flamboyant - Kapitel 3

Kapitel 3

When all the children at the academy had a soccer ball, Ouyang Wuhui hadn't even spoken to me yet. We usually played while he stood by, killing mosquitoes.

I gathered everyone together, and we played in groups of five.

The guys who are new to this sport are so inattentive in class that they practically throw the teacher to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean.

After school, no one rushed home anymore; a group of us would crowd onto the playground, determined to fight hundreds of times. I also delayed my return home to rest, a huge loss indeed.

Two months have passed, and no matter how much I make a fuss, that hot-tempered guy hasn't joined our group, and the other students don't try to get close to him either.

Just when I thought the plan had failed, an unexpected guest arrived at my home.

That day, I was watching my mother embroider in our little courtyard when a loud "Bang!" startled my mother, who was engrossed in her work, and me, who was about to drift into a daze. Ouyang Wu Hui glared at me with his domineering bull-like eyes and said:

"You! Come out here!"

You think I'll just leave because you tell me to? Qi isn't exactly losing face, but he's the boss, so it's fine if he loses face.

"Mother, I'm going out for a while."

Be careful when you go out, and come back before dark.

Once we left the house, Ouyang Wuhui dragged me along as we ran quickly, with Zimo following behind, panting.

"No regrets, slow down." The hot-tempered little brat ignored Zi Mo and continued rushing forward as if nothing had happened.

Just when I was about to lose my mind from all the dragging he was giving me, he finally stopped, stood in front of several unfamiliar faces, and said:

"Including him, there are six of us playing." The two children looked at me strangely, and I looked them back at them just as curiously.

One of the little guys is very good-looking. I can guarantee you with my integrity that he will grow up to be an incredibly handsome man. He smiled at me, and his smile was full of sunshine, allure, and a swamp that would make you unable to extricate yourself from it.

If I used to think I was the most beautiful, then at this moment I overturn all my previous theories.

Standing next to this boy was a face completely opposite to his; to call it ordinary would be an understatement—it was simply ugly, so ugly that I didn't need to look at him a second time. So, I followed my instincts and didn't look at him a second time. Another guy was juggling a ball in the open space; he wasn't looking at me, and I didn't need to look at him either.

"No regrets, let's begin." The childlike voice, accompanied by an angelic smile, truly puts countless women to shame!

They assigned the field and members without hesitation, and others followed suit. From beginning to end, no one spoke to me or asked how I felt. A bunch of freaks. You want to play football? You're short-handed? Fine, I'll play with you, and I'll kick you all to death.

I suppressed my anger at being ignored and silently walked towards the group. I was paired with a beautiful woman and an ugly woman, and we had a funny duo act.

After the start, I smoothly passed the ball to Wu Hui's feet, skillfully dodged Zi Mo, and then back-kicked over the Silent Ghost. The Beauty was waiting to receive the pass on the side. The Silent Man followed up with a sliding tackle, and I gave the ball to the Beauty with a side kick.

The handsome guy plays football just like his looks—handsome, dashing, and full of potential. He didn't dribble or shoot, but instead used a prince-like kick, passing the ball to the ugly guy, who then kicked the ball into the goal that should have belonged to the hero. Anyway, our team got the first point.

The second game.

The Silent Ghost kicked off; his dribbling was imposing, but lacked skill. Hey, it's my own fault for being so biased—I only teach those with no real technique. Play against me, you're dead meat.

He dribbled past the pretty girl, and I followed closely to the side, spotting an opening, stealing the ball from his feet, and making a long pass to the ugly guy who was far away. His playing style was as unremarkable as he was, but his goals were inversely proportional to his appearance. Beautiful footwork, the ball gliding in a beautiful arc, landing in the opponent's goal. Absolutely brilliant!

I excitedly ran over, hugged him, and kissed him passionately. Haha, you really can't judge a book by its cover! That was so satisfying! Let Ouyang Wu Hui cry his eyes out to his mother!

I was kissing him when Zimo ran over and subtly pulled my hand away from the clown, a hint of caution flashing in his eyes.

Little Lion glared at us with eyes blazing with fury. Fine, let him glare all he wants; it's not like we haven't glared at him before. The silent man stood coolly to the side, not even glancing at us.

Pshaw! What's with the attitude?

I whispered a few words in Chou Chou's ear, and the little guy looked at me blankly, then walked away silently without saying anything.

They're all sick.

At the start of the third set, I took the initiative and charged forward with the ball. With my superior understanding of football compared to them, I rampaged across the field. Wu Hui relentlessly followed me, seemingly determined to challenge me. I had to dodge him while also avoiding that cool, silent guy.

Zimo ran on my other side, which seemed to suggest that he was slightly letting me win.

All three eyes were on me. I happily showed off my superb individual ball skills. When the four of us were playing a tense and fierce game, I kicked the ball hard and passed it to Chou Chou.

Ugly was about to kick the goal when, perhaps remembering something, he glanced at the three people running towards him and made a long pass to the beauty standing by the opponent's goal. The beauty gently flicked the ball, and it slowly rolled into the opponent's goal.

"Ha! Ha! It's in again!"

I don't know if there was something wrong with my smile or if Little Lion's tolerance was too low, but at that moment, he punched my beautiful smiling face.

I didn't hold back and beat them up back.

He kicks me, I stomp him; he dodges, I follow; he advances, I retreat; he attacks, I defend.

Finally, we both rolled onto the grass and started a pointless tug-of-war. He grabbed my hair, so I bit his nose; he twisted my arm, so I kicked his thigh.

Pshaw! Who's afraid of who!

Zimo circled around us, calling out from the side:

"Stop fighting, Wu Hui, why bother arguing with Eleven!"

"What are you babbling about? Come over here and pull me aside!" I yelled at him, annoyed by the insult in his words. Zi Mo, who had originally intended to step forward, stopped after hearing my words, looked at the crowd awkwardly, and ignored me.

When we were exhausted from fighting, the Silent Ghost "kindly" said, "Stop." Little Explosive Lion let go of my hand, and I gave up my determination to bite his ear.

I collapsed to the ground, gasping for air.

The bull-eyed creature lay sprawled to one side, barely clinging to life.

Zi Mo ran over to check my injuries, but I refused to cooperate and shook off his hand. "Where was your kindness earlier?!"
