Les fantômes de l'ancien tombeau - Chapitre 2
As night falls, I awaken once more. A thousand years of sorrow is my only love. I am a vampire. My love, my only love, is loneliness. I am a vampire, my lover, where are you? My love can no longer be hidden. Let me drink your blood. I am a vampire. My love is to bite you. I am a vampire. My love is to make you a vampire.
The song, sung by Sophie, conveyed endless sorrow, and a tear slowly welled up in her eye and rolled down her cheek.
In a corner of the lobby, a man and a woman were talking. "Master, why did you bring me here? Do you also like the Vampire Band?" "Stop talking nonsense. I'm here for work, of course. Someone offered me a high price to take care of these zombies." "It's vampires, Master," the crew-cut man couldn't help but interject. *Bang!* The woman, wearing a purple top and a purple miniskirt, raised her hand and slapped the crew-cut man on the head. Anyone who's seen "My Date with a Vampire" will definitely guess who these two are. One is Ma Xiaoling, the descendant of the Ma clan of exorcist dragons, and the other is her unlucky apprentice, Jin Zhengzhong. The band's performance ended after three hours, and the fans gradually dispersed. The band returned to their lodgings—the Bauhinia Grand Hotel.
Inside one of the rooms, he said, "George, I've told you so many times, don't cause trouble in public places. Look at how many people you've killed along the way."
"Sophie, I know you don't like me, but you should know what we are. We are vampires, and drinking other people's blood is a matter of course."
"Could you find a quiet place? I'm warning you, if you continue like this, don't blame me for being impolite."
Sophie stared coldly at George, her eyes filled with murderous intent. Mike, one of the band members, seeing things were about to escalate, quickly tried to smooth things over. "George, say less. Sophie's only looking out for you. If everyone's identities are exposed, it won't benefit anyone." "Hmph, you're all like this. Don't you guys drink blood? Okay, I'm not talking to you anymore. I'm going to find my prey. Bye." "You'd better die soon," Sophie cursed fiercely. Sophie always said this during their arguments, but it never came true. The others were used to their bickering and didn't take it seriously. If they knew this curse had actually come true, who knows how they would feel.
In a dark alley, a man and a woman were engaged in primal passion. The man, with his blond hair, was vaguely visible. They were tightly entwined, his hand slipping inside the girl's shirt, roaming freely. It finally rested on her breast, while his other hand unbuttoned her jeans, teasing her genitals with practiced ease. The girl's breath came out, emitting seductive moans. The blond man pulled down the girl's panties and thrust his enormous penis into her, beginning his instinctive thrusting. Just as their passion reached its peak, the man threw his head back, his eyes turning a sinister red, and long fangs sprouted from his mouth as he bit down hard on the climaxing girl.
"Stop!" A sharp shout shattered the tranquility of the night alley, followed by the crisp sound of a gunshot. Strangely, the blond man who had been shot didn't fall; instead, he nonchalantly stuck out his tongue, seemingly savoring something delicious. "You lowly human, how dare you disturb my good time! I'll teach you a lesson!" With that, he charged at the shooter with a speed beyond human comprehension, punching him flying. After a moment, the fallen man slowly stood up, clenched his fists, let out a low growl, and long fangs sprouted from his mouth. Just then, a clear voice rang out beside him: "Lin, Bing, Dou, Zhe, Jie, Zhen, Lie, Zai, Qian, Zhu Xie." A golden dragon appeared out of nowhere, rushing towards the blond man. It passed right through his body. The blond man, impaled by the golden dragon, disintegrated into fragments of light and vanished into the night sky.
This was Kuang Tianyou and Ma Xiaoling's first encounter after their rebirth, and from then on, their story began.

Chapter Two: The Zombies Return
Author: Xiao Tianyi
Chapter Two: The Zombies Reappear. Kuang Tianyou seemed stunned by everything he saw. After a while, he turned around and saw Ma Xiaoling and Jin Zhengzhong not far from him. Memories he wanted to forget forever suddenly rushed into his mind. Scenes from sixty years ago seemed to have happened yesterday. The girl in his memory bore a striking resemblance to the girl before him. The same golden dragon, the same face—Kuang Tianyou couldn't tell whether it was a memory or reality.
