Глава 123

The core principle of the Soul Transfer Technique is to overwhelm the enemy with your aura the moment they look at you, causing them to lose their mind instantly and fall into a hypnotic state, becoming under your control.

However, Li Boyang could tell that the creator of the Nine Yin Manual was only in the exploratory stage of using aura, and had not yet reached a profound level, because the Soul Transfer Technique was only effective when the enemy was completely unable to resist or when the gap between the two sides was too great.

Although Li Boyang had grasped his own unique aura at the Transformation Realm stage, he seems to have no way to actively use it until now.

As for the role of momentum, he seemed to think that it made him fearless of any opponent in battle, and that because of his momentum, he would only become stronger in battle, while his opponent would be pressured by his momentum. It seemed that there were no other uses besides that.

The appearance of the Soul Transfer Technique clearly shattered his view. In fact, there are ways to actively use one's aura, but the way to use aura seems to be at a higher level, beyond the scope of the Qi Refining Realm.

Chapter 92 Nine Yin Manual

The first volume of the Nine Yin Manual does not contain any records of martial arts moves, but even so, the first volume of the Nine Yin Manual alone can be described as profound and extensive.

The martial arts techniques are all recorded in the second volume of the Nine Yin Manual.

Heart-Shattering Palm, White Python Whip Technique, Great Demon-Subduing Fist, and Nine Yin Divine Claw are four martial arts techniques recorded in the lower volume of the Nine Yin Manual.

Among them, the Heart-Shattering Palm is the most insidious. The Nine Yin Manual was created by Huang Shang after studying the Daoist Canon for forty years. Although it is called Nine Yin, the innate true qi cultivated is actually Daoist true qi, which is the most balanced and peaceful, only its attribute is extremely Yin.

The Heart-Shattering Palm technique was probably the first martial art created by Huang Shang. At that time, Huang Shang's family was wiped out, so this martial art was extremely insidious and was obviously intended to be used against his family's annihilation enemies.

Once the Heart-Shattering Palm is unleashed, if the difference in strength between the two sides is too great, the extremely Yin Nine Yin True Qi can instantly shatter the opponent's internal organs, but the bones will remain intact.

Upon seeing this palm technique, Li Boyang's first reaction was that Huang Shang had probably followed the external path, advancing to the Qi Refining stage after passing through the Transformation Stage.

The method of Heart-Shattering Palm is exactly the same as that of the Transformation Stage, which directly shatters the internal organs through the bones after hitting the enemy. The difference is that Heart-Shattering Palm is a martial arts move used in the Qi Refining Stage.

Li Boyang had no interest in practicing the White Python Whip Technique. This wasn't to say that the technique was weak; any martial art recorded in the Nine Yin Manual couldn't be too bad.

However, Li Boyang had never used a weapon since he started practicing martial arts, and he wasn't particularly interested in weapons. His bare hands were enough to sweep through enemies, and he found it troublesome to carry a weapon every day.

The Great Subduing Demon Fist was the martial arts move that Li Boyang found most appealing in the Nine Yin Manual. It was the opposite of the manual's yin and soft style, taking the path of yin giving rise to yang, somewhat like the concept of extreme yin and extreme yang in Tai Chi.

The final Nine Yin Divine Claw actually has two names. When cultivated properly, it is called Nine Yin Divine Claw, but when cultivated improperly, it becomes Nine Yin White Bone Claw.

This martial arts technique was likely created by Huang Chang after he had truly mastered it. It can be said to be the true essence of the lower volume of the Nine Yin Manual. Huang Chang even wrote a special comment about it.

With force exerted by the five fingers, nothing is insurmountable; it can destroy the enemy's head as easily as piercing rotten soil.

The phrase "destroy the enemy's leader" doesn't mean just grabbing their head, but rather their vital points. Whether one's cultivation is proper or not is implied in this sentence.

If you mess up the practice, you'll end up only grabbing the enemy's head, and when you use it, there will be eerie winds and ghostly wails.

The true Nine Yin Divine Claw is not like that; it conforms to the Taoist principles of moderation and harmony, only its attributes are more yin and gentle.

The order of the martial arts in the second volume of the Nine Yin Manual reveals the changes in Huang Chang's mindset when he created the manual.

