Falsches Blumenmuster - Kapitel 34

Kapitel 34

"Of course it's a person, a good person, someone you woke up." A magnetic voice.

"Li You!"

Yang Nianqing threw off the covers and jumped out of bed. She threw on some clothes and ran to open the window. Sure enough, Li You was standing outside the window with his hands behind his back, his long, slender eyes looking at her with amusement!

Why did you get up?

"If I hadn't heard someone screaming like that, I really wouldn't have come."

for a long time.

Yang Nianqing finally sighed and glared at him: "To be honest, I, Yang Nianqing, am sure I have not offended you, old man. I just don't understand, with so many people around, why do you always bully me?"

Li You paused for a moment, then smiled. The brightness and joy that bloomed in that instant almost made Yang Nianqing forget their past grievances.

Unfortunately, what he said next was wrong: "Because it's easier to bully you than to bully others."

...

"What happened? You were shouting and laughing just now."

Yang Nianqing thought for a moment and shook her head: "It's nothing."

Li You smiled wryly: "Why are you yelling in the middle of the night if there's nothing wrong?"

Yang Nianqing didn't answer, but stared at him for a long time before uttering a completely nonsensical remark: "Your ears are really long!"

“It is Miss Yang’s voice that I admire so much,” Li You suddenly turned to the side, “besides, I’m not the only one with long ears.”

More than one person?

Yang Nianqing immediately peeked over. Standing behind him, smiling at her, was none other than Nangong Xue. He Bijing also stood not far away, his face grim.

The sound of rain was melodious, creating a warm and tranquil atmosphere.

Nangong Xue was a kind and warm-hearted person, and she must have been worried about her safety. Yang Nianqing was deeply moved that He Bi also came, remembering how he had comforted her with the cake the other day. She realized that beneath this seemingly cold exterior, this "god" had a warm heart...

"Thank you," she said, tears welling in her eyes, looking at He Bi. "You don't need to worry, I'm just..."

Before he could finish expressing his feelings, He Bi coldly interrupted, "Next time you're going to shout, you'd better keep your voice down."

After saying that, he turned around, went back to his room, and closed the door.

He's so delusional!

The tears that were about to flow from her eyes instantly receded completely. Yang Nianqing stared wide-eyed, too angry to speak—it turned out he wasn't worried about her, he had just disturbed her. He had forgotten that the Divine Constable was never soft-hearted, and he actually thought she was being kind!

Li You blinked at her and asked, "Now do you think I'm actually pretty good?"

She was speechless.

Nangong Xue suppressed a laugh: "It's almost dawn, let's rest for a bit."

As expected, Madam Leng was waiting for them outside the door early in the morning. After bidding farewell to Old Man Ren, the four of them set off with her. She was naturally aloof and didn't say much along the way, staying almost entirely in the carriage and rarely showing herself.

Inside the inn.

Nangong Xue sat quietly in the chair, still appearing as gentle and elegant as ever. His two sharply angled eyebrows, which should have exuded nobility and majesty, were always slightly furrowed, adding a touch of melancholy to his handsome face. His noble phoenix eyes were staring blankly out the window, seemingly lost in thought.

"Brother Nangong?"

Yang Nianqing knocked on the door twice, and only went in after he came to his senses. Since the cake incident, the two had grown much closer.

What are you spacing out for?

Nangong Xue smiled: "It would be good to see Hero Chu as soon as possible. I still don't quite believe that this was done by Madam Ye."

“By the way,” Yang Nianqing recalled the doubts that had been lingering in her mind for days and couldn’t help but ask, “Who exactly is this Master Chu?”

Nangong Xue frowned: "It is Madam Leng's husband, Chu Shenghan, the great hero Chu."

Yang Nianqing was even more puzzled: "If he's her husband, why does she still say he's just a friend? And how come they haven't seen each other for over ten years..."

Nangong Xue thought for a moment: "Master Chu was once a famous 'Young Master Cold Sword,' renowned throughout the martial arts world since his youth, and was naturally proud; Madam Leng was also a very famous talented woman, whose self-created 'Thirty-Six Styles of Phoenix Flute Sound' was an extremely rare skill in the martial arts world, but she was just as proud as Master Chu. Later, the two fell in love at first sight and finally became an enviable couple, and their friends in the martial arts world gave them a beautiful name, 'Cold Sword and Cold Flute.'"

