Kapitel 339

Part Three: The Pinnacle, Chapter Nine: The Pervert – Mad Wood

Warehouse No. 3 at the dock is one of my secret hideouts. As my business has grown, the smuggling operations have become more and more frequent. I am no longer satisfied with just collecting "protection money" from smugglers at sea. Over the past year, I have gradually started to get involved in the smuggling business myself. Otherwise, wouldn't all the customs officials I bribed be wasted?

I own warehouses in several locations around the port, all in secret, of course. This Warehouse No. 3 was one of the first locations I bought, but it was gradually abandoned and is no longer used for storing goods. Instead, it is often used for some "special" purposes.

Warehouse No. 3 is located in a remote area, making it an ideal place for murder, arson, and burying corpses.

We drove to the dock, where my men were already waiting to take us inside. Due to my strict orders, my trusted brothers were already guarding the warehouse, and lookouts were keeping watch around the perimeter. Inside the warehouse, I saw Xiluo and Buck-toothed Zhou already waiting for me.

Although some moisture-proof measures had been taken for this old warehouse at the seaside pier, it had fallen into disrepair over the years. The warehouse smelled salty and musty, as if it had been soaked in seawater. It was damp and gloomy.

Around several huge, abandoned shipping containers stood a circle of my men. Xiro was smoking next to one of the containers. When he saw me approaching, he threw away his cigarette butt and came over to greet me.

"How did it go?" I asked him.

“They’re inside.” Xiluo frowned. “You ordered me to keep an eye on them. But since you weren’t here, I didn’t dare interrogate them. I’m waiting for you to come and do it. Right now, I’m just having Xiao Huang use some light methods on them.”

He was referring to Xiao Huang, the nephew of Lao Huang, who used to work for Eighth Master. Lao Huang was killed by a traitor planted by the Vietnamese, and Xiao Huang later helped me expose the traitor. After that, I always considered him a trusted confidant.

I nodded, and then Xiluo waved, and the two people next to him pushed open the door of the shipping container next to them...

This is a 40-foot shipping container, and the space inside is enough to make a large room. Several abandoned shipping containers here have been converted into rooms, and electrical wires have been installed to turn on the lights.

When I walked in, I saw an iron chain, as thick as an arm, hanging overhead. It had been drilled through a hole in the top of the shipping container. The two people I had caught today had their hands tied to the iron locks, their bodies dangling in the air.

These two guys were completely naked. Neither of them was left with only their underwear, and they were soaked in water. Little Huang was holding a whip, whipping himself with a ferocious expression. I saw several whip marks on the upper body of the guy on the left; he had clearly suffered some pain.

Upon seeing me enter, Xiao Huang immediately put down his whip and whispered, "Fifth Brother!" Then he stepped aside.

I walked up to the two prisoners and looked up at them. Both were of Asian descent, with ordinary appearances and nothing particularly special about them. They had been stripped naked, revealing muscular physiques; they were clearly strong and powerful men. Both had their heads drooping, eyes and mouths closed, their cheeks bulging, obviously with something stuffed in their mouths (to prevent them from biting their tongues and committing suicide).

Hmph, but judging from their expressions and the way they closed their eyes and refused to look at me—they all seem pretty tough.

I smiled and said, "This place is too small. It's a bit stuffy. Let's take our two distinguished guests outside to a more spacious place to get some fresh air."

Then, with a sinister grin on his face, Xiao Huang walked to the side and pulled on an iron chain on the wall...

Then a clicking sound was heard, and the chains suspending the two men immediately started moving. The two men, hanging on the chains, were immediately hoisted out of the container as the chains moved.

Inside the warehouse, an iron chain runs from east to west, with a huge iron hook on it, covered in spots of rust... and in some places, it faintly glows with a dark red hue!

I also walked outside the container. This warehouse is huge, about the size of two or three basketball courts. I looked at the two guys hanging in front of me, said nothing, and just smiled slightly.

Immediately, my men brought over a few simple sofas, and I, Xiluo, Bucktooth Zhou, and Wooden Aze all sat down.

Xiao Huang first went over and removed the narcotic seeds from their mouths, then took out two sets of braces from his pocket and stuffed them into their mouths without saying a word. This allowed them to speak, but they still couldn't bite their tongues to commit suicide.

"Fifth Brother," Xiao Huang said as he walked up to me, "You give the order."

I nodded: "Distinguished guests, please open your eyes. I think you've had enough rest."