The original Heart-Shattering Palm technique was insidious and vicious, and it can be said that it was created by Huang Chang in his eagerness to avenge the massacre of his family.

The next White Python Whip technique is a weapon-based martial art. Compared to using one's hands, weapons are naturally more efficient at killing, which was Huang Chang's original intention in creating the White Python Whip technique.

After mastering the Great Subduing Demon Fist, Huang Shang's mindset gradually changed. He was no longer obsessed with avenging the annihilation of his family, but instead began to create a martial art with the mindset of a grandmaster. Therefore, this martial art had a research-oriented feel to it, where yin gives rise to yang.

Until the very end, when the Nine Yin Divine Claw was unveiled, it can be said that the Nine Yin Divine Claw was Huang Chang's most proud martial arts move. It was created at his peak, as evidenced by the fact that only one of his four martial arts was directly named after the Nine Yin.

In fact, since the two volumes contain internal martial arts techniques and secret methods, it makes no difference whether the general outline is included or not.

However, Li Boyang knew that the general outline was extremely important to the Nine Yin Manual. The general outline clearly stated: "When the extreme of the Nine Yin reaches its peak, it will be a disaster."

The general outline actually records the method of correction, but unfortunately, this method is written in Sanskrit, which I cannot understand.

Li Boyang wasn't too worried about the claim that the extreme Yin of the Nine Yin was a disaster. Besides the general principles, he could think of several ways to solve it.

The best solution would naturally be to find someone to translate Sanskrit. For someone who was already teaching at Songyang Academy, finding someone who knew Sanskrit wouldn't be too difficult.

The second method is to find a method of circulating qi that is extremely yang and strong, and combine the two into one. Taoism emphasizes the balance of yin and yang, and since the Nine Yin Manual was created by Guan Daozang, it naturally cannot be separated from it.

The third method is to wait until you find a Qi-regulating technique of the same level as the Nine Yin Manual and then specialize in it. However, this method is the worst and least advisable.

The Nine Yin Calamity doesn't appear immediately upon starting to cultivate the Nine Yin Manual. It only occurs when one has mastered the Nine Yin Manual to a high level and the influence of the Nine Yin True Qi has penetrated deep into the bone marrow.

Li Boyang gently closed the Nine Yin Manual, reluctantly placing the ancient book in his bosom before turning and walking out of the room.

"Bowen, pack your bags immediately, we're going back to Songyang Academy."

After leaving the room, Li Boyang went directly to Liu Bowen's room.

Having already obtained the Nine Yin Manual, why would he stay in Zhongnan Mountain? He had no interest whatsoever in Qiu Chuji's prayer ceremony. His sole purpose in coming to the True Sect from beginning to end was to obtain the Nine Yin Manual.

"Now?"

Liu Bowen was eating in the room when he heard Li Boyang say this, and his mind suddenly went blank.

Li Boyang nodded and said, "Yes, let's go now."

Liu Bowen said reluctantly, "Teacher, didn't we hear that the True Sect is going to hold a blessing ceremony for the Immortal Changchunzi Qiu Chuji in a couple of days? Shall we go and take a look?"

Liu Bowen was quite curious about Qiu Chuji, also known as Changchunzi. When Qiu Chuji was 74 years old, he traveled thousands of miles to the west, passing through Yanjing, Juyongguan, and Tiemenguan, and finally reached Central Asia where he met Genghis Khan, the great conqueror.

This meeting was called the "Dragon and Horse Meeting" because Qiu Chuji was born in the Year of the Dragon and Genghis Khan was born in the Year of the Horse.

However, Genghis Khan was conquering the Khwarazmian Empire in Central Asia. When Qiu Chuji met Genghis Khan, he told him to stop killing and love the people. As a result, Genghis Khan listened to Qiu Chuji's advice.

The story of Qiu Chuji traveling thousands of miles west and stopping a massacre with a single word spread far and wide, making his name known throughout the Central Plains.

Upon hearing the name Qiu Chuji, Li Boyang feigned anger and said, "What's so interesting about a bunch of martial arts figures having a big meeting? Hurry up and pack your things, or I'll beat you up."
