—are you there? Are you there? Are you there or not?"
The only response he received was the incessant chirping of insects…
Xu Haibing, who had turned back downstairs, jumped out of the duty room window again and ran towards the back of the building. When he reached the northeast corner, he was suddenly tripped by a pile of things and almost fell.
He steadied himself and shone his flashlight around.
The fat security guard was huddled up here.
Xu Haibing angrily grabbed him by the chest and demanded, "What are you good for?! If you're such a coward, afraid of even a person, then what's the point of wearing this uniform and acting all high and mighty?!"
The chubby security guard, with a dejected look, said, "I... I'm not actually afraid of people..."
Xu Haibing retorted, "Are you afraid of ghosts, not people?"
"Yes, yes, it's because I'm afraid of ghosts. I'm from this village to the west. When I was little, my great-grandfather told me that many people had hanged themselves under that old locust tree. It was common to see..."
What is it?
"A hanged ghost has appeared."
--! Shen Daxing was surfing the internet in his dormitory late at night when he suddenly turned his head and saw a hanging ghost with a long, blood-red tongue sticking out of the tree outside the window rushing towards him. He immediately fell to the ground and died!
The scene flashed before Xu Haibing's eyes, and he couldn't help but shudder. He quickly regained his composure and pulled the chubby security guard further inside: "I don't care if you're afraid of people or ghosts, the question now is, are you afraid of losing your job?!"
"I'm scared. They've even taken my watermelon field to build this awful university town. What am I going to eat if I don't go to work?"
Xu Haibing brandished the blue shoes in his hand at him: "See that? There's now ample evidence that an unidentified person is running around right under your nose, stuffing illegal flyers into every house. Whether you've shielded or condoned this, or let it go unchecked, you can't escape blame. If you want to keep your job, you have to catch this person, or you'll be in deep trouble."
The chubby security guard became anxious: "Then, what do you suggest I do?"
"Listen to me, let's atone for our crimes by following the trail. Tomorrow, go with me to the company that placed the ad, based on the address on the ad. We'll definitely find the person who posted it."

"Oh, okay, okay." The chubby security guard nodded first, then asked timidly, "What does the company do?" Xu Haibing took out the small card he had just picked up, shone his flashlight on it, and saw that the advertisement clearly read: "Seeking College Student Sperm!"

A commercial street full of cheap goods, with various shops lined up one after another, and all kinds of goods crammed from the shops onto the street. The shouts of vendors and the music to attract customers rose and fell in a noisy cacophony.
Xu Haibing, accompanied by a chubby security guard dressed casually, searched for the company's address on the street, referring to the address on the business card advertisement.
The chubby security guard, his mind wandering, heard a tenor's soulful singing drifting from a clothing store: "Yeliya, mysterious Yelia, Yeli Yelia..." Confused, he scratched his crew-cut head: "Why sing 'Wild Donkey' of all things?"
Xu Haibing didn't understand: "What do you mean by 'wild donkey and blind horse'?"
"Listen," the chubby security guard hummed casually, "Wild donkey, crazy wild donkey, wild donkey, wild donkey..."
Xu Haibing was exasperated: "Ugh, you've got a screw loose on your ear! Stop messing with your eyes, hurry up and find it!"
The chubby security guard tried to concentrate, checked a few house numbers, and then stopped in front of a music and video store. The walls were covered with televisions playing a high-energy music video, in which a busty stunner was grinning and shouting incoherently, "...you are my sister, you are my baby!...", looking incredibly alluring.
The chubby security guard stared, drooling. Xu Haibing came over and angrily dragged him away. As he left, he didn't forget to tell the hot girl on the screen:
"I'm not your sister, nor your uncle, I'm your chubby sweetheart!"
The two of them searched around in a daze and finally found a "Hao Zai Lai Hotel".
The two hesitated before entering the greasy and dirty hotel. Xu Haibing pointed to a business card and asked a security guard dozing on a sofa, "Does this company also have offices here?"
"In the last courtyard." The security guard pointed behind him, then continued dozing off.
Xu Haibing walked inside and turned back to see the chubby security guard still examining the other man's uniform sleeve. He pulled him aside. The chubby security guard explained, "I'm checking why their uniform material is different from ours."
The two walked through a bloody courtyard where chickens and sheep were being slaughtered and flies were swarming. They saw a sign next to a gate that read "Shanghai Renci Hospital Reproductive Assistance Research Institute, Lianhe Branch". They exchanged glances and cautiously went inside.
Inside the courtyard was a small gray building with its glass door closed. Xu Haibing gestured to the chubby security guard to knock on the door, and the chubby security guard gestured to Xu Haibing to knock on the door.
Xu Haibing had no choice but to knock on the door himself. After a long time without any response, the fat security guard turned around and tried to slip away, but Xu Haibing held him firmly.
As the two were struggling, the curtain behind the glass door was lifted, and a male doctor in a white coat peered at them through the glass with a sly look and a cold, calculating gaze.
