Noche de luna con flores del río Spring - Capítulo 29

Capítulo 29

One of these two bright spots landed on an unknown planet, while the other landed on a blue planet, which is Earth.

The image before Feng Shui shifted again, and this time a man appeared before him. This man bore a striking resemblance to him, yet was clearly more handsome and possessed a greater presence. A woman then appeared in the scene, her beauty so extraordinary that it was unheard of and unseen, utterly indescribable. However, this woman possessed an inexplicable air of malevolence. Yet, through the way she looked at the man, Feng Shui knew she was wholeheartedly and unwaveringly in love with him.

Immediately afterward, the man in the scene disappeared, and more than ten unfamiliar men appeared. They attacked and killed the woman, who struggled and desperately searched for the man she had just seen. However, outnumbered, she was killed by the strangers. Her eyes, lifeless and wide open, lay there, filled with despair. A moment later, the man who bore a resemblance to Feng Shui reappeared. He clung to the woman's corpse, weeping uncontrollably. Feng Shui could see from his eyes that he had completely broken down mentally over her death.

Suddenly, the man put down the dead woman in his arms, stood up, and an unparalleled black radiance enveloped his entire body. His hair turned a completely eerie blackish-purple, and his eyes became even more exaggerated, with no pupils visible; instead, only two beams of incredibly dazzling bluish-black light could be seen where the pupils should have been. His clothes were also completely torn to shreds due to the overwhelming energy, and Feng Shui was astonished to discover that on his back there was a tattoo with the same pattern as the one on the man riding the Dragon-Slaying Disc.

The feng shui was a bit strange; why wasn't the man wearing the earring that the dragon disc had transformed into? But before he could finish thinking about it, he saw the man pick up the dead woman on the ground. A layer of dark purple energy enveloped the woman's body, and then the woman transformed into seven butterflies of different colors, flew up from the man's arms, and then disappeared.

The scene vanished completely, leaving only blankness, and slowly, crimson blood stained Feng Shui's vision. Then, Feng Shui saw himself, seeing himself fly from the Mei family's old house into the sky, then rescue Li Qiu's soul, meet Cao Hui and Fujiwara Misaki, break the seal on the forbidden artifact, find Jiang Yao, and meet Li Zhanghao, Gui Eting, and others…

Suddenly, Feng Shui opened his eyes and began to breathe heavily, his entire body trembling violently. After a while, Feng Shui gradually calmed down, gently raised his hand, looked at it repeatedly, and then touched the "Wuji Pestle" on his left ear, a smile on his lips that was hard to tell whether it was satisfaction or smugness.

Gently rising from the platform of the Eye of Spiritual Energy, Feng Shui looked up at the night sky and suddenly shouted at the top of his lungs, "I'm back...!"

These four characters, like the Yangtze River flowing beneath Goddess Peak, surged and undulated throughout the entire Twelve Peaks mountain range, unable to find peace for a long time.

Feng Shui removed the Wuji Pestle from his left ear. A boundary array, flashing with azure light, appeared on the ground from within the pestle. A disdainful smile appeared in Feng Shui's eyes as he stepped inside. The azure light of the boundary array flashed, and Feng Shui vanished from his spot.

As the feng shui disappeared within the boundary array, a person suddenly appeared out of thin air at the location of the spiritual eye. He had an extremely handsome face full of classical charm, a thick black braid, and a purple dragon-shaped earring on his left ear. It turned out to be a few meters tall.

"Feng Shui, you're finally back, hahahaha...!" Jimmy Liao laughed wildly.

Chapter Seven: Immortal Arts

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The underground level of the Daxi site, with its distinctive musty smell, always hints at the unknown wonders of ancient cultural sites.

It was already midnight, and the lighting system for viewing had long been half-closed. Only the old tombs and some Neolithic artifacts, such as pottery, lay there quietly, their moldy ancient traces serving as evidence of the significance of that long history.

Like a nocturnal sprite, Chen Feier swiftly traversed the tomb, finally stopping before an open coffin and lying down inside. Suddenly, the coffin began to move, then slowly sank into the ground, becoming virtually invisible unless one looked closely.

One hundred and sixty meters underground, there was an incredibly spacious cavern. In the middle of the cavern lay a huge stone coffin that looked even older than coffins from the Neolithic Age.

However, the location of the stone coffin looked more like an altar. The surrounding cave walls glowed with a ghostly blue light, making it difficult to discern the dimly lit environment. In reality, that light was simply the glow emanating from the quartz sand, which had undergone changes in its composition over time.

Suddenly, the huge stone coffin in the middle of the cave opened automatically, and a figure sat up from it. The figure waved his hand around, and flames suddenly appeared on the cave wall, lighting up one by one in sequence. It turned out that there was a ring of torches on the cave wall.

