Kapitel 26

"Shi Mansi!" He grabbed Shi Mansi's wrist with one hand. "How dare you! How dare you mistake me for someone else!" While accusing her, he pulled Shi Mansi behind him, using himself to shield her from Yin Zhangzhang.

Shi Mansi is a clever and quick-witted girl, but her martial arts skills are only rudimentary.

Shi Mansi blinked, then reached out and poked the bewildered fake Cen Lu: "It was all him, he lied to me!" She then shouted to the crowd, "Old Madam Yuwen, the person who impersonated you and attacked me last time was also him! Everyone, don't let him get away with this!"

Her temper could change in the blink of an eye, even surprising Yin Bitong: "Your friend is really good at stirring up trouble."

Yin Wuxiao chuckled to himself, thinking that Shi Mansi had always been someone who never gave anyone a moment's peace.

Cen Lu sneered at Yin Zhangzhang: "Last time I wasn't prepared and you escaped. If I let you go again this time, I'll change my surname from Cen!"

Yin Wuxiao chuckled again, "Cen Lü, Cen Lü, your surname wasn't Cen to begin with."

While everyone was dazzled by the attack, Cen Lu struck out with both palms, using the unique palm technique of his master, the Old Man of Tianshan, the Mountain-Chasing Palm.

Yin Wuxiao instinctively saw a green shadow flash before his eyes, and Yin Bitong had already flown forward to block a palm strike for Yin Zhangzhang. In the blink of an eye, Yin Cen and Yin Bitong were already locked in battle.

She watched the fight casually, but her brows gradually furrowed: Although Cen Lu had received guidance from a renowned master, his martial arts were still far inferior to Yin Bitong, the number one expert of "Wuhen" (a martial arts school). If this continued, Cen Lu might suffer a loss. She looked around and wondered why everyone was just watching and no one was offering any assistance.

Seeing Cen Lu gradually losing ground, she couldn't bear it any longer. After much deliberation, she simply shouted, "Yin Bitong!"

Upon hearing this, everyone was shocked. It turned out that this person was none other than Yin Bitong, the "Traceless" assassin whom everyone wanted to kill!

Among the crowd, some young heroes were eager to lend a helping hand to Cen Lü.

Shi Mansi, who had been focused on the battle, suddenly froze. She abruptly turned her head and glared at the source of the sound, her bright eyes fixed on Yin Wuxiao's face.

She knew that voice all too well!

Their eyes met, and both felt as if they had been struck by lightning.

In an instant, Shi Mansi's eyes filled with tears.

“Awu…” Her voice trembled, and she was not sure if what she saw was real or not.

She had seen this scene countless times in her dreams. In the vast sea of people, a girl with black hair reaching her shoulders would look back gracefully, but upon waking, she would find it was all an illusion. She had searched every street and alley in the capital, but could not find that person anywhere. She hated herself for her incompetence, for only knowing how to cause trouble and have fun, yet being unable to find the real culprit and avenge her.

She thought that the two of them would never meet again in this lifetime.

"Awu." Shi Mansi grinned, but tears streamed down her face.

Yin Wuxiao flinched and quickly hid himself in the crowd.

Shi Mansi panicked and immediately shouted:

"A-Lu! That's A-Wu, do you see it? That's A-Wu, A-Wu!"

Yin Bitong and Cen Lu both stopped and looked at her.

Cen Lu flew over and hugged her, simultaneously stopping her from rushing forward.

"Let me go! That's A-Wu! A-Wu!" Shi Mansi went crazy. She bit him, pinched him, kicked him, cried and cursed at him, demanding that he let her pass, she wanted to find A-Wu.

"Don't go looking for her!" Cen Lu roared. "She doesn't want to see you at all! Can't you tell?"

Shi Mansi's hands, which had been struggling in mid-air, stopped. Her gaze was blank as she looked at Cen Lu with tears streaming down her face, and suddenly gripped his clothes tightly with both hands.

"A-Lu, please find A-Wu, okay? Please?"

“I told you, she doesn’t want to see you. Why force her?” Cen Lu coldly turned his eyes away.

"I don't care! I don't care if she wants to see me or not! A-Lu, bring her back!" Shi Mansi glared at him stubbornly, like a spoiled child.

"Shi Mansi!"

"A-Lu, I beg you!"

"..."

Cen Lu then surrendered.

"Okay, I'll bring her back."

The three of them grew up together, and their relationship has become an unsolvable knot. Who is more important to whom? Who is heartbroken for whom?

The matter remains unresolved.

Yin Wuxiao clenched the collar of his shirt tightly.

Why doesn't her heart ache? She was bewildered.

Has she become so numb that she can no longer feel pain?

With a clang, Yin Bitong used the wind from her sleeve to knock Cen Lu away, and the steel knife at Cen Lu's waist fell to the ground.