The two men didn't react. Xiao Huang frowned and said, "Fifth Brother... I just tried, no matter what I said, they didn't respond. These two guys are yellow-skinned and skinny. I'm wondering if they were sent by the Vietnamese to seek revenge?"

I nodded. Indeed, in Vancouver now, the Chinese community and I have a good relationship, and they all rely on me for their livelihood; they wouldn't send anyone to assassinate me for no reason. The only ones who hate me to the core are the Vietnamese. However, there are no Vietnamese gangs left in Vancouver; I've uprooted the influence of Da Nguyen and Xiao Nguyen, leaving not a trace. Could it be the remaining forces from Vietnam seeking revenge? That doesn't make sense… People in the underworld are very straightforward; if they lose, they lose. Even if they wanted revenge, they would have come long ago; there's no reason for them to wait almost a year to come looking for me. Besides, I wiped out Da Nguyen and Xiao Nguyen's forces long ago. There shouldn't be any remnants helping them seek revenge.

If they weren't Vietnamese, were they Chinese? I frowned and thought for a moment.

The two men simply kept their eyes closed and ignored me. I stared at them for a while, then suddenly laughed. I walked over, circled them, and said in Chinese with a smile, "Xiao Huang, they are Chinese, not Vietnamese."

I pointed to the man on my left and laughed, "See his tattoos? A blue dragon on the left, a white tiger on the right... Hmph, only Chinese people have this kind of tattoo design."

The two people hanging from the ground finally opened their eyes, their gazes fixed on me with a chilling intensity. I lit a cigarette and took a drag. "I'm not one for nonsense. You two came to kill me, right? You should know who I am. I'm telling you straight, you came to deal with me, ruined my wedding, caused such a huge mess, and even injured my wife… You two are definitely not going to survive. You're both going to die. If I said I'd spare you both, I doubt you'd believe me, right?"

Neither of them spoke, but the man on the left with the tattoos snorted.

"Heh heh! Don't think that nothing is more important than death. Sometimes, death is better; you won't have to suffer so much anymore." I sneered. "I'll show you that there are many, many terrible things besides death."

"Hmph!" It was that guy on the left again. He opened his eyes, stared at me, and gritted his teeth, saying, "You surnamed Chen, if you have the guts, come at me! A coward isn't a hero!"

I wasn't angry at all. I walked up to him and casually stubbed out my cigarette on his thigh with a hissing sound. The cigarette burned his skin, but he only frowned, still glaring at me defiantly.

"Keep your spirit alive." I smiled. "Don't try to provoke me. Don't worry, I won't kill you so easily."

"Haha! I bet you won't dare kill me..." The tattooed man had barely finished shouting when I, without saying a word, suddenly bent down, picked up a plank from the ground, and before he could finish speaking, slapped it across the man's face...

*Snap!* *Crack!*

With a deafening crash, the wooden plank struck his face, sending him sprawling to the side. Half his cheek swelled up, bleeding profusely, and he coughed up blood, unable to utter a single word. The wooden plank in my hand snapped in two.

I tossed it aside and glanced up at him: "I hate it when people try to act tough in front of me."

I turned to look at Xiao Huang and his men, and said coldly, "See that! From now on, when you slap prisoners, don't use your hands! Use a board!"

Then I turned around and looked at the two men again. The tattooed man had been slapped across the face with the wooden board I had used, and I think he had knocked out a few teeth. However, he was wearing braces and couldn't spit it out. His mouth was full of blood, and he couldn't speak. He just stared at me intently.

"I'll ask you one more time, who sent you to assassinate me?"

There was no response.

I snorted: "Little Huang..."

Just as Xiao Huang was about to agree, he heard Mu Tou whisper, "Xiao Wu, let me try first."

Wood had already stood up and walked up to me, still carrying that small leather suitcase. He suddenly turned around and glanced at Aze: "Hey, Aze, I know you don't like seeing blood, so why don't you go out for a walk first?"

Aze frowned, nodded, and smiled at me. I had someone take him out first.

Xiao Huang saw that Mu Tou was my friend, so he didn't say anything and let him sit aside.

Without saying a word, Mu Tou squatted down, opened his leather suitcase, took out a leather case, and slowly unfolded it on the suitcase...

Inside the leather case, there was a neat row of shiny, cold-looking objects!

Surgical knives, tweezers, small serrated blades, small file, small hooks, and so on, in various sizes and types...

