022 Spot the Difference

Mu Yunhe gave a sinister laugh: "What? What, have you forgotten what you just said? Or are you simply unwilling to serve me, and you were just deceiving my mother?"
Mu Yunhe's expression was too strange, with a hint of ferocity in his eccentricity, as if he would immediately snap Luo Zhiheng's neck if she dared to nod.
Hold on! You must hold on! Luo Zhiheng really wanted to punch Mu Yunhe and smash his beautiful high nose! Is it fun to cause trouble for no reason? She'll hold back for now, since you and your mother will be her protectors from now on. Once she finds a way to escape without any worries, she'll see how she deals with you.
"How could I lie? I'm telling the truth. So, should we eat first or take the medicine first?" Luo Zhiheng's smile was a little fake, but then she thought that she had to serve him well later so that she could go to the princess to ask for credit and at least change the bad impression she had of him.
"Wipe yourself first," Mu Yunhe said coldly.
Luo Zhiheng choked. The servants immediately brought over two basins of water and two dry towels, while the others stood still.
Mu Yunhe gestured for her to hurry, and Luo Zhiheng gave a few forced laughs, then wet and wrung out a handkerchief before handing it to him. Mu Yunhe mocked, "Is this your way of serving? Shouldn't you be the one personally wiping my entire body? Don't you want to?"
Luo Zhiheng almost threw the cloth in his face. Did he have no shame? A grown man letting a woman wipe him down? But she had to endure it; so many eyes were watching. She said dryly, "Then take your clothes off."
"Take it off for me," Mu Yunhe said matter-of-factly.
"Why should I? Don't you have hands?" Luo Zhiheng couldn't help but retort. This man was really pushing his luck.
Mu Yunhe's gaze suddenly darkened: "I have hands, but my hands are weak. Now that you are my wife, you will be my hands and feet. You will do everything I need to do. Remember, you have no right to resist!"
You son of a bitch!
Luo Zhiheng almost swore out her second uncle's classic slang. She felt a tightness in her chest; he was too good at finding fault! She comforted herself, thinking, "I'll endure it for now. A gentleman takes revenge even after ten years. Let's see how long Mu Yunhe can be so arrogant. Sooner or later, the tables will turn."
She tossed aside the cloth and reached out to unbutton Mu Yunhe's clothes. The buttons were very complicated and difficult to undo. Her delicate fingertips started to ache after undoing just a few buttons. She frowned, her face showing impatience, but she was very serious.
Seeing her like this, Mu Yunhe's eyes turned icy cold. He had originally thought that marrying a woman would allow them to live a peaceful life without interfering with each other, but Luo Zhiheng had shocked him too much. She was so radiant, and a surge of impulse coursed through his heart—an impulse to 'have her suffer with me'—a fatal allure that he couldn't resist!
He was so lonely and exhausted. Her appearance gave him a feeling he had never experienced before: his peaceful life was about to be disrupted. He might take her with him on his dark journey, letting her share his loneliness and pain. It seemed that way he wouldn't have to wait alone for death, silently enduring the agony until dawn!
The warm touch brought Mu Yunhe back to his senses. He lowered his eyes, and his ear tips gradually turned red. The woman's breath sprayed onto his unbuttoned chest!

