Kapitel 63

Wu Hui ignored him and pulled me back.

I gestured to Liu Er from behind, telling him to go back first.

He stopped Wu Hui and asked, "Where are you taking my husband?"

"Oh God," I sighed deeply, "I'm definitely going to die this time."

Wu Hui grabbed my waist and with a few quick movements, tossed the madman who had caused such a huge mess outside Grandma's house.

I peeked at Wu Hui with trepidation, praying that he was deaf.

When we reached Yaxian Pavilion, Wu Hui put me down.

I fawned over him, pouring him tea and massaging his shoulders. "Happy New Year, Huihui."

He ignored me.

"Is there anything you want to eat, Huihui? I'll make it for you." He didn't look at me.

"I regret not seeing you these past few days, I miss you so much."

He remained unmoved.

"Huihui, your shoulders are really shapely."

I kept massaging his tense muscles; damn it, he was so hard, my hands were hurting.

Just when I thought mediation was hopeless, Wu Hui said, "I'm leaving."

"Gone? Where to?" Where can you go? You can only go home.

"Go to the border." He took a sip of tea and said reluctantly.

"Go to the border?" I asked in surprise. Really? If you really are, then get lost. The world is mine!

"This morning's urgent report says that Tianxuan has launched an attack on our border. Father has requested permission to depart tomorrow, and I will accompany him."

Go, and return fearless.

I looked at him sadly and said, "If you leave, there will be no one to keep me company. I will miss you." I blinked, letting tears well up in my eyes.

Wu Hui lowered his head: "It's fine if you leave. A man should prove himself on the battlefield."

That's nonsense. War is just a hobby of a few individuals.

"If you leave, I won't be able to see you anymore." I wiped my tears into his palm, hoping he wouldn't think about things he shouldn't.

Wu Hui looked at me, suppressing his usual arrogant tone, and said, "You'll stay with me today!"

"Okay." Okay my foot.

"Let's go play football in the countryside."

"Huh? Don't joke around, it's winter now!"

"What? You don't want to go!" Wu Hui instinctively wanted to threaten him, but then she held back.

"Let's go, of course we'll go." I put my arm around his waist and headed towards the outskirts. I smiled, full of anticipation.

“Yi”.

"Um."

When do you think we'll be able to come back?

You're already thinking about coming back before you've even left. Aren't you a good soldier?

"With our incredible courage, we'll definitely be back by the end of the month!"

Wu Hui didn't speak, her eyes gazing at the vast, exquisite landscape in the distance, a hint of sadness in her eyes.

I wasn't used to him like this, so I kicked him and said, "Get your act together, it's not like I'm sending you to your death!"

Wu Hui glanced back at the spot where she had been kicked, but made no attempt to retaliate.

"Let's go play football. Let's see who's better!" Wu Hui picked me up, and I enjoyed the free helicopter ride.

As the sun set, Wu Hui walked the streets, not wanting to go home. Her feet were blistered from walking all day. She thought to herself, "Can't I just stop walking?!"

I followed him, half-dead. His shadow stretched out long and thin, equally listless.

Are we going to keep dragging this on? "How about I go home with you, Huihui?"

"Okay." He pulled me along, and we ran back with renewed energy. Ugh, I'd been tricked.

You're a fool.

The atmosphere at Wu Hui's house is a bit off.

He became even more abnormal after seeing me.

His father didn't even glance at me, and Wu Hui took me directly to his headquarters.

I feel that his father doesn't like me, or even dislikes me a bit. Although I don't care much about his opinion, being treated coldly by my friend's father when I go to his house is not a good sign.