"Who are you people?" Kuang Tianyou asked.
"Then who are you?" Kim Jung-jung retorted defiantly.
"My name is Kuang Tianyou, and I am a police officer. This is my police ID."
"My name is Jin Zhengzhong, and this is my beautiful master, Ma Xiaoling, a descendant of the renowned Ma clan of the Exorcist Dragon Clan." Ma Xiaoling turned her gaze to Kuang Tianyou's face, suddenly feeling a strange sensation, as if she had known this man for a long time—no, it should be described as a deeply ingrained feeling left over from countless lifetimes and reincarnations. Little did she know that Kuang Tianyou was even more shocked when he first saw her. "We seem to have met somewhere before?" Kuang Tianyou suddenly blurted out. Before Ma Xiaoling could answer, Jin Zhengzhong interrupted, "Come on, don't be so old-fashioned when trying to pick up girls. This kind of tactic is outdated, buddy."
"Zhengzhong, let's go." Ma Xiaoling instinctively felt she shouldn't have anything to do with the man in front of her, so she turned and left. The night breeze gently blew her hair, making her slender figure even more captivating in the darkness.
“Miss Ma, please wait a moment.” For some reason, Kuang Tianyou didn’t want Ma Xiaoling to leave like this. Ma Xiaoling stopped and turned around to ask, “Is there anything else?” Kuang Tianyou quickly came up with a solution and said, “Please go to the police station to give a statement.”
"Do you think they'll believe what you and I saw—a zombie biting someone to death. You'll have to write your own statement. Here's what we'll do: call me if you need anything. Just so you know, it's not cheap." He casually handed over a business card.
The next day, major newspapers published headlines such as "Unidentified female corpse found in alley at night, suspected to be the work of a zombie" and "Teenager tragically killed, with zombie bite marks on her neck." For a time, the whole of Hong Kong was talking about this news.
The members of the Vampire Band at the Bauhinia Grand Hotel were also reading the newspaper. "Sophie, what do you think?" Mike, one of the band members, asked. "You know, I've always been against George being so flamboyant, but he never listens. Now look what's happened, such a big mess. And he's nowhere to be seen." Just then, the receptionist called. "Miss Sophie, two police officers want to see you, saying it's related to some case." "Please have them come to my room." After a while, Kuang Tianyou appeared before them. "Miss Sophie, I'm sorry to bother you so early. I believe you've seen today's newspaper. We received a tip that George from your band was at the scene of the incident, so we'd like to have a chat with him to see if he can help us solve the case. May I ask which one of you is Mr. George?" "Sorry, George is out on personal business right now, and we don't know where he is. How about this, if he returns, I'll call the police station." Seeing that there was no result, Kuang Tianyou had no choice but to leave.
"Find George as soon as possible, no matter what method you use," Sophie, her face ashen, gave the order from inside the room.
Night always falls quickly. The calm sky had somehow turned gloomy, and a sense of impending storm hung heavy in the sweltering air. Perhaps this was going to be a turbulent night. Sophie stood by the window, unable to suppress this thought. She always had a bad feeling that something terrible would happen tonight, just like that night many years ago. Thinking of this, Sophie was still filled with fear. The horrific scene from years ago resurfaced in her mind: the terrifying castle, the roaring sea, and the lightning that occasionally ripped across the night sky. "No!" Sophie screamed, clutching her hair. For over 400 years, she still couldn't escape that terrifying dream. That nightmarish image always appeared in her dreams, and she knew she could never escape this terrible fact. If she had a choice, she truly wished she could die then, so that she wouldn't have to suffer these hundreds of years. Perhaps it was time for everything to end.
Just then, the door was suddenly kicked open, and Mike rushed in holding a letter. "Something's wrong, Sophie, something's happened to George. Look at this." Sophie quietly read the letter, her face expressionless. "Tell Niru and Qiang to prepare to go to St. John's Cathedral at midnight tonight. We're going to see who dares to mess with us."