Yang Nianqing was secretly pleased. A woman as beautiful as Madam Leng should naturally have such an outstanding husband and a beautiful love story: "Isn't that wonderful?"

But Nangong Xue shook her head: "It's a pity that the two of them separated less than two years after their marriage."

Yang Nianqing was stunned: "What's wrong? Do they have a conflict?"

"I have never heard of any dispute between the two of them. It is said that before Madam Leng left, she selected two beautiful concubines for Master Chu, and Master Chu personally saw her off on her journey."

"How could they separate when they had such a good relationship?" Yang Nianqing was very surprised. "She even chose a concubine for him. How can she just give her husband to someone else for no reason?"

Could it be that they've started using "personal space" too? That doesn't seem like the way to do it; they're voluntarily giving up their space.

"The reason behind this is unknown to anyone," Nangong Xue smiled, but also showed regret. "The two of them walked the martial world hand in hand, supporting each other through thick and thin. They were a perfect couple of heroes, what a pity!"

Amidst the sigh, a cold voice suddenly rang out: "Not necessarily."

Nangong Xue was taken aback, then stood up: "Madam Leng."

So she heard it! Yang Nianqing glanced at her furtively, then looked at Nangong Xue, and suddenly blushed, because she realized she was being incredibly gossipy...

Madam Leng was not angry. She simply looked at the two of them and said calmly, "Since ancient times, you have only known about mutual support in times of hardship, but how do you know the next part of it?"

Nangong Xue immediately fell silent.

Yang Nianqing was stunned. She knew the phrase "sharing weal and woe" naturally, but she had never heard of its next line. She felt ashamed; she realized how little she knew when she needed it.

Thinking about it, she sighed, tugged at Nangong Xue's sleeve, and, not afraid of losing face, asked directly, "What's the next line?"

Nangong Xue shook her head and said softly, "It's fine if you don't listen."

Seeing him like this, Yang Nianqing was even more confused. Just as she was about to ask him, she heard a magnetic voice outside the door: "'It is better to forget each other in the rivers and lakes than to be together in hardship.' So that's why you are here, Madam."

I know who it is without even looking.

Madam Leng turned to look at him: "Since we have different interests, being together will not bring any joy but will only be a burden. Why not forget each other and roam freely in the world? Wouldn't life be much more interesting that way?"

Li You stood at the door, a smile playing on his lips: "Madam thinks I am a burden, but I don't think so."

Madam Leng remained silent.

Li You walked in and sat down in a chair, blinked, and revealed a mischievous smile: "Since we are husband and wife, we should naturally tolerate and understand each other."

Madam Leng scoffed, "What's the fun in forcing yourself?"

"If you have feelings in your heart, why can't you be more tolerant?" Li You sighed. "Don't you think that there is a lot of joy in a husband and wife understanding and tolerating each other, respecting and loving each other, and growing old together?"

Isn't tolerance and forbearance a skill that couples must learn?

Yang Nianqing remained silent.

Both of them were outstanding figures in the martial arts world. Li You was naturally unconventional, while Madam Leng was no ordinary woman either. This led to this rare conversation. When it came to matters of the heart, the two of them spoke fluently and without batting an eye.

Madam Leng turned around: "Since we have different interests, it's better to forget each other and go our separate ways. You only know how to force yourself to tolerate things, how can you know the benefits in this?"

"So, Madam, you've found joy in your travels?"

"good."

"I wonder if Master Chu is also of the same ilk?"

"He's fine too."

"How did you find out, Madam?"

After a long silence.

"He is devoted to martial arts, and now that he has no more ties, he can devote himself to studying swordsmanship and enjoy it. What's wrong with that?"

Li You picked up his teacup: "I'm afraid Madam is just making unfounded assumptions."

She sneered, "Do you think I understand him less than you do?"

“If you have already forgotten, how can you understand?” Li You smiled with a wink. “If there were truly feelings, forgetting would not be an easy thing. Master Chu has been retired for many years, and his whereabouts are hard to find. If you have truly forgotten, how would you know where he lives now?”

Madam Leng suddenly turned around, her expression slightly angry.

Li You picked up his teacup and smiled, "Am I right or wrong?"

Madam Leng stared at him intently, her face extremely unpleasant. After a long while, she gave a cold sneer, then turned and left.