The cave was no longer as dark as before, but was brightly lit by torches. The figure inside the huge stone coffin was now clearly visible; it was Chen Feier.

The cave was illuminated, making it clear that it was indeed an ancient altar. Chen Feier's four sisters were lying beneath the altar, apparently being used as sacrifices.

Chen Feier removed her sunglasses, revealing her true face. Her complexion was still pale, but her eyes were no longer black holes; instead, two pale green lights, like will-o'-the-wisps, now shone within them. Chen Feier looked somewhat eerie. She calmly stripped off her clothes, then took a small stone bowl filled with liquid from the stone coffin. Dipping her hand in the liquid, she began to smear it all over her body by the firelight.

In no time, Chen Feier's sexy body was covered with bizarre patterns, including birds and fish, making it look more like an ancient mural. However, this mural was painted on a beautiful woman's body, which can be described as a perfect combination of modern artistry and ancient art and culture.

After finishing her painting, Chen Feier floated out of the stone coffin and flew towards her sisters on the ground. She then stripped them naked and began painting on their bodies as well, looking like a beautiful artist depicting her masterpiece. The author believes this might be the precursor to "body painting."

The body painting was finished quickly; it seemed Chen Feier was quite efficient. Suddenly, Chen Feier's expression became devout, and she knelt on the ground, muttering incantations as if in prayer. One of her four sisters slowly floated up, flying towards the stone coffin, and then lay down inside. On the coffin lid, Chen Feier's tone became distorted, her voice almost hoarse.

Suddenly, a sound of a human skeleton being crushed came from the stone coffin, and the lower half of the coffin was quickly stained red. The eerie green light in Chen Feier's eyes deepened, and the patterns below her knees also shone with a bright, eerie green light.

Following in the footsteps of her first sister, Chen Feier's second sister was also placed in the stone coffin, which was then completely stained red with blood. The patterns painted on Chen Feier's body turned a ghastly green, making her look like a demon from hell, so eerie and terrifying.

Produced from seemingly nowhere, Chen Feier pulled out a knife sharpened from a stone. Her incantation grew more rapid and filled with a perverse tone. She gripped the knife with both hands, pressing it against her heart. Just as she was about to stab, a layer of azure light suddenly appeared on the altar between the stone coffin and Chen Feier. A teleportation array appeared in the terrifying cavern, revealing the outline of a feng shui formation in its center.

"The decor here is quite nice." Feng Shui looked around at the surroundings, his gaze settling on Chen Feier, and said jokingly.

"Huh? How did you find this place?" Chen Feier put down the dagger she was about to plunge into her chest and asked in shock.

"It's not easy to find here if you don't look carefully, but that won't stump me," Feng Shui said softly with a confident smile.

"The ritual has already begun. As long as this woman is killed, the Witch God will return to the mortal realm. At that time, even you will not be able to stop it, hahaha..." Chen Feier laughed maniacally in a perverted tone.

"Sigh, it seems you still don't understand the current situation. You can't kill this woman, and that so-called witch god you mentioned doesn't exist at all," Feng Shui said helplessly.

"Trying to stop me from summoning the Witch God? With your meager abilities, dealing with you is as easy as crushing an ant with my current power," Chen Feier sneered.

"I hate people who can brag more than me, even though you're not even human, I still hate you," Feng Shui chuckled.

"Hahahaha, young upstart, I was going to let you off the hook since you've had a few years of cultivation. But you're too ungrateful! It seems I have to show you my power before you'll become arrogant and ignorant." Chen Feier laughed coldly.

2004-12-08 15:18:00

"Your tone is getting more and more annoying. You dare to be so arrogant in front of me. Back when I was cultivating, your sorcerer was probably still peeing and playing in the mud!" Feng Shui said disdainfully.

"How dare you, a mere youth, insult the Witch God! I cannot let you get away with this!" Chen Feier shouted angrily.

She raised the stone knife that she had intended to pierce her own chest and lunged at Feng Shui, but Feng Shui shook his head helplessly, gently extending his left hand and grabbing at the air. Chen Feier, like a puppet on strings, flew to Feng Shui's front. Feng Shui gripped Chen Feier's neck, and the pale green light in her eyes instantly dimmed, returning to two pitch-black holes. Her body trembled uncontrollably.

"How is this possible? You...you...who exactly are you?" Chen Feier asked with difficulty, her neck gripped by Feng Shui.

"Who I am is none of your business! Come out and go back to where you belong. Stop causing trouble in this realm," Feng Shui said softly.

Feng Shui reached out his right hand and grabbed Chen Feier's head, drawing a black energy object out of her body. Chen Feier, in Feng Shui's grasp, immediately wilted like a flower, closing her eyes and going limp. Feng Shui released his left hand from Chen Feier's neck, and she collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

The black energy body in Feng Shui's right hand twisted up as if it were enduring great pain, trying to break free from Feng Shui's grasp, but to no avail.