Xu Haibing quickly showed him the card.
The glass door opened, and the male doctor leaned out to block it: "Where did you find this?"
Xu Haibing reported back: "Lianjiang University, a blond guy introduced us here."
The male doctor glanced at the chubby security guard, somewhat suspiciously: "Is he a college student too?"
"Yes, yes, from the Physical Education Department, a top athlete, enjoying vice-provincial level treatment." Xu Haibing said, winking at the chubby security guard, who quickly cooperated by doing a few bodybuilding moves.
The male doctor, still somewhat suspicious, slipped aside to let them into the building, and continued questioning them: "Do you have ID?"
"Yes, yes, how could someone of our status not have..." The chubby security guard said, reaching for his bag, when Xu Haibing gave him a hard twist on his thick buttocks. The chubby security guard grinned and quickly changed his tune: "Oh, I forgot to bring it."
Have you ever had any illnesses?
"No, how could someone be so fat and strong if they were sick..." Xu Haibing said, patting the fat security guard's round belly.
"And what about you?"
"I've won everything—gold medals, beautiful women, scholarships—but I've never been sick."
"Even if you had it, you wouldn't have told me." The male doctor knocked on the workbench, and a young female nurse with makeup that looked like a puppet stood up and handed over two forms.
The male doctor handed the forms to the two men: "First, register. Each of you pay a 50 yuan deposit. Then, go to the back to have your samples taken for testing. If you pass, you'll have a blood test to see if you have HIV or anything like that. If you're both healthy, we'll sign an agreement."
Xu Haibing tried to brush it off: "Actually, we were just asked by our classmates to come and take a look beforehand, to familiarize ourselves with the procedures. We weren't prepared to come today..."
The male doctor immediately asked him to leave: "Please go ahead, but hurry back to where you came from. This is a medical research area; unauthorized personnel are not allowed to linger."
Xu Haibing feigned humility and pleaded, "Let us go in and take a look, to find out what's going on..."
The male doctor impatiently shoved them out: "No, no, didn't you see the sign says 'No Trespassing'? Go, go..."
Seeing that he was about to be shoved out the door, Xu Haibing had no choice but to let the fat security guard go first, pushing him forward: "Then he... he'll take the sample first."
The chubby security guard was about to refuse, but seeing Xu Haibing winking and making faces at him, he had no choice but to swallow his anger and reluctantly complete the procedures of filling out the forms and paying the deposit.
The male doctor gestured to the female nurse to take the overweight security guard upstairs. The female nurse came out from her work station, carrying a clear plastic cup, a pair of thin, transparent gloves, and a stained magazine, and beckoned the overweight security guard to follow her upstairs.
Xu Haibing tried to follow, but the male doctor stopped her: "No, you can't go up there. No loitering." Xu Haibing made an excuse: "He's timid and inexperienced. I'll go help him."
The male doctor grabbed her hand and wouldn't let go. Xu Haibing took out a banknote and stuffed it into the pocket of his white coat before breaking free and going upstairs.
The nurse led the chubby security guard to a room at the end of the second-floor corridor. Opening the door, she expressionlessly told him, "Sir, this is the sampling room. Please go in and handle the samples yourself." She handed the security guard a plastic cup, thin gloves, and a soiled magazine, then turned and left.
The chubby security guard, holding the item, didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Seeing Xu Haibing following him, he quickly pushed it to him.
Xu Haibing ushered the chubby security guard into the house: "Let's make this a real show! You stay here and handle things a little longer, wait for me to come back."
Where are you going?
"Go find that blond kid who delivers ads for you." Xu Haibing closed the door and ran away.
The chubby security guard looked at the dirty single bed in the sampling room and the thin, transparent gloves and wads of toilet paper scattered on the floor. He sniffed the unique smell in the air and felt nauseous. But when he flipped through the magazine and saw the soiled pages, his eyes lit up...
QQ Lost, Chapter 17 (2)
Xu Haibing was checking each door in the corridor. He first peeked through the glass door of a room with one eye, then quietly turned the lock on another door. As soon as he poked his head in, a woman screamed from inside!
He hurriedly closed the door and slipped up to the third floor, thinking that the room was probably undergoing repair surgery.
Xu Haibing tiptoed to the third floor and saw a sign above a door that read "Medical Department." He peered through the glass of the door, then quickly hid behind a corner.
The door to the medical office opened, and a young man with dyed blond hair, wearing an old jacket and ripped jeans walked out, head down, counting the advertising cards he had just received.
Xu Haibing was secretly delighted and began to stalk the turtle.
And so, Huang Mao skipped and hopped along the winding stairwells connecting to the hotel, with Xu Haibing following behind, dodging and weaving.
Suddenly, the blond-haired man bent down to tie his shoelaces, but his head peered through his crotch—
Caught off guard, Xu Haibing hurriedly turned his head, his nose hitting the window frame.