023 Arguing
Updated: 2013-06-06 20:01:20 Word Count: 1533
"Get away!" Mu Yunhe didn't like people touching his body so intimately, so he suddenly reached out and pushed Luo Zhiheng.
Luo Zhiheng wouldn't normally be pushed over by a weak person, but she was focused on unbuttoning her clothes and was completely unprepared. Suddenly pushed, she fell to the ground, knocking over two basins of water and getting herself soaked and in a sorry state.
Mu Yunhe was also taken aback, his eyes flickered for a moment, and then he remained expressionless once again.
Luo Zhiheng was furious. She scrambled to her feet, stomping her foot on the bed with the aura of a bandit and the posture of a fighter. Pointing at Mu Yunhe, she roared, "Are you crazy?! What did I do to you? I did everything you asked, and you still dare to hit me? Don't think I'm afraid of you just because you have someone backing you up!"
He's so energetic and lively again!
Mu Yunhe's lingering guilt vanished instantly, replaced by a sinister laugh: "You're right, I am indeed ill, terminally ill! You might be a widow tomorrow. It's truly your own fault for insisting on marrying into this family. Don't you think you provoked me? Since you insisted on marrying into this family, you'll have to endure everything. If you can't bear it, then die!"
His sharp tongue was completely hidden beneath his frail and stunning appearance; when it finally erupted, it startled everyone.
The servants' jaws nearly dropped. When had the young prince ever spoken so much in one breath? When had he ever had such a sinister expression? He didn't want anyone to worry or grieve for him, so he always maintained a cheerful, mischievous demeanor. But he didn't realize that his feigned nonchalance only made them feel more distressed.
Today, the young prince broke the rules time and time again, letting them know that it wasn't that he didn't like to talk, but that he usually had nothing to say! They then looked at the furious Luo Zhiheng, never expecting that this woman, who had just married into the family, had already given the young prince a bit of energy!
Luo Zhiheng's temper flared up. When had she, a dignified female bandit, ever suffered such humiliation? In a fit of rage, she thought, "I'm not serving you anymore!" Soaked to the bone, she kicked over the copper basin on the ground, splashing water everywhere from her violent turn. With unwavering spirit, she roared, "So be it! Serving a troublesome creature like you is worse than dying and being reborn!"
"Princess, please calm down!" The servants were terrified. Xiao Xizi tried to stop him but failed. With a mournful face, she pleaded with Mu Yunhe, "My ancestor, you've just gotten married and you're already asking your bride to die. If the princess finds out, she'll be furious. Even if you don't think about yourself, you should think about the princess!"
Mu Yunhe's chest heaved with rage. He regretted uttering the words "go die" as soon as they left his lips, but taking them back was impossible. That idiot Luo Zhiheng—if she had just softened her tone and said something nice, he would have calmed down. Yet she dared to defy him. Mu Yunhe laughed coldly, "Shut up! Let her die! Nobody stop her! If she doesn't know where the well is, tell her so she can hurry up and reincarnate!"
Luo Zhiheng had already walked into the courtyard when she heard his words. She stopped in her tracks, slapped her forehead, and was secretly annoyed: "Idiot! What's wrong with me that I'm getting angry? If I make him die of anger, I won't be any better off. Besides, why should I die just because he tells me to? I won't!"
Luo Zhiheng returned to the room with her eyes blazing with anger. Mu Yunhe was coughing angrily, but he stopped coughing when he saw her. A strange light flashed in his deep eyes.

024 A Woman Who Is Different

"Princess, let this servant help you change your clothes." The servants breathed a sigh of relief when they saw her return.
Luo Zhiheng smiled broadly, as if the argument just now hadn't been real. She softly instructed, "No need, let's serve the young prince first. Go and fetch another basin of water."
The servants were astonished that Luo Zhiheng, rumored to be capricious and arrogant, could actually swallow her anger as if nothing had happened. They couldn't help but begin to doubt the rumors.
Soon the water was brought, and this time Luo Zhiheng calmly wiped Mu Yunhe's body. Her movements were not vengeful at all, and although they were not gentle, they were very comfortable. She did not treat Mu Yunhe as lightly as a glass doll. She did not argue with Mu Yunhe, and Mu Yunhe also became surprisingly quiet, just watching her wipe his body without changing his expression.
Face, neck, chest, arms, abdomen, back...
Little by little, she seemed very focused when she was doing something seriously. The force she applied was neither too light nor too heavy, but Mu Yunhe's body could no longer withstand too much friction. Gradually, it started to hurt him, but he didn't lose his temper. This little pain was nothing to him; at least it gave him the feeling that he was still alive. That feeling warmed his heart for no reason.
The servants always handled him with utmost care, as if he were truly fragile enough to break at the slightest touch. Although they knew it was for his own good, his pride was still burdened by a strong sense of inferiority. Little did they know that their careful protection was, in a silent and intangible way, a reminder to this patient that he was dying, that he was about to pass away…
Thus, he was constantly surrounded by death and despair from all sides!
Mu Yunhe didn't know what other women were like. Apart from his two head maids and family members, he had never seen what other women looked like. But he thought that Luo Zhiheng had none of the modesty and shyness that women should have. She could take off her clothes and sleep in front of a strange man without any hesitation, and she could wipe a man's body without changing her expression. Even though he was her husband, they had only known each other for a day. Wouldn't she be shy?
Or has she already become so accustomed to men's bodies that she no longer cares?
Mu Yunhe's good mood was instantly ruined by this wicked thought. He thought of the rumors about her again—a woman who couldn't resist handsome men, who wrote love poems to them, and who flirted with them. The rumored Luo Zhiheng was so despicable. He felt a little agitated, but even more so, he felt contempt and humiliation.
Because the shameless woman this person is talking about is his wife!
"Enough!" she said darkly. Mu Yunhe brushed her hands away and put on his clothes. The thought of her hands having touched so many other men made Mu Yunhe shudder and feel utterly disgusted.
Luo Zhiheng raised an eyebrow. Damn, he's really hard to please. But in order to curry favor with his mother and get a reduced sentence later, this old lady will really put up with it today!
Rolling her eyes wide, Luo Zhiheng picked up the bowl of porridge beside her and said, "Let's eat."
"Little Princess, the Little Prince always takes his medicine before eating." In the awkward atmosphere between the two, Xiao Xizi had no choice but to bite the bullet and speak carefully.
Luo Zhiheng frowned. She didn't know anything about medicine, but her mother said it was better to take medicine after eating, although many Chinese medicines were taken before meals. She asked, "Is this what the doctor requires?"

