Chapter 14 The First World (12)

"Hey, you've got some nerve, kid." The fat man laughed, looking at Qin Chu who was holding his arm. "You have a problem with us?"

Qin Chu ignored the fat man and turned to the people behind him, saying, "Let's go back."

His arrogant attitude only added fuel to the fire, and the fat man immediately got angry, grabbing Qin Chu by the collar: "You think you can just come back like that? Didn't you hear me?"

Before Qin Chu could reply, the short man who had spoken earlier suddenly yelled "Holy crap!" and pointed at Qin Chu, cursing, "It's you, you bastard! I've finally got my chance!"

As he spoke, he moved closer to the fat man and said, "Brother, this guy is the student who caused us trouble before. He almost broke my and Lao Si's legs."

Behind him was a group of the nation's future generations. Qin Chu, mindful of those kids, didn't immediately retaliate or try to break free. Hearing the short man's words, he glanced over and carefully examined them before recognizing them as the thugs who had stopped Zhou Sisi in the alley.

Based on the information I've heard recently, this short guy should be one of Meng Bo's men, but just now the short guy called the fat guy "boss"...

Qin Chu's face was a little blank. He looked at the nearly 300-pound fat man in front of him, then turned to look at Zhou Sisi, frowned, and asked the fat man with a complicated expression, "Are you Meng Bo?"

What kind of aesthetic sense does Zhou Sisi have?

Before the fat man could answer, the shorter man next to him blurted out, "You want to see our Boss Meng? Are you even qualified?"

It seemed the fat man wasn't Meng Bo, and both Qin Chu and Noah breathed a sigh of relief. Otherwise, with that kind of taste, even eight of him wouldn't have been able to stop Zhou Sisi from starting a relationship early.

Seeing that Meng Bo was not present, Qin Chu had no intention of dealing with them anymore.

He pulled his hand away from the fat man, took off his school uniform jacket, and tossed it onto the chair behind him. Then, gesturing with his chin, he pointed to the alleyway beside him: "It's no fun here. Let's have a proper chat over there."

Thanks to Qin Chu, the dwarf and his brothers now feel like they need to pee whenever they hear the words "have a good chat".

But after glancing at the fat man beside him and then at the dozen or so brothers behind him, he grew bolder: "Alright, let's have a good chat, so you can face reality..."

Qin Chu took the lead and headed into the alley. The other student representatives, not wanting him to go alone, couldn't help but follow a couple of steps and call out, "Cheng Cheng!"

After glancing at them, Qin Chu said, "Go back and sit down, and continue eating. If you don't want to eat, you can go back first."

A group of students watched as he walked into a dark alley that seemed to have no bottom, surrounded by a group of thugs.

He was tall, but compared to the thugs around him, he looked extremely thin.

Amidst a sea of brightly colored shirts, the blue and white short-sleeved school uniform exuded an unusual chill, covering his straight back like a thin sheath on a military knife.

"You...you just let him go in alone?" Zhou Sisi couldn't help but take two steps after him, her voice trembling with tears.

Her words brought everyone back to their senses, and the sports committee member immediately shouted, "Quick, who brought a cell phone?"

"Quick! Call the police!"

Should we call an ambulance?

On the other side of the alley.

With a "bang," came the sound of a person falling to the ground.

The tall, thin boy walked up to the puddle of mud where he was lying and kicked it.

He crouched down and asked, "Who sent you? There are only some stupid students here. Was it really necessary to come, huh?"

The man's voice was low, seemingly carrying a smile at first glance, yet also radiating a chilling coldness. He asked questions in a gentle manner, but his footwork was anything but gentle, stomping on the person on the ground until they screamed like a pig being slaughtered.

"No, no one... We just came to take a look, we'll leave right away!" The people lying on the ground were all adults in their mid-twenties, but none of them expected to encounter a madman here who was so ruthless.

This guy specifically targets the face, beating them until they were on the verge of tears.

"Coming and going as you please, what do you take me for?"

The man standing there chuckled and straightened up: "Trying to scout the location, huh? Don't try that on me. Don't let me see your dog faces again."

He didn't make any further moves: "I'm in a good mood today, so I'll spare your lives. Now get out of here."

The people lying down hurriedly got up and quickly slipped out of the alley with their tails between their legs.

Yang and the others stood at the back. From the moment those people started provoking them until they left, they had no room to intervene, nor did they have the ability to do so.

"Boss."

Having witnessed the entire scene of the noob being crushed, Yang Ge's throat was still tight, and he even instinctively wanted to back away when he saw Zhao Yuan looking over.

"Boss, what if they all really come?"

"What should we do?"

The tall, slender figure walked under the streetlight, finally revealing his appearance.

He was still wearing his school uniform from No. 1 Middle School, but even if his classmates from Class 1 passed by, no one could recognize that this was Zhao Yuan.

He swept his overly long bangs back, revealing a smooth forehead and handsome yet slightly lazy eyes and brows. Even after just finishing a fight, a nonchalant smile still lingered on his lips, as if he had merely crushed an ant with his foot.

Zhao Yuan didn't walk any further, but instead stood under the streetlight and carefully examined himself.

Seeing that he hadn't gotten anything dirty on him, he finally felt relieved and stepped out of the lamplight's shade.

But when Zhao Yuan picked up his phone from the nearby rocks and saw the time, his face fell.

