Chapter 151

"What is it?" Qin Chu asked, looking at him.

Levi opened his mouth, seemingly unsure of what to say. He turned his head and clicked his tongue before saying, "Yesterday... I heard you went to the stadium. I didn't go, so I didn't know you were coming to see me, so..."

He hesitated for a while before coughing lightly, then said, "Don't go into the stadium alone anymore, it's dangerous. If you want, you can..."

"stop."

Qin Chu interrupted Levi and casually struggled to break free of the alpha's restraints.

He remembered what Ross had said in the dorm earlier that day, and now he understood.

Yesterday, he tried to take a shortcut by walking directly through the stadium, but the onlookers mistook him for someone going to see Levi.

"First, I wasn't looking for you yesterday; it was just the shortest route through the stadium."

"Secondly, the stadium may be dangerous for other Omegas, but it's not for me. I can go there whenever I want."

After saying all this, Qin Chu looked at Levi and asked, "Is there anything else? I'm going to the studio."

"……there is none left."

Seeing Qin Chu break free of his wrist, a faint look of helplessness and embarrassment flashed across the alpha's handsome face.

He had completely shed his former arrogance and unruliness, and now looked like a wolfhound with its head drooping and ears hanging low.

Qin Chu didn't turn back and walked straight towards the glass door.

The teaching building where the art studio is located is closed off; only students from the Academy of Fine Arts are allowed to enter, and Alpha is strictly prohibited from entering.

Qin Chu stood in front of the door, touched his shirt pocket, and breathed a sigh of relief only after confirming that he had his access card.

He rushed out of the dormitory and thought the visitor was a repairman. He never expected it to be Levy, who put on such a big show.

Luckily, I didn't take the card out of my coat yesterday.

Swipe your card, enter the building, and walk into the teaching building.

Throughout these actions, Qin Chu restrained himself from turning around.

But Qin Chu soon sensed that something was wrong.

An aura followed closely behind, its presence palpable, like a shadow.

The lingering smell of blood in my nose never dissipated.

Before getting on the elevator, Qin Chu finally looked back.

As expected, he saw the alpha following him into the teaching building.

"Why are you following me? Alphas are not allowed in this area."

Qin Chu was a little annoyed and squinted at the person behind him.

Seeing his expression, the military academy student, who had previously looked dejected, couldn't help but smile.

But seemingly afraid that Qin Chu would get even angrier, Levi quickly stopped laughing, leaving only a glint of light in his eyes.

He pointed upstairs and reminded him, "Senior, the results of today's model selection are out. The selected models will naturally go to the studio."

Following his gaze, Qin Chu noticed many pairs of figures along the spiral staircase, their black and blue uniforms standing out conspicuously in the building.

Awkward.

Just as Levy had assumed that he went to the stadium to see him, Qin Chu now also misunderstood that this person came in to follow him.

Levy's misunderstanding was not without reason, given the many people gossiping about it.

Qin Chu, however, felt that he was being delusional.

Putting his unease aside, Qin Chu nodded casually and pressed the elevator button.

After pressing the button, he suddenly regretted it.

Judging from this, Levy clearly had no intention of taking the stairs.

Elevators, being narrow and enclosed spaces, are not ideal for alphas and omegas.

But having already pressed the button, Qin Chu quickly felt relieved.

Anyway, he doesn't have pheromones.

Levy clearly used concealer, so the lingering smell of blood wasn't a problem.

The elevator doors opened, and Qin Chu stepped inside first, pressing the button for his floor.

Levy also came in, and clearly didn't intend to press the floor button.

Qin Chu was somewhat surprised, not expecting that the person who ultimately chose Levi as a model would be on the same floor as him.

I just don't know which one it is, Omega or beta.

Qin Chu subconsciously tried to guess, but found that he had been living like a socially anxious person lately, and didn't even know his neighbors on the same floor.

The elevator slowly ascended.

Presumably out of concern for the generally weak constitution of Omegas, the elevator moved at a snail's pace.

It's better to take the stairs; it only takes two steps and less than two minutes to get up.

A tall alpha stood in the narrow space. Even though the alpha was quiet and had sprayed pheromone masking agent, its presence was still undeniable.

Qin Chu even felt that Levi's breathing was echoing all around him, eventually reaching his ears, and perhaps even amplifying it.

Forcing himself to ignore the lingering smell of blood at the tip of his nose, Qin Chu began to let his thoughts wander.

With so many people choosing Levi, the one who was ultimately matched with him was practically the chosen one.