025 I'm leaving now

Xiao Xizi quickly replied, "Yes."
Luo Zhiheng didn't want to change their rules, so she put down the bowl of porridge and picked up the medicine bowl. The medicine was already warm, so she scooped out a spoonful and fed it to Mu Yunhe.
But Mu Yunhe was disgusted by Luo Zhiheng's uncleanliness at the moment, and he was unwilling to let Luo Zhiheng get close. He tilted his head and stared at her with undisguised disgust, and said coldly, "Little Xizi, come and feed me. Keep those filthy people away from me."
Son of a bitch!
Luo Zhiheng suppressed her anger once again. She really wanted to point at this bastard and curse him, "You're the filthy one!" She glared fiercely at Mu Yunhe. Anyway, she didn't care to serve this big monster. She placed the medicine bowl heavily in Xiao Xizi's hands and said to the maid, "Take me to wash up."
Only after Luo Zhiheng disappeared from the room did Xiao Xizi finally breathe a sigh of relief and say with a bitter expression, "Young Prince, what's wrong with you today? Why do you seem to dislike the Princess Consort? The Princess Consort is quite good; she tolerated what you said to her."
Mu Yunhe's physical body inexplicably relaxed, but he also put on his usual kind and nonchalant attitude towards those around him. This disguise had not been noticed by anyone before Luo Zhiheng arrived, but now that Xiao Xizi had witnessed the fiery state between Mu Yunhe and Luo Zhiheng, she suddenly felt that this little prince was not as energetic and lively as the little prince before.
It's like the young prince they usually face, because of the comparison, they suddenly realized that the young prince of the past was dead, while the young prince of today is alive!
Although Xiao Xizi discovered it, she dared not mention it.
"She's already married into this family, she should know her place. This isn't the general's mansion where someone dotes on her. If she dares to be presumptuous, I'll make sure she doesn't have a good time," Mu Yunhe sneered.
Xiao Xizi silently served him his medicine, but Mu Yunhe looked disgusted and struggled to swallow the bowl of medicine, taking a long time to finish it.
After Luo Zhiheng changed her clothes and washed up, she came out and saw Xiao Xizi jumping around in front of the bed like a little monkey. She was so anxious that she scratched her head and tried her best to persuade Mu Yunhe to eat some food.
Luo Zhiheng almost laughed, but still pretended to be indifferent and said, "Don't you want to eat?"
Mu Yunhe didn't even bother to look at her. Xiao Xizi sighed with a bitter expression and said, "Replying to the Princess Consort, the young prince doesn't want to eat after taking that medicine every day. That medicine has ruined the young prince's appetite."
Luo Zhiheng didn't care much at first, but when she saw Mu Yunhe, who had just been yelling at her, now lying lifelessly on the bed, his face seemed even worse than before.
"Does the young prince often skip meals after taking his medicine?" Luo Zhiheng asked curiously.