“This woman won’t go with you. She’s mine.” Yin Bitong stood with her hands behind her back, like a green lotus in full bloom.

Yin Wuxiao chuckled, wondering where his arrogance and confidence came from.

Cen Lu touched the ground with his fingertips, turned in mid-air, and landed safely on his feet.

"Yin Bitong, don't even think about taking her away today, or even if you want to get away unscathed, it's impossible." Cen Lu was no pushover either, and immediately gave him a cold laugh.

Yin Bitong chuckled: "You're not qualified to stop me." He thought for a moment, then added, "Unless Baili Qingyi is here."

He grabbed Yin Wuxiao with one hand and Yin Zhangzhang by the back of his collar with the other, saying, "Until we meet again."

Before Yin Wuxiao left the ground, he glanced at Shi Mansi one last time and saw that her eyes were full of disbelief.

Man Si, perhaps like Cen Lu, is also greatly disappointed in himself?

Sometimes, she even forgot why she was hiding like this. Perhaps it was just a habit, a habit of escaping, a habit of hiding.

Suddenly, they heard everyone exclaim, "The young master in blue has arrived!"

Yin Wuxiao opened his eyes wide in shock, only to see a fleeting green shadow appear.

Yin Bitong took a soft breath. Yin Wuxiao's heart sank.

Now that Baili Qingyi has arrived, it's impossible for Yin Bitong to escape with just two people.

At least one must be sacrificed.

Whom to abandon?

She certainly wasn't naive enough to think it was Mr. Yin.

Yin Bitong laughed loudly in the wind: "Baili Qingyi, come and fetch them!"

He thrust out with one palm, and with the other, he pulled another person into his arms. In an instant, the two were already ten feet away. The lithe, green figure leaped a few times across the rooftops, gradually disappearing into the distance.

Who did he promote, and who did he keep?

Where are there so many suspenseful moments?

Chapter Ten: Passion Backfires, Only Heartlessness Revenges (Part One)

A woman was pushed into Baili Qingyi's arms.

This woman has Cen Lu's face.

Yin Wuxiao thought this as the wind blade grazed her cheek. The more she thought about it, the more amusing it seemed. What a pity she wouldn't be able to see it clearly.

In a flash, Yin Bitong pushed her father-in-law towards Baili Qingyi, and then carried herself away from the Yuwen residence. The turn of events was completely unexpected.

She wasn't particularly happy that Yin Bitong had given up on Yin Zhangzhang for her; she was just... how should I put it...

Having been used to being abandoned, I suddenly find myself becoming so important, and it feels a little strange.

She hugged herself and looked at Yin Bitong warily, saying, "Are you after something I have?"

Yin Bitong spread her hands innocently: "What do you have that I could possibly want?"

"You're the 'Traceless' assassin. How could you not know what I have that you could possibly covet?"

Yin Bitong remained silent.

"Now you know my true identity. Whether your 'Traceless' master is the murderer who slaughtered my entire Yin family, I cannot be certain. But I am certain that your 'Traceless' master must have given you instructions related to me. Am I right or wrong?"

"Yin Bitong, I've finally been honest with you. If you really want something from me, I advise you not to waste your time."

These two sentences are extremely harsh.

Yin Bitong felt she could no longer remain silent: "In your eyes, am I really such a mercenary and useless person?"

He was very hurt.

Yin Wuxiao's lips curled up: "Aren't you one of those guys who takes people's money and then takes their lives? You still have the nerve to defend yourself?"

Yin Bitong said quietly, "Little Yin, your words are really hurtful."

Yin Wuxiao remained silent.

Even when you don't say anything, you hurt people just the right amount of time.

Yin Wuxiao lowered her head, staring at her own clothes. She had already hurt Cen Lu and Man Si, so it didn't matter if she hurt one more person.

Suddenly, a warm hand gently touched her head: "I forgive you. Xiao Yin, let me take you to Baiwen Valley."

Yin Wuxiao looked up in surprise, but seemed somewhat dazed under Yin Bitong's gentle gaze.

Why go to Baiwen Valley?

"Cure the poison in your body."

"It can't be cured," she said defiantly.

How will you know if you don't try?

"I don't want to try."

"I want to try."

Yin Wuxiao snorted, but then forgot what he was going to say.

Yin Bitong chuckled: "Little Yin, be a good girl."

Yin Wuxiao shut up. She was wondering what Hundred Questions Valley was.

Yin Bitong saw through her thoughts.

"The Valley of a Hundred Questions is the residence of Xuan Hegu, the Divine Physician of a Hundred Questions. More than twenty years ago, the Poisonous Healer was defeated by Xuan Hegu. Since the poison in your body was inflicted by the Poisonous Healer, Xuan Hegu can certainly cure it."

Yin Wuxiao's expression was peculiar: "Who told you that the poison in my body was administered by the 'Poisonous Healer'?"