I wonder if the other art students will start fighting after they find out the result.

In those few minutes, Qin Chu had almost figured out everything he wanted to draw that day.

He was staring blankly with a serious expression, but the alpha beside him, who had been quiet all along, couldn't help but speak up.

Levi's expression was hesitant and somewhat puzzled, and he glanced at Qin Chu's nape: "Senior, your pheromones..."

"What?" Qin Chu looked at him.

The elevator doors opened at that moment, and Levi's Adam's apple bobbed slightly, but he just smiled and said, "It's nothing."

Qin Chu didn't take it seriously and walked out of the elevator toward his studio.

His journey with Levi came to an end. He went to find his painter, and Qin Chu also wanted to check the competition system's random selection of his artists.

After walking for a while, with his hand already on the doorknob, Qin Chu suddenly felt something was wrong again.

That ever-present presence still lingered behind him.

Qin Chu pinched the doorknob, took a deep breath, and turned around.

He looked at the alpha following him like a ghost, suppressed the throbbing nerves on his forehead, and asked with a blank face, "Can't you find where your studio is? If you don't know, go ask your artist."

Levi looked at him and burst out laughing unexpectedly.

Alpha seemed to have been holding back all the way, but now that he started laughing, he couldn't stop.

A deep, slightly mischievous laugh echoed through the soundproofing of the corridor. The tall man in the military academy uniform laughed so hard that his hair trembled, and he reached out and braced himself against the door of Qin Chu's studio.

After laughing to himself for a while, Levi finally looked up at Qin Chu's bewildered gaze.

His blue eyes were completely filled with laughter: "Senior, haven't you been looking at the notice?"

"What notification?"

Qin Chu had a bad feeling.

He didn't look at it, because he left his personal computer in the studio for the past two nights.

Levi coughed twice to suppress his laughter, straightened up, and gave Qin Chu a military salute: "Let me formally introduce myself. I am Levi, and I will be assisting you with the competition in the next stage. We will be in frequent contact in the coming period. Please forgive me if I offend you, senior."

A snap.

After the pitiful cabinet in the dormitory, General Qin accidentally broke the doorknob of the art studio again.

After staring at the broken doorknob in Qin Chu's hand for a while, Levi blinked twice.

Whether the person was frightened or not, Qin Chu had no time to care anymore.

He turned to look at Levi and said, "Impossible. I chose the random option. You are one of 297 art students to be selected. You won't be matched with me."

Alpha didn't answer Qin Chu immediately. He blinked twice and a mischievous smile appeared on his lips: "Senior, can you tell me first why you remember the number 297 so accurately?"

Qin Chu cursed under his breath, then turned and threw the doorknob into the trash can: "Because I have a good memory."

With that, he twisted the door open with his fingers and quickly went inside, leaving only his head looking at Levi outside: "Something must have gone wrong. You're not the model I chose."

After saying this, Qin Chu slammed the door shut.

He bent down and pulled the personal computer out of the box, logged into the competition system, and sure enough, saw several unread messages.

Clicking on the earliest one and scanning it from beginning to end, Qin Chu immediately covered his forehead and kicked over the wastepaper basket next to him.

When Qin Chu saw the number of art students who chose Levi, he immediately realized that this model selection would be a bloodbath.

In order to avoid being caught in the bloodshed, Qin Chu specifically chose random, waiting for the system to match him with a military academy student that no one else had chosen.

Qin Chu never expected that this random option would also be affected.

This system message is intended to notify of rule changes:

During the matching process between models and illustrators, due to the large number of multiple-choice situations, the selection rules have been improved. Military academy students now have the right to choose the other side, and a match can only be successful if both parties select each other.

In other words, because of Levy alone, a large number of art students are facing the dilemma of "being reassigned".

To address this issue, the competition system directly changed the rules. The original system of artists selecting models was replaced by models and artists selecting each other, making it increasingly resemble a matchmaking event.

Qin Chu did not choose Levy.

But by sheer bad luck, he chose the random option, which means that whoever chooses him will succeed.

Qin Chu sat at the table, propped his forehead with one hand, closed his eyes, and held his breath for a long while.

At that moment, he really wanted Noah to hack this damn competition system.

Fortunately, Qin Chu still retained some rationality.

He straightened up, rubbed his temples, and then looked at the other unread messages.

There is also a remedy: since the artist and the model need to work out together, the artist has the right to refuse and change the model once before the first submission of the second stage.
