Глава 49

K clicked his tongue, finding it quite reasonable. He followed closely behind Qin Chu, unable to resist lifting his black robe, and asked, "Then why does our Prince still know to cover his face? Isn't he afraid of the sun?"

Qin Chu didn't reply. He walked steadily into his bedroom and reached out to close the door to K, but a shiny riding boot got stuck in the crack.

"Hey, I've been doing all the dirty and tiring work for you, won't you invite me in for a seat?"

"Get out." Qin Chu only uttered one word, his voice extremely cold.

K was taken aback. He reached out to push the door open, but it opened slightly without much force.

K initially thought the prince was just being hypocritical again, but when he pushed open the door, he saw Qin Chu's figure sway almost imperceptibly. He instinctively reached out to steady him, his hand touching Qin Chu's back and feeling a sticky, damp patch.

"you……"

K looked at his palm; it was bright red.

Qin Chu slapped K's hand away, steadied himself, and threw him another cold "Get lost." But as he moved, the hood of his black robe slipped down, revealing a face as pale as paper.

His skin was already pale, and now even his lips had lost their color, making him appear unusually weak against the backdrop of his black hair.

K stared at Qin Chu's pale face, feeling surprised once again.

He smelled blood on Qin Chu and guessed that the man was injured, but he didn't expect him to be so badly injured. After all, no vampire would go out to save a human in broad daylight with a severely wounded body.

Unless you've been kicked in the head by a donkey.

This prince... is ridiculously interesting.

Qin Chu walked to the table, poured himself a glass of water and drank it all in one gulp. Then he looked at the hunter behind him with sharp eyes: "Get out if you don't want to die."

This person seems to be born without the ability to back down; even in this state, their tone remains extremely cold.

K thought it was really fucking funny, but at the same time he couldn't help but sigh.

He shifted slightly and noticed that Qin Chu's gaze was fixed on him. That gaze was like that of a wounded wolf in the snow, weak to the extreme, yet still poised to bite off the offender's throat.

"Okay, I'll leave, I'll leave." K made a gesture of surrender and backed away towards the door.

Watching the hunter disappear outside the door, and waiting patiently for a while to make sure he had left, Qin Chu walked to the double doors of the bedroom and closed them.

The door panel was extremely thick and heavy. It hadn't meant anything to Qin Chu before, but now, the slightest movement of his arm muscles pulled on his wound, causing him intense pain.

After being injured, he first rushed back from the Duke's castle, and then went out in broad daylight to rescue people. The whole journey was exhausting, and even Qin Chu was a little overwhelmed.

He frowned slightly, slammed the door shut, and then turned to close the other one.

The instant he turned around, a knotted rope was thrown from outside the door, quickly slipped on and pulled, locking Qin Chu completely in place.

Qin Chu moved quickly, immediately reaching back to pull the knot. But his movements were still a beat slower due to his injury. Before his fingers could touch the rope, a strong body pressed against his back, pinning him against the door.

"Caught!"

The person behind him chuckled softly, the last syllable of which was brimming with barely concealed pleasure.

Chapter 37, Second Story (12)

K reached out and locked Qin Chu's hands behind his back, then pulled the rope and wrapped it around Qin Chu's wrists twice.

"Trying to fool me?" Qin Chu turned to look at the person behind him.

This was the first time he had ever been completely at a disadvantage, but regardless of whether he wanted to tear K to pieces, His Highness remained extremely calm and composed.

“No, that’s not it.” K said with a smile as he tied a knot in his hand and tugged at the rope. “I was just looking for a handy tool.”

During the brief moment of relaxation while he was replying, his hands, which had been locked in a knot, seized the opportunity with perfect precision, and with a couple of forceful movements, the knot he had just tied instantly came undone.

K quickly pressed the person down, looking at Qin Chu's composed profile, and muttered in a low voice, "He's so badly injured, and still so difficult to deal with."

Having failed to break free, Qin Chu gave up on his efforts.

He asked, "What do you want to do?"

Judging from his cold tone alone, you would never guess that he was in such a passive state.

"What are you doing?" K leaned closer and stared at him for two seconds, making sure he couldn't see any frustration or urgency on the man's face. He sighed, but his amber eyes were filled with interest and excitement.

"Good question, what for?"

The next second, Qin Chu's body suddenly rose into the air.

K simply picked him up and threw him onto the spacious bed in the bedroom.

The hunter smiled, narrowed his eyes, and crouched down dangerously.

"Remember what I said? A high-ranking vampire like you, who is beautiful, must never appear weak. Otherwise, a bunch of greedy vampires will be eyeing you covetously, waiting to devour you when you are weak."

Sharp fangs sprang out, approaching Qin Chubai's translucent neck. The snow-white, sharp tips barely grazed the skin outside the blood vessels, leaving a shiver.

K whispered in Qin Chu's ear, his voice low and husky: "Now... seems like the perfect time to devour you."

"Oh," Qin Chu responded with a cold laugh, "Then I advise you to hurry up."