It was more troublesome than he had imagined, and it wasted some of his time. Now how was he going to explain to his deskmate why he had spent almost half an hour in the bathroom?

Yang was just about to discuss the important matter of protecting the territory with Zhao Yuan when he looked up and saw that Zhao Yuan had run far away.

This person was just looking relaxed, but now he's running back like his pants are on fire.

Yang and the others thought something serious had happened, so they ran after him like little ducks.

Zhao Yuan: "..."

He turned around, somewhat speechless: "Why the hell are you running?"

Yang Ge said timidly, "We ran away because we saw you running away, boss."

Zhao Yuan sneered: "My deskmate is waiting for me. Do you have deskmates waiting for you?"

The group of thugs: "???"

After thinking about Qin Chu's "hating evil as if it were his enemy" personality, Zhao Yuan felt it wasn't safe, so he turned around and pointed at Yang Ge and the others, instructing them: "Remember, stay away from me from now on, keep your distance from me, and don't fucking follow me."

After saying that, he rushed off to the barbecue stand.

Along the way, Zhao Yuan thought of several reasons, even including frequent urination, urgency, and incomplete urination.

But to his surprise, he didn't see Qin Chu when he returned.

The other students in the class were pacing around anxiously. Almost no one was sitting properly at the table, and where Qin Chu had originally sat, there was only a school uniform jacket lying around.

"We found the phone!"

Someone shouted, and then, among these obedient students who dared not bring their phones, a cell phone was passed around like a precious treasure to the class committee.

When Zhou Sisi got the phone, her fingers were trembling. She stared at the phone for a long time, then looked up with a mournful face: "What's the emergency number again? 110 or 119?"

Before these nervous guys could dial the wrong number, Zhao Yuan walked over and asked, "Where is Cheng Cheng?"

This question caused the panicked crowd to catch their breath, and then they all looked towards the alley not far away.

"What's going on?" Zhao Yuan's voice was a little deep as he looked at Zhou Sisi, who was closest to him.

"Just now, just now some thugs were causing trouble. Cheng Cheng, Cheng Cheng went into that alley with the thugs all by himself..." Zhou Sisi was on the verge of tears as she spoke.

She was halfway through her sentence when she suddenly remembered she needed to call the police, so she quickly reached for her phone.

Unlike these good students, Zhao Yuan was very familiar with this kind of thing, and most of his involvement was just minor mischief.

However, he was unclear about the situation at the time and was indeed a little worried. But thinking about how ruthless Qin Chu was when he beat people, Zhao Yuan also felt a strange sense of anticipation.

With this absurd mix of worry and expectation, Zhao Yuan stepped into the alley.

The alley was deep and dark. Zhao Yuan walked a while into it before his eyes adjusted to the darkness. Just then, a faint cry of pain drifted over.

After walking a little further in, before Zhao Yuan could even see where Qin Chu was, he saw a mountain of flesh lying on the ground.

A burly, fat man was kneeling on the ground, his hands covering his head, looking like an ostrich, wishing he could bury his head in the ground. The green dragon and white tiger tattoos on his arms were now limp and lying on the ground, making him look incredibly cowardly.

The person Zhao Yuan was both worried about and looking forward to was grabbing a short man by the neck and shoving him against the wall.

"Let's chat? Did you have a good time?"

"Do you remember what I said that day? You want to lie down in that stinky ditch over there?"

"You think you're so capable of causing trouble for students?"

The guy who got beaten up had a black eye and couldn't even beg for mercy; he could only sob and wail.

There were also more than a dozen people squatting on the ground with their heads in their hands, looking much more miserable than Yang Ge's group that day.

Even though he was mentally prepared, Zhao Yuan was still somewhat stunned when he saw that mountain of flesh and the dwarf wailing on the wall.

Judging from the panicked state of the group outside, his deskmate had probably only been in there for about five minutes. To scare these thugs like this in just five minutes—that's an amazing feat!

Zhao Yuan couldn't help but smirk slightly, hidden in the darkness. He hadn't disappointed his expectations.

Qin Chu was lecturing someone when he felt a hand reach out from behind him.

Even in the darkness, he still managed to grab the person's wrist accurately with his backhand, and then he heard a familiar voice: "It hurts, deskmate!"

Qin Chu: "..."

He let go of both hands, and the short man fell to the ground with a thud.

Qin Chu turned to look at Zhao Yuan, who had launched the sneak attack, and asked speechlessly, "What are you doing in here?"

Luckily, he only caught the person; if he had swept him away, the guy wouldn't be able to come to class next week.

"You came in alone, how worried I was about you."

Qin Chu ignored him, his brows furrowed as he looked at the group of thugs on the ground.

He was genuinely angry this time.

Qin Chu disliked dealing with the same group of people over and over again. When he rescued Zhou Sisi in the alley, he felt he had made his point perfectly clear, but these idiots still came back with a vengeance.

Noah explained in Qin Chu's mind: "Sir, you don't need to worry. The identities and daily lives of these people are all set by pre-programmed data. As outsiders, it is difficult for us to change their behavior patterns."

Qin Chu pondered for a moment and asked, "If outsiders won't work, then what about the things that already exist in this world?"

Noah was taken aback by Qin Chu's question and paused for a moment before replying, "Theoretically speaking, it should be feasible... But how the hell do we do it?"

Just as Noah was wondering, he saw Qin Chu turn to Zhao Yuan beside him and ask, "Did you bring your high school textbooks home today?"

Noah was completely baffled.
