Ветер и дым - Глава 98
Okay, to answer the question, let me list out the methods for treating writer's block that I've tested:
First: Read good articles. They should be so good that your entire soul is immersed in them, enveloped by the vastness of their language, like a baby resting in the womb. Good movies, good TV series, and good songs have the same effect.
Second: Read angst-filled novels. They should make you cry at least five times throughout the book, and then you'll cry again after you close it. The effect is the same as a tragic movie or song. I recommend novels by Fei Wo Si Cun, and the Korean drama "Stairway to Heaven"—I cried every single episode of the latter!
Third: Spending money. The process is exhilarating, but the result is quite painful. Please proceed according to your means. However, in my experience, this method is more effective for those who are poorer. — The more pain you experience, the more love you can evoke, oh yeah!
Fourth: Sleep or travel. Choose the former when you have no money, and the latter when you have money.
Fifth: If you can't find someone to guide you personally, look for their books or posts—please believe that everyone has gone through this kind of suffering. Also, please believe that when you see that you are not the only one in the world suffering like this, you will find the most wonderful balance.
Six: Test the tolerance of those around you. — A psychological test well-suited for a breakdown period, aiming to disrupt others' tolerance as much as possible...
Human happiness and joy come from trying your best to drag the other person down to the same level of suffering as you. —This is quite effective for healing yourself. —And it helps you distinguish who truly loves you… What? It might leave you with no one left? Oh yes, that's definitely a side effect. Everything has its pros and cons. What's that thing around your neck for? Don't you think about that first?
However, on the other hand, people in a breakdown phase don't have brains.
Seven: Find something even worse to do – meaning make yourself even worse off, like being penniless, getting lost somewhere and unable to find your way home, being sick and hospitalized, or being dumped by someone, etc. In these situations, you don't have time to think about whether or not you're stuck on a script, right?
...
Uh, are there another eighty or ninety? If anyone has any advanced experience, please share it with me.
That's all for now.