"I told you long ago not to be arrogant in front of me, and now you're reaping what you sowed. I originally wanted to spare your life, but you've killed four people. Such sins will condemn you to eternal damnation, even in the underworld. I'd rather you vanish into nothingness, saving you from further torment in the eighteenth level of hell," Feng Shui said softly with a benevolent smile.

However, the black energy entity he held in his hand was unable to answer him. Its originally distorted body began to tremble violently, and Feng Shui could feel the intense fear of death emanating from it.

"If only you had known then what you know now. Did you think you could do whatever you wanted in this realm with your meager cultivation level? You should know that there's always someone better. It's just that other cultivators disdain to bother with a low-level prodigy like you. You don't even have a physical body; you're too young to be expected to survive in this realm. Now your primordial spirit has gone mad, and further cultivation won't bring any greater improvement. Keeping you alive will only cause more harm to the world. Fine, I'll do you a favor and save you." Feng Shui looked at the black energy body in his hand and said earnestly.

Upon hearing Feng Shui's words, the black energy entity trembled even more violently, its original humanoid size rapidly shrinking to the size of a cigarette pack. Due to its reduced size, the black energy entity escaped Feng Shui's grasp and fell to the ground, transforming into a river turtle covered in black scales.

"Please, immortal, spare my life! Please, immortal, spare my life..." The river turtle reverted to its original form and crawled on the ground, begging for mercy.

"I'm not some immortal, actually I'm pretty much the same as you, except you cultivate demonic arts, while I cultivate demonic arts. Alas... Heroes of the world emerge from our generation, once you embark on the path of cultivation, time flies by, a thousand years and ten thousand months are discussed in laughter, nothing beats a life of drunkenness." Feng Shui suddenly became sentimental and said.

"Please, Immortal, spare my life! This lowly demon was momentarily bewitched and committed such an outrageous act. Please, Immortal, give me another chance. I will never dare to do evil again," Jiang Gui pleaded, and even more surprisingly, tears as clear as pearls welled up in his dark eyes.

These tears were indeed pearls, even rounder and more lustrous than those produced by scallops. Seeing this, Feng Shui realized that this river turtle could actually produce pearls from its tears; such an ability was impossible without tens of thousands of years of cultivation. Feng Shui couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy, for he knew best the hardships and pain of the path of cultivation.

“Your cultivation is already quite advanced, but you are inherently foolish. Despite cultivating for so many years, you still haven’t obtained a physical body. I have a younger brother who is currently cultivating from the basics. I will send you to him. With your current cultivation level, you should be able to help me protect him. So, let you go and cultivate with him!” Feng Shui suddenly thought of Cao Hui, who was in the Illusionary Realm, and realized that he should find him a cultivation companion, who could also help him in his cultivation realm.

Moreover, now that Cao Hui has been reduced to his original form, his ability to protect himself is quite weak. Although his wife Fujiwara Mishu is by his side, Fujiwara Mishu's skills are too shallow. She can deal with some low-level enemies, but if she encounters a master, things will not be so fun.

Jiang Gui, with nearly ten thousand years of cultivation experience, was the perfect candidate. This could be considered a preordained karmic connection.

"Thank you, Immortal, for sparing my life! Thank you, Immortal, for sparing my life! This humble demon will certainly live up to your expectations and complete the task assigned to me by you." Jiang Gui said with profuse gratitude when he saw that Feng Shui was actually going to spare his life.

"You'd better take good care of my little brother, or I'll have to settle the score with you. It won't just be as simple as you disappearing into thin air; I know many ways to make people wish they were dead," the feng shui master threatened.

"I understand, I understand," Jiang Gui quickly nodded in reply.

Feng Shui gently extended his left hand and swiftly created a tiny red teleportation array in the void. He then struck Jiang Gui, and with a flash of red light, Jiang Gui vanished from his spot.

“Alas, saving a life is better than building a seven-story floating platform. I wonder how many stories I have built over the years? The world is like a tide, and people are like water. I can only sigh that few people return to this world…” Feng Shui picked up Chen Feier, who was lying unconscious on the ground, and said with emotion.

Using his spiritual sense, he activated the boundary array in the "Wuji Pestle" on his left ear, which automatically formed a huge cyan teleportation boundary array under Feng Shui's feet. With a flash of cyan light, Feng Shui and Chen Feier disappeared into the boundary array, and the boundary array also disappeared.

As the feng shui changed, all the torches in the cave went out, and the enormous stone coffin inside exploded, shattering the altar in the process. From now on, no demon will ever again use this place to wreak havoc in the human realm.

In Chen Feier's room at the Chongqing Hilton Hotel.