“These are all surgical instruments used by doctors.” Mu Tou smiled faintly, picking up a small knife between two fingers: “This is a scalpel, used to cut through the surface muscles and fat of the human body.” He put down the knife and picked up the tweezers: “This is used to clean the surface blood vessels and nerves.” He put down the tweezers and picked up the small serrated blade: “This is used to cut bones.”

Finally, holding up the small file, he said, "This is my favorite toy. It was a gift from a classmate who's now a plastic surgeon. Many girls like plastic surgery these days. Some girls dislike their high cheekbones and want to reduce their face size. During surgery, the doctor first uses a scalpel to cut open the surface of the skin, exposing the cheekbones underneath. Then, using this file, they slowly and meticulously grind and smooth the protruding cheekbones..."

As he spoke, he held a file in one hand and picked up the plank I had just thrown on the ground with the other. He rubbed the file back and forth on the plank, making a rustling sound as the sharp end of the wood was gradually smoothed out. Fine sawdust fell down.

Accompanied by the cold, wooden voice, his calm expression, and the rustling sound, the others couldn't help but feel a chill run down their spines.

The wooden board seemed to be giving a lecture. Suddenly, it threw away the wooden board in its hand and gently grabbed the tattooed man's calf. Even though the man was tough, his expression changed drastically, and he kicked a few times.

Despite his seemingly frail appearance, Mu Tou was surprisingly strong! He grabbed the man's calf and then easily seized his knee. Whether there was some clever technique to his grip, the man's leg immediately went weak, and he couldn't move an inch.

Wood remained silent. He picked up the scalpel and gently made a cut along the shinbone...

Instantly, the sharp scalpel pierced his skin, and the tattooed man gritted his teeth, trying to endure the pain. The rest of us, however, watched as the gleaming scalpel sliced through his muscle. Such a long gash, the muscle instantly torn open on both sides, a bloody mess. Blood flowed freely, and we couldn't bear to look.

"Does it hurt?" Wood suddenly looked up at the tattooed man, a faint smile on his face.

The man gritted his teeth; how could he not be in pain? His body trembled, yet he continued to forcefully endure the pain. The man smiled coldly, pulling the scalpel down a little further…

The shinbone area of a person's lower leg has very little muscle to begin with. After the thin layer of skin is cut open, the bare white bone is exposed!

Wood's expression remained unchanged. He actually put down the scalpel, picked up the small tweezers, gently pinched a piece of muscle next to the wound, and slowly pulled it apart. Then, in a deliberate tone, he said, "Look, everyone, this is the subcutaneous muscle tissue of the human body..."

He treated us like students in an anatomy class at medical school, using those tweezers to pull and tug at the tattooed man's muscles without a care in the world. The man fainted from the pain, only to be immediately revived by a splash of cold water. But the man seemed completely indifferent...

The tattooed man was on the verge of a breakdown. Anyone would be terrified if faced with such a medical freak, who was taking their own body and ruthlessly cutting it open as if performing a cadaver dissection!

They were about to endure it when they saw Wood finally release the tweezers, put on a pair of leather gloves, and smile faintly: "Next, I will introduce the structure of the human kneecap."

The tattooed man finally couldn't hold back any longer and suddenly yelled, "Go ahead and kill me if you dare!!"

His head lolled to the side and he fainted, whether from fright or pain, it was hard to tell.

Xiao Huang was about to pour cold water on it, but Mu Tou waved his hand to stop him: "No need, I have my own way."

He bent down and took out a syringe from the box, then took out a small plastic bottle, unscrewed it, and slowly filled the syringe with the needle.

"Dizziness is actually a normal form of self-protection for humans. When external stimuli are too intense, and a person's mind or body can no longer bear it, they will naturally faint. This cuts off further harm from external stimuli, thus achieving the purpose of self-protection." Wood's tone was as cold as ice, devoid of any emotion: "For example, pain. When the body experiences unbearable pain stimuli within a certain timeframe, the nervous system sends a signal to the brain, resulting in fainting. This temporarily cuts off the pain receptors' response. However, I also have ways to deal with such situations."

He quickly and gently inserted the needle into the tattooed man's body, then swiftly injected the medicine from the syringe into his system.

"Look everyone, this is a drug, mainly made of traditional Chinese medicine, which I developed myself... well, you could also call it a toy. Its effect is... to refresh and invigorate! Through my concentrated extraction, this drug can stimulate the sensitivity of the human senses. Of course, besides the traditional Chinese medicine ingredients, for fun, I also added a tiny amount of something special... well, this stuff can stimulate the surface layer of the brain in a short time, greatly increasing its activity! Making the person very excited for a short period... well, this stuff is what people often call a drug... ecstasy. Hehe..."

