Suddenly, a figure emerged from the darkness—the shadow of a woman. She slowly slid behind me. I knew it was Qiu Hong, the root of all my nightmares. Yet, she originated from within me. She was the demon deep within my heart.

In a daze, she seemed to take out a phone, a hotline? I turned on the receiver.

Then, I felt my body no longer obeying my reason. My lips parted slightly, my tongue rolled gently, and a voice came from behind me, from the depths of my heart, flowing through my lungs, trachea, throat, and mouth.

"I am Qiu Hong."