At a time like this, how dare you provoke us?

K slightly raised his body. He stared at Qin Chu's fearless eyes for a while, then leaned down and opened his mouth again: "I really bit him, aren't you going to beg me?"

Qin Chu was furious and turned around to yell, "If you're going to bite, just bite! What are you dawdling for?"

K: "..."

So arrogant, who's biting whom?

"Fine, fine, you're so fierce, you're really something." K sighed and straightened up. "I won't tease you anymore."

He sheathed his fangs, drew the knife from his waist, and slashed open Qin Chu's clothes.

With the sound of tearing fabric, a blood-soaked back was exposed. Compared to when Qin Chu had just returned that morning, the wound had almost doubled in size, and in some places, even the stark white shoulder blades were visible.

K tore open Qin Chu's sleeve along the wound, revealing the full extent of the injury, and sincerely exclaimed, "You still have the mood to rob someone in this condition?"

"What does this have to do with you?"

The man, whose upper body was covered in blood, still had the strength to talk back. K smiled and shook his head, not replying.

Qin Chu's wounds were all on his back and the back of his arms, and with his hands locked behind his back, they were difficult to clean.

K observed for a while, then reached out and scratched Qin Chu's bound hands: "Your Highness, now I'm going to untie your hands and tie them somewhere else. But you must understand, covered in blood, you are no less than a delicious roast meat in my eyes."

"Of course, it's infinitely more delicious than roasted rats in the dungeon."

Qin Chu was speechless for a long time. Who the hell wants to compare themselves to a rat? Just as he was about to take the opportunity to break free, he looked up and met K's punchable face.

The man smiled and pointed to the sharp teeth near his lips: "You're so delicious, it's been a real struggle for me to resist. So, I'm warning you, don't touch anything."

Qin Chu remained outwardly calm, but it would be a miracle if he actually obeyed.

He carefully felt the strength of the rope in his hands, preparing to seize the opportunity to beat up this shameless thing on his body and hang it from the roof.

"Snap!" The knot came undone.

Qin Chu was wary of K's movements and reached out to grab K's wrist.

But to Qin Chu's surprise, K neither dodged nor took any other precautions. He simply pressed himself against Qin Chu the instant Qin Chu struggled.

His hot breath hit Qin Chu's cheek.

The two were so close that their noses almost touched.

The hunter looked at him with a smile, threatening him in a seemingly serious but actually feigned manner: "I'm not kidding you, if you move again I'll kiss you, you believe me?"

Qin Chu: "..."

Noah swears that Qin Chu was a little stunned at that moment.

General Qin had lived for over thirty years and had seen all sorts of dangerous situations, but this was the first time he had encountered such a bizarre threat.

I'm not afraid, but I need to process the information in those words.

A mere second or two of stunned silence was enough for K.

Qin Chu realized what was happening and was about to retort, "Let's kiss, who's afraid of who?" when he discovered that his hands had been switched and were now tied to the headboard.

This is a very passive posture.

When his hands are locked behind his back, he can use the strength of his core to turn his body over. Now, restricted by the position of his arms, he can't even turn his head and can only lie face down on the bed.

It's quite amusing to see this pathetic state on someone who refuses to admit defeat.

K straightened up and admired the wound for a while before continuing to examine Qin Chu's back.

Now that the wound has fully opened up and the inside of the wound can be seen clearly, K couldn't help but frown.

"Don't move." He pressed one hand on Qin Chu's waist and used the other hand to pry open the wound with a sharp dagger.

But this instruction seemed to be directed at a ghost.

The moment his fingers touched Qin Chu's skin, the muscles in Qin Chu's back involuntarily tightened.

The hunter clicked his tongue and tossed the object he had picked out with the tip of his knife in front of Qin Chu; it was a grain of solidified silver.

"This thing needs to be removed, otherwise you'll never recover from this injury."

As he spoke, he patted Qin Chu's side with the dagger: "Relax your muscles, or the tip of the knife will snap off."

Looking at the silver grains rolling in front of him, Qin Chu also wanted to relax.

But due to the conditioned reflex developed over the years, Qin Chu couldn't help but tense up whenever K's hand touched him.

So Qin Chu thought for a moment and suggested, "Why don't we just chop off your hand?"

K: "..."

"Tsk, I'm healing your injuries."

K was both annoyed and amused. As soon as he finished speaking, he saw the person tied to the bed struggle again: "Let go, I can do it myself faster."

"Do it yourself? Why are you doing it yourself?" K held the knife up to his back and gestured with it, feeling a bit of pain. "If you do it yourself, you might as well forget about having any flesh on your back."

Qin Chu remained silent, clearly indicating that this was his intention.

As he was pondering a solution, Qin Chu suddenly felt a slight tingling pain in his almost numb back. Accompanying the tingling was a slight warmth.

"What are you doing?" Qin Chu asked, frowning.

K didn't answer immediately. After a while, he raised his head and licked the blood from the corner of his mouth.