Chen Feier slowly opened her eyes and found herself lying on a comfortable bed. Although her head ached a little, she felt much better physically and in a better mood. She sat up and noticed that someone was watching TV in the living room.

Chen Feier grabbed her pajamas from the bedside and put them on. She walked slowly to the living room and saw Feng Shui enjoying a glass of red wine while watching Japanese adult videos on the hotel's pay-per-view TV.

"Awake?" Feng Shui asked softly, still staring at the television screen.

"Yes, but I feel much lighter than before," Chen Feier said with a smile.

"That's not all." Feng Shui turned to look at Chen Feier and said with a smile.

When Chen Feier saw the feng shui staring at her, she hurriedly turned her head away and began looking for her sunglasses.

"Hehe, is this what you're looking for?" Feng Shui was wearing sunglasses at some point.

Chen Feier realized that the sunglasses the feng shui master was wearing were her own. She quickly ran over, wanting to come back. She didn't want anyone to see her two black, pupil-less eyes.

"Don't be nervous, go look in the mirror," Feng Shui said gently, stopping Chen Feier with a smile.

Chen Feier was stunned for a moment, then quickly reacted, ran to the mirror on the dressing table, stood there frozen, and burst into tears, trembling as she held her face in her hands. These were not tears of pain, but tears of happiness shed from being moved.

Chen Feier in the mirror had a pair of beautiful, large eyes, as clear as autumn water. Those eyes were like stars in the night sky, so bright and clear. Chen Feier could hardly believe it was real. Excitedly, she touched her face repeatedly, unsure how to express her feelings.

"Hehehe... I didn't expect your eyes to be so beautiful. It seems you no longer need these glasses, so why don't you give them to me?" Feng Shui said with a smile.

However, Chen Feier didn't speak. She turned around, quickly walked to the sofa where Feng Shui was sitting, knelt down in front of him, excitedly hugged his neck, and kissed him deeply on the cheek. Feng Shui smiled with relief, patted Chen Feier's shoulder, indicating that he understood her meaning.

"Thank you." Chen Feier looked up at Feng Shui with teary eyes and said sincerely.

"Our clients' requirements are our mission to fulfill. Our company motto is 'Not the best, but the most expensive.' Don't forget to transfer the final payment to our company account. Thank you for your patronage." Feng Shui stood up, reverting to his usual businessman's expression, and said with a smile.

"Thank you," Chen Feier said again, emphasizing her sincerity.

Feng Shui waved his hand dismissively and walked out of Chen Feier's room.

Inside the hotel lobby, Yu Duotian, Zhou Feiliu, and Fan Daoai had already packed their luggage and were waiting there. Their luggage looked significantly more than when they arrived. It seemed their trip to Chongqing had been very fruitful.

Zhou Feiliu was nestled in Yu Duotian's arms with a happy smile on her face, while Fan Daoai's eyes were noticeably dark and he looked listless. It seemed that he hadn't been "idle" for the past two days.

Feng Shui appeared at the elevator entrance in the lobby, wearing Chen Feier's CD brand sunglasses.

"Shui Shui, over here." Yu Duotian saw Feng Shui and greeted her warmly.

"Do you want to go to other cities in Sichuan for a few more days? Or go straight back?" Feng Shui sat down next to his good brother and asked with a smile.

“Since you came back, I’ve noticed that you seem to have become much more mature and composed than before. Moreover, your eyes are so unfathomable that we don’t dare to look directly into them. Tell me what you’ve been up to these past few days?” Yu Duotian took out a pack of Hilton cigarettes and handed one to Feng Shui and one to Fan Dao’ai, asking curiously.

"Hehe, I won't tell you, answer my question first." Feng Shui kept her in suspense, making Yu Duotian angry.

"You little rascal... Fine, since you don't want to talk about it, we won't ask anymore. I think this is enough for our trip to Sichuan, let's go back." Yu Duotian lightly patted Feng Shui's chest and said with a smile.

"Boss, has Miss Chen settled the final payment?" Zhou Feiliu asked seriously as he got up from Yu Duotian's embrace.

"You'll know once you go back and make a trip to the bank," Feng Shui said with a smile.

Zhou Feiliu stuck out her tongue and lay back down in Yu Duotian's arms.

"Alright, let's go." Feng Shui stretched and said with great satisfaction.

Everyone packed their luggage and headed out of the lobby, only to find Chen Feier's BMW SUV parked there at the entrance, and a waiter came over.

"Are you a feng shui master?" the waiter asked respectfully.

“It’s me,” Feng Shui replied.

"A Ms. Chen Feier just called the front desk and asked us to give you the car keys. She even said she'd give the car to you as a gift. She wants to thank you properly when she gets back to Harbin. Here are the car keys, please keep them safe." The waiter respectfully handed the car keys to Feng Shui and turned to leave.
