Die vollständige Sammlung der Geistersärge des Gelben Flusses - Kapitel 15
He bowed slightly and extended his hand: "My name is Zhang Zhengqiu, and I am a shareholder and director of Star Entertainment." I looked at his hand; did he want me to shake his hand?
I reached out and reluctantly shook his hand. His hand was warm, unlike his old hand.
"And you? You have to tell me your name!"
“My name is Naga,” I blurted out.
He was stunned: "Which company? Such a strange name?"
"Yes! It's Sanskrit, and it means dragon."
“Sanskrit?” He laughed. “Your parents are really strange. Why would they give you a Sanskrit name?”
Their names are all like that. I was going to say that, but then I thought better of it. He wouldn't understand; he's not the same person he used to be.
He took me back to his home. He lived alone in a small white building, with an old woman taking care of his daily needs.
He arranged for me to stay in the west-facing room on the second floor, while he stayed in the east-facing room. In the quiet of the night, I could hear his heartbeat, a strange feeling I had never experienced before. The sound of his heartbeat made me feel at ease, and I could sleep peacefully until dawn.
The next day, I followed him to the Star Company located on Avenue Joffre. As we passed by on the main road, I saw buildings and large advertisements outside, featuring a beautiful woman with a pair of alluring eyes. "What's that?"
When I asked him, he answered without even looking at it, "That's an advertisement for Lishi. Her name is Ruan Zhiyun, and she plays the Dragon Girl."
She's playing the Dragon Girl? I don't look like her at all! But it doesn't really matter, since this body isn't mine anyway.
A thought suddenly struck me. The prophecy of Feng Hou said that I would die at the hands of the first person I saw, and that first person was Princess Dongting. Now, my dragon part has died, but I exist as a human. So, am I dead or alive?
After the audition, the results were disappointing. He said I was too stiff and had a blank expression in front of the camera.
"The Dragon Girl's maid should be a lively and lovely girl; you are far too serene right now."
I couldn't help but reply, "The Dragon Girl doesn't have any maids!"
He paused for a moment, then laughed and said, "How did you know?"
I smiled, unsure how to reply, when suddenly I heard a noisy crowd, and a woman in a bright red cheongsam walked in with an elegant air.
"Ruan Zhiyun has arrived."

Reply [30]: As soon as I turned my head, he had already gone to greet me. The two of us laughed and chatted intimately, as if bathed in a spring breeze. Later, I don't know what we were talking about, but Zhang Zhengqiu turned around and pointed at me. Ruan Zhiyun glanced at me with a critical look in her eyes. I smiled at her, but she immediately turned her head away.
From that day on, I followed Zhang Zhengqiu to the studio of Star Film Company every day. I didn't have many scenes; even when I did, I was just standing behind the Dragon Girl. I only had a few lines, which I knew without memorizing them.
When I wasn't busy, I was responsible for cleaning the studio. After cleaning the studio, I would clean other places. Gradually, the cleaning work of the entire Star Film Company fell to me.
I don't care at all. This kind of life is actually much better than being in the Helu Tomb. At least I have endless things to do every day, and I don't have to sit idly and daydream anymore.
After filming for a few days, Jing Shuilongzi appeared, portraying a villainous young man. His speech and behavior were sleazy and dissolute. Zhang Zhengqiu specifically emphasized to the actor that he should highlight the playboy image as much as possible.
As I watched coldly, the image of Jingyangzi standing on a bamboo tip, rising and falling with the slender bamboo branches, telling me, "We are all accidental products of reincarnation," made my eyes ache.
I walked over to Zhang Zhengqiu and whispered, "That's not how the Jing River Dragon Prince is."
Zhang Zhengqiu clearly didn't hear me clearly, and turned around to ask me, "What did you say?"
I mustered my courage and said loudly, "That's not how the Jing River dragon is."
The busy people around me stopped what they were doing and looked at me. I felt a little flustered. Zhang Zhengqiu smiled and asked, "So what should he be like?"
What should he be like? I looked at him bravely and said, "He should be just like you."
Zhang Zhengqiu was taken aback, and everyone else was taken aback, then they all burst into laughter.
He patted my shoulder: "Let's talk about it when I have time!"
He doesn't believe me, which is understandable. How could he possibly know that I am the reincarnation of Jingyangzi? I picked up a rag listlessly. Oh well, let them be! What does this have to do with me anyway?
Filming continued for a few more days. One day, I heard a loud argument while I was mopping the floor outside the studio. Suddenly, Ruan Zhiyun rushed out, grabbed my hand, dragged me into the studio, and pointed at Zhang Zhengqiu with her slender finger, shouting, "You said I'm not calm enough? What's wrong with you? Didn't you say the Dragon Girl should be a lively and lovely girl? Why do you want me to be calm now? If you want me to be calm, let her play the Dragon Girl! I'm not acting!"
Zhang Zhengqiu replied calmly, "Since you put it that way, I'll let her play the role."
Ruan Zhiyun was startled, and her anger rose even higher. She grabbed her handbag without removing her makeup and gave Zhang Zhengqiu a cold smile: "I'm leaving. Don't come begging me."
Zhang Zhengqiu remained silent, and Ruan Zhiyun walked out of the studio, her high heels jingling. Those present exchanged glances, and someone couldn't help but say, "Director, Sister Ruan was just saying that in anger. Let's bring her back!"
Zhang Zhengqiu glanced at me without saying a word. I stood there blankly to the side, and he said, "Change the actor if you want. Anyway, we haven't filmed much yet. I think Xuechen is quite suitable."
Xuechen was the name he gave me, because the day he met me was a snowy morning.

Reply [31]: He changed it as soon as he said he would, and he immediately asked someone to make me a costume. I was completely confused and didn't know what was going on. But when everyone saw me, they had ambiguous smiles on their faces, and I could vaguely hear people saying: "This Xuechen is probably the director's new favorite! He's an unknown actress, but he's given the lead role. I wonder if she'll be good enough? Sister Ruan is really pitiful. She lost her temper once and became a divorced woman."
I don't care about these worldly opinions. I'm older than them all. They say the current year is 1924 AD, and a man named Jesus has been dead for 1924 years. I have no idea who this Jesus is; I've never heard of him before.
I asked people if they knew when the Yifeng ceremony of the Tang Dynasty took place, and someone answered that it was more than a thousand years ago.
I am more than a thousand years older than them. Time flies so fast. I have lived in the Helu Tomb for so long.
What about my South China Sea? What about my parents, brothers, and sisters? And the Mermaid God, are they still alive?
No more dragon miracles have appeared in this world; it's a world of ships, cars, and skyscrapers. My aquatic creatures, they surely cannot adapt to such a mundane world, and have retreated even deeper into the ocean!
I suddenly became a dragon girl, no longer doing cleaning work, but having to face a Jingyangzi who was nothing like him. They arranged for me to marry Jingyangzi, saying it was a marriage between equals.
I couldn't help but say, "But the Dragon Girl eloped."
Zhang Zhengqiu sighed: "Why do you always have these strange ideas? I think you'd be better off as a screenwriter."
I nodded without hesitation: "Okay!"