He put away the syringe, then glanced at his watch. He smiled slightly. "This is a little toy I concocted… well, it's not a legitimate drug, so I don't know if it's very harmful to the human body. But according to my tests, this stuff, once injected into the body, can instantly wake someone who has fainted… and another effect is that it makes the person very excited, and all their senses become extremely acute in a short period of time… especially the pain receptors! Because they are so sensitive, the same level of pain will be perceived as at least three times more intensely by this person! And the best part is… because the cerebral cortex is interfered with by the drug, the person will be abnormally excited and clear-headed… no matter how much pain they are in, they won't faint! Every pain will be exceptionally clear, exceptionally real…"

Including myself, Xiluo, and Bucktooth Zhou, along with a group of his subordinates, all couldn't help but look at Mu Tou with eyes that seemed to regard him as a demon. Some even subtly changed their expressions and swallowed hard.

At this moment, Mu Tou is absolutely a freakish medical fanatic!

His behavior was like that of a psychopath in a science fiction story who enjoys experimenting on living people!

The tattooed man was in deep trouble! He quickly woke up under the influence of the special drug, and immediately began screaming like a pig being slaughtered! His facial muscles contorted in pain, even convulsing! But he couldn't faint again; he could only fully experience the pain, more than three times his usual intensity, under the drug's effects!

Wood picked up the scalpel again and, without mercy, made several cuts on the man's thigh—left, right, up, down. He made these cuts repeatedly, vertical, horizontal, and so on, demonstrating the skillful knife work of an excellent surgeon… The tattooed man couldn't even scream anymore; he probably wanted to bang his head against the wall, but there was nothing he could do. Waves of pain assaulted him; despite the extreme agony, there was no numbness, only a still vivid and clear sensation!

Despite Wood's careful movements, which prevented him from severing his carotid artery, the man had been cut for so long and had bled a lot. Gradually, he began to lose his ability to move, and the ground was already covered in blood. The man's body began to convulse.

Half of the wooden body was splattered with blood, but he remained calm. He sighed, gently put down his tools, looked up at the man, and said slowly, "He has lost a lot of blood, but he won't die for now. However, if you lose too much blood, you will become weak, feel your body lose heat, and feel cold. That's what he's experiencing now."

Even I couldn't bear to watch anymore. The bystanders all looked pale as death.

The only one with a calm expression was Mu Tou. He smiled faintly and said, "Back in medical school, I always got full marks in anatomy class. I'm an expert when it comes to dissecting the human body."

He looked at the tattooed man, suddenly smiled, and said, "Well, he's lost so much blood anyway, I'm too lazy to save him. He's going to die anyway... Since he can't move now but isn't dead yet, I happen to have an experiment I've been thinking about for a long time, and today is the perfect day to do it."

He blinked, then calmly smiled and said, "Live brain dissection!"

"Ugh!!" Buck-toothed Zhou couldn't hold back any longer. He suddenly jumped up and started vomiting violently, then ran to the corner of the wall and continued vomiting.

Wood picked up the small saw and gestured with it a couple of times, as if muttering to himself, "Hmm, this is the first time I've done this kind of live brain dissection. I don't know if it will work, but luckily, I have two test subjects. If one doesn't work, there's always the other one."

He seemed poised to saw open the tattooed man's head in front of so many people when, at that moment, the prisoner who had been tied up beside him finally broke down, letting out a sudden howl...

"I'll talk! I'll talk! I'll tell you everything!!! Please, just kill me!! Don't dissect me!!"

Wood smiled, but walked closer to him, deliberately frowning, and said, "You say something? Sigh, better not to say anything. Let me finish this experiment."

"No! No!! No!!" the man screamed frantically, "Get him away from me!!! Don't touch me!!!"

The third part, the pinnacle, chapter ten, is nothing more than this.

Not to mention the prisoner, even I, Xiluo, and his brothers couldn't help but glance at Mu Tou. Their eyes held a newfound respect and chill as they looked at him. As for Mr. Zhou with the buck teeth, he was still covering his mouth and spewing nonsense in the corner.

Wood had already put away his scalpel and gave me a wink. I immediately realized what was happening and quickly ordered my men to lower the two prisoners hanging there. Little Huang dragged them back into the container. As for how to get their statements, that was none of my concern.
