Judging from Xu Lie's expression, he absolutely hates coming to places like this. Actually, I don't really like it either! But I've seen on TV that couples often go to these kinds of places on dates, and the scarier the place, the more they want to try it. That way, even men and women who wouldn't normally have any spark will start to connect.

"How old are you?!" Xu Lie looked at me with a livid face. "If you want to play with this kind of thing, play with it yourself."

After saying that, he turned and left. I panicked and quickly ran after him, grabbing his arm and yelling, "Don't go!"

This shout attracted the attention of several passersby, and my face flushed red instantly. Xu Lie wasn't much better off. He glared at me and tried to pull his hand away, but I clung to him like an octopus, refusing to let go no matter what. This drew good-natured laughter from the people around us.

"Xu Lie, I'm not playing this anymore." My voice was almost breaking with tears. "Don't leave me behind."

Xu Lie's expression stiffened, but he was ultimately defeated and said weakly, "Let go."

I instinctively tightened my grip and stared intently at him, afraid he would run away.

"Go buy the tickets." He shook his head helplessly, then forced a smile. "You silly woman..."

Wow—Xu Lie agreed to go! I jumped for joy and rushed to queue for tickets. Most of the people queuing were boys, while their girlfriends stood by waiting, except for me, who was the opposite. This drew sympathetic glances from the girls.

But I don't care about any of that. I'm already happy that Xu Lie is willing to come in and play with me.

Our first stop was the pirate ship, which I heard has the most severe weightlessness and the loudest screams of all the rides. (I don't know if anyone has ridden it before, but it seats about a dozen people on a ship, with two or three people in each row. The ship swings from side to side like a pendulum, starting with a small amplitude, but gradually increasing to over 180 decibels. What's scary is that unlike roller coasters or the "Twist of Fortune" ride, it doesn't have seatbelts, and you stay suspended in the air for a long time. I was a little nervous when I boarded the pirate ship, but once it started moving, I found myself enjoying the feeling of flying. "Yay—" I couldn't help but let go of the railing and wave it towards the sky, as if I were soaring through the air.

Suddenly, my hand was grabbed. I turned around in surprise and saw Xu Lie's gloomy and angry face. The hand gripping my wrist was hot and tight. The spaceship swung to its highest point, and Xu Lie pressed my hand against the railing, saying a few words.

Just as I was about to move closer to listen, the spaceship suddenly plummeted. I lost my balance and crashed into his arms. The impact was so strong that a sharp pain shot through my lips, followed by a faint taste of blood. I opened my eyes and met Xu Lie's astonished gaze and disheveled face. Our lips were pressed tightly together, inseparable.

After disembarking from the pirate ship, we walked side by side in silence, the atmosphere undeniably awkward. For the next few rides, I remained distracted until noon.

"Xu...Xu Lie, are you hungry? I'll go buy some popcorn." Without waiting for his reply, I rushed out.

When he came back, he laboriously carried two cups of milk tea and a bag of popcorn, and placed them on the bench where he was sitting, as if to show off his accomplishment.

Xu Lie glanced at me and said, "I don't eat this kind of junk food."

I pouted, as if realizing he didn't really like sweets, and felt a pang of disappointment. Then I cheered myself up, put on a smile, and said, "Wait a minute, I'll go buy some more." In that instant, I saw a fleeting look of surprise and bewilderment on his face as he squinted at me.

I ran out and came back with a box of takoyaki, smiling as I said, "I know you like this."

Xu Lie frowned: "How did you know?"

I blushed and said, "I once saw you and Xue'er on a date, and you were eating this." In fact, I had been secretly following them.

Xu Lie's expression darkened, and he sighed softly, "Give it to me."

I happily handed him the box and sat down next to him, but remembering he didn't like me getting too close, I quickly moved away. I lowered my head to drink my milk tea and eat popcorn.

"That's because I came with you!" I blurted out.

As soon as I finished speaking, we both froze. My face turned bright red, and I lowered my head, murmuring in an almost inaudible voice, "It's only when you're with someone you like that you're truly happy..."

The air was completely still when suddenly a large hand grabbed my hair, ruffling my shoulder-length locks. Just as I was about to explode in anger, I heard Xu Lie's hearty laughter: "You stupid and idiotic woman."

"Xu Lie!" I snapped. "Stop calling me 'woman' all the time! I have a name! You've never called me by my name before... Waaah—"

A takoyaki was stuffed whole into my mouth, and in my astonishment, I saw Xu Lie's face, which was smiling even more broadly. The early winter sunlight dappled his body, which was wrapped in a tight sweater and jeans, and his handsome, thin face made me momentarily dazed.

I swallowed the takoyaki with difficulty, the salad dressing still clinging to my lips, which I licked off with my tongue. Suddenly, my waist tightened, and I looked up in surprise, meeting Xu Lie's deep, dark eyes.

My heart was pounding, and his hot breath was on my face. It felt like all the oxygen in my body had been sucked out, making me breathe rapidly.

Hot lips pressed against mine suddenly, and a powerful tongue roamed over my lips, licking up all the salad on my lips, yet it still seemed not enough, continuing to linger between my lips.

When I ran out of breath, my lips felt numb and itchy, so I couldn't help but slightly part them, longing for fresh air. In that instant, his tongue darted in, entangling with mine without hesitation, sweeping over my teeth, my tongue, and my heart.

I collapsed into his arms, my hands involuntarily clutching the front of his shirt, basking in the sudden surge of passion, feeling as if I were floating on clouds or lost in a dream.

"Xu Lie, do you like me even a little bit?"

"Xu Lie, tell me, do you like me even a little bit?"

"You don't like me at all, and you won't kiss me, right?"

"If you do this, I'll misunderstand. Am I just imagining things?"

"Xu Lie, please tell me!"

The car suddenly swerved and came to a stop on the side of the road. Xu Lie roared angrily, "Are you ever going to stop?!"

"Waaah," I shrank back, looking up at him pitifully, "But I... I really might misunderstand. If this continues, even if you say you don't like me, I'll cling to you like glue. So, I have to find out the truth!"

Xu Lie could no longer maintain his angry expression, and a helpless smile spread across his handsome face.

"Xu Lie, I really, really love you." I said solemnly, as if I were making a vow. "Being your wife would be the happiest thing in my life. Xu Lie, can you love me too?"

Seeing his brow furrow slightly, I quickly waved my hand and said urgently, "I don't ask you to like me as much as I like you, as long as... as long as you like me even a little bit, that's enough."

Xu Lie sighed, a hint of joy and doting in his eyes. Suddenly, he reached out and hooked his arm around my neck, pulling me into his embrace. His warm lips pressed against mine, a deep kiss followed by a brief separation.
