flamboyant - Kapitel 22
"It's even more beautiful than just pretty." He still didn't understand.
I laughed heartily and put my arm around his shoulder, which was twice my height (that wasn't an easy move!). I was quite interested in being friends with him. I hope this guy is a wolf in sheep's clothing, and that sparks will fly when he meets a ladyboy. Hehe.
[Main Text: Chapter Twenty-One]
It's so great to live a life of complete seclusion! I'm fearless, dominating the streets and alleys, with lackeys following me everywhere I go. It's wonderful! I used to be someone else's lackey; now I've finally turned the tables! Haha!
"Don't be afraid, you follow me around every day, aren't you afraid I'll sell you off?" I said kindly, looking at the bear waving a knife in front of me.
He stopped what he was doing, wiped his sweat, and said, "You can't."
"Why?" You trust me so much, yet yesterday I almost left you at the restaurant to pay off a debt.
"Because you know my older brother." Pshaw, what a lame excuse. I retorted, "You seem to really like your older brother." That kid doesn't like you.
"Yes." He started scratching his pitiful few hairs, embarrassed. You'll pluck them all out sooner or later.
"He's not as good as you." I made this honest conclusion from an outsider's perspective.
He shook his head, defending Wu Hui: "No, Big Brother is a very good person. He's the first warrior who could evade me with sheer strength." As he finished speaking, Wu Hui's eyes held a wistful longing, and I vaguely guessed that Wu Hui had gotten drunk last time. "Why did he compete with you in strength?" I asked, feigning ignorance.
“可能是我惹他生气了。”他眼神闪烁,估计到现在都不知道无悔为什么揍他。这小子真高台自己,无悔从不当比他身份低的是人,更何况生气乎。
Too lazy to bother with their business. "Perform the sword technique again." The sword technique is perfect for swatting mosquitoes. I'm going to take a nap.
"good."-----
When I woke up, Wuju had already left. I rubbed my numb legs and planned to go back to my room.
"You're having a good time!" The voice, brimming with the arrogance of someone wanting to tear me apart, was utterly brimming with cowish slang.
"Hehe, Huihui, what are you doing here?" I said with a forced smile. Could I not smile? I noticed this kid was holding a fan. Damn!
"Huihui, come in and sit down."
"No way, you doghouse!" Damn it, why did you even come? Get lost. "I'll go for a walk with you," I said with a sweet smile, despising my own hypocrisy.
"Let's go, Qian is looking for you." Wu Hui tossed his fan to the horizon and strode away.
"Chou Qian is looking for me? What does he want?" Strange, he's never contacted me before. I followed Wu Hui, fawning over him like a puppy: "Hui Hui, you look so handsome today."
"I know." Wu Hui's arrogance remained undiminished; it seemed his mental illness had been cured.
"Huihui, your clothes are so beautiful." I made conversation.
"I saw you wearing that a couple of days ago." Wu Hui didn't look to the side, his steps quick. I chased after him with difficulty, but I had to keep going. After all, I'm just a nobody, and survival is hard.
"Huihui, what brings you to visit me?" I asked curiously. You see, that old man Wuhui really thought my place was a doghouse, and he'd never dare to trot his precious feet around it! Wuhui's bull-like eyes suddenly opened wide, and he said, "I came to find you, what the hell are you doing here!"
"What are you doing?" I looked at him blankly. Sleeping, that's normal.
"I can't be bothered with you!" I flicked my sleeves and walked away. I quickened my pace and called after me, "Huihui, slow down."
"I'm not happy."
"Yes, yes, our Huihui is born with incredible speed and unstoppable momentum. She is a good role model for the people to learn from and follow, the war god of the Eastern Qing Dynasty, the object of the fantasies of countless women, she is..."
"Shut up, you bastard." He finally slowed down: "Spend less time with that kid in the future."
"Who is it?" I pretended not to know.
"You know it in your heart." Know my ass.
Entering the pavilion of Ya Xian Lou, I saw Chou Qian drinking tea in his usual spot. I ran over and nuzzled his hand holding the teacup, saying, "You were looking for me?"
"Huh?" He tilted his hand, and I hurriedly stepped back. Damn it, he's trying to ruin my face. I dodged him and said, "Spit it out if you have something to say, or shut up if you have something to say."
"It's nothing," Chou Qian said, drinking his tea.
"Are you trying to fool me?!" I said, annoyed. I kicked the table and sat back down next to Wu Hui. Damn it, even if the seat is empty, I'm going to sit at the very back.
"I didn't contact you," Chou Qian said calmly.
"What did you say!"
"You heard that." Chou Qian poured tea, his hand twitching slightly, and the teacup landed right in front of Wu Hui. Why didn't he just drop it? He should have scalded him to death. I had nowhere to vent my anger, so I silently drank my tea.
Wu Hui chuckled wickedly: "Serves you right."
I'm grinding my teeth. They always bully me. Where did that bastard Zimo go? He left me here to be abused.
“You’re sick,” I retorted.
"Who told you to be with that bastard!" Wu Hui said defiantly. I gripped the cup tightly, suppressing my anger and not smashing it on the table.
"I'm leaving now, nothing else." If I can't afford to mess with them, I'll just avoid them.
"Sit down!" Wu Hui pressed me into the chair. Fine, I'll sit down. It's not like I haven't sat before. My patience is unparalleled. I calmed myself down and decided to treat him like a tortoise.
"Hey, where are those two women?" I looked through the dishes and picked out a few of my favorites to put in front of me.
"I don't know." Chou Qian looked at Wu Hui. He really didn't understand why Wu Hui was looking at him. Could it be that he was having an affair behind Qian Qing's back? What a complicated relationship.
I raised an eyebrow and smiled, "Don't know which one to target?"
"You've come here on business." Chouqian ignored my question and looked straight at Wu Hui.
