Chapitre 13

"Xiao Yuan? You're up so early too?" Yan Minyu's eyes were fixed on the door behind the bushes, her mind already wandering off to the house.

"Good morning?" Xiao Yuan smiled. Pei Junwu and Xiao Juyuan had already gotten up to practice their martial arts at dawn. "Where are you going?" For Yan Minyu, it was indeed very early today.

"I'll go see if Youshan and Shui have come up yet, and bring him some flowers in a vase." Yan Minyu had already quickened her pace and walked over.

Yuan'er watched her retreating figure with a smile. Senior sister... is she completely captivated by Yi Chunjun? He certainly has that charm.

Even knowing that he is attracted to men, his very existence is a disaster for women.

Thinking of Yi Chunjun, a smile appeared in Yuan'er's eyes. He... was truly a strange person. When he wasn't smiling, he was cold and arrogant; once his exquisitely beautiful face lost its expression, it made people feel unapproachable, as if they were looking up at a god, filled with awe and不敢前临 (不敢前临 - a phrase implying awe or reverence). But he always smiled; when he smiled, it was as if the sun illuminated the night sky, and everything melted into his smile.

He exists there, seemingly both near and far, elusive and captivating.

His affability had completely surpassed that of the legitimate master, Pei Junwu, in just a few days. He was always surrounded by a group of people, and even the servants preferred to be close to him. Yan Minyu had become so familiar with him that she had recently developed a habit of obsessively touching his face.

Yuan'er stood up and looked curiously towards Yi Chunjun's room. He had already walked over with Yan Minyu, who was holding his arm. Yuan'er couldn't help but smile. If Yi Chunjun ever developed feelings for a woman again, her senior sister would definitely be the first to benefit.

Wind, rain, thunder, and lightning followed, with maids Wind and Rain carrying two large stacks of account books. The handsome men Thunder and Lightning, however, arrived empty-handed.

"Master, please review this account as soon as possible so I can set off for Chengdu promptly." Yu'er held the account book high, her face unfriendly. The account book was almost raised to Yan Minyu's face, and it was clear that her anger was directed at her.

"Hmm." Yi Chunjun frowned impatiently, silently pushed away Yan Shimei who was about to stick to him, took the account book, and walked towards Yuan'er.

"Good morning, Xiaoyuan." He smiled slightly at her.

Without warning, Yuan'er paused for a moment, then smiled back at him. Sigh, he really is a devil; even she couldn't completely resist his smile.

He was already sitting where she had just been, and Dian brought him a new cup and carefully poured him tea.

Women manage affairs, men serve... Senior Brother Yi really carried on his preferences thoroughly. He was a busy man, and ever since he moved into the Pei family, people had been coming to him in droves to ask for instructions and report expenses, so Pei Junwu had to arrange for him to stay in a room near the side gate in the back garden.

Firstly, it would facilitate the entry and exit of his people, and secondly... having him guard the entrance to the back garden would ensure absolute safety.

After reviewing the account book, he gave Feng'er and Yu'er some instructions, and the two girls left, giving Yuan'er a strange look before they went.

Yuan'er chuckled. She hadn't tried to lead their master down the "right path," so there was really no need to be wary of her, was there? Yi Chunjun was surrounded by a bunch of strange people.

Yan Minyu waited for a long time before she could finally speak to him, but Yi Chunjun smiled at her and said, "I was a little annoyed by those two girls this morning, and I'm tired too. I'm going to rest for a while." As he spoke, he glanced at Lei and Dian standing behind him, and a faint smile appeared on his lips.

Yan Minyu pouted in disappointment, ignoring his ambiguous gaze. Xiao Yuan frowned slightly, sensing something peculiar about his smile.

Watching Yi Chunjun enter the room with two handsome men and close the door tightly, Yan Minyu sighed with a worried expression.

"Xiao Yuan, why doesn't Senior Brother Yi like women?!" She was practically wailing.

Fortunately, he didn't like women, otherwise, who knows how many women would have been ruined by him.

Pei Junwu and Xiao Juyuan returned through the back door, both looking quite pleased.

Yuan'er lowered her eyes, looking at the tea that had gone cold, and her heart twisted unexpectedly.

"Where is Junior Brother Yi?" Pei Junwu noticed that their smiles had faded, and he was wearing his signature half-smile again.

"Is something wrong in his room? Let's go find him together." Yan Minyu couldn't wait to call Yi Chunjun out.

Pei Junwu nodded, and everyone headed towards Yi Chunjun's room.

Pei Junwu raised his hand to knock on the door, but his expression suddenly changed. He looked to the side awkwardly, and his usually calm face turned slightly red.

"What's wrong?" Xiao Juyuan stepped forward with some concern, having never seen him react like this before.

Then, everyone heard sounds coming from the room... the bed creaking rhythmically, faster and faster, followed by a man's suppressed, pleasurable growl, an extremely ambiguous sound—it was electric.

Even if Yuan'er and Yan Minyu were slow to grasp the situation, they had some idea of what was going on.

Xiao Juyuan blushed deeply with embarrassment, stamped her foot, and covered her face with her sleeve.

“They…they…” Yan Minyu was heartbroken and tears streamed down her face.

The door opened, revealing Yi Chunjun with a bewitching blush on his face, seemingly a little out of breath. His clothes were neat, but his hair was slightly disheveled... He was simply irresistibly tempting!

This is because they know there's a man in his room. If they didn't, his languid demeanor would be a fatal attraction for women.

Yan Minyu rushed over and hugged him, sobbing uncontrollably, and sobbing, "There are mountains and rivers around, why did you do this to yourself..."

Despite the large group of people outside the door witnessing his secret, Yi Chunjun remained unperturbed. He tried to push Yan Minyu away but failed, so he gave up and let her take advantage of him. He then glanced at the group of people at the door with extremely strange expressions, as if nothing had happened.

"Is there something you need?" How could he still laugh?

Pei Junwu frowned coldly at his unparalleled smile, snorted, and blurted out uncontrollably, "What a waste of talent..."

The Smiling Flower, Chapter 13: The Duty of a Half-Teacher

As dawn broke earlier and earlier, Yuan'er looked at herself in the mirror in the dim light. Her face was pale and translucent. She simply tied her hair up and couldn't help but frown.

No success comes from nothing. Pei Junwu's superb martial arts skills are the result of his relentless and arduous training and practice over the years. Even Yi Chunjun would meditate and absorb knowledge late at night, practicing repeatedly.

Looking at them, she felt a little anxious.

Strolling along the flower-lined stream, how should she begin? Her mood, her skills... everything was a tangled mess.

A drop of dew fell onto her forehead, making her shiver from the cold. She slowly looked up; the tree's blossoms had all fallen, and the tender green leaves were almost blinding. Yuan'er estimated the tree's height; the branches weren't particularly thick, but if she couldn't even leap over it and stand on it... Lianwu was out of the question.

She closed her eyes, gathered her qi, and thought about the acupoints through which her true qi should flow... Her body felt lighter, and she held her breath and leaped up! She landed just on the treetop, and with a "crack," the branch broke, and she fell heavily to the ground like a kite with a broken string.

It hurts, and I'm even more unwilling to accept it!
