Wearing the white uniform of the Academy of Fine Arts, Qin Chu walked through the entire stadium. Just as he was about to enter the dormitory area, someone called out to him.
He turned around and saw a beta who looked somewhat familiar.
Their studios are very close together; I think I just saw them at the dinner table.
Seeing him stop, Beta quickly walked over.
He smiled at Qin Chu: "My studio is next to yours. You've been really diligent lately. Whenever I feel like slacking off, seeing your light on gives me a renewed motivation."
Qin Chu nodded to him: "Let's encourage each other."
I was too embarrassed to admit that I was just too incompetent and that if I didn't work hard, I'd be eliminated.
The dorms of the beta and the omega weren't far apart. After walking together for a while, the beta hesitated for a moment before saying, "I heard what Ross said to you at the dinner table. That alpha's attitude was a bit too bad, but you were actually tricked by Ross today."
Qin Chu stopped and looked at him, not understanding how a simple quarrel could be considered being tricked.
It's not like I got beaten up.
Beta whispered, "You've been staying in the art studio lately, so you probably don't know, but that military academy student named Levi was punished a couple of days ago because someone called him by that name. I heard he beat the person so badly they ended up in the hospital."
Qin Chu frowned, and a ripple appeared on his previously calm mind.
"Everyone in the military academy knows that using that name is tantamount to provoking Levy. Later, when this incident came out, everyone at the base knew about it too. Ross is taking advantage of your ignorance to deliberately cause you trouble."
At this point, Beta waved to him and ran towards the dormitory not far away.
Qin Chu was not comforted.
Hearing these words, my previously calm mood was torn open, and I became increasingly annoyed.
Just because someone called out the name he gave them, they beat that person up and sent them to the hospital?
That's quite promising.
Qin Chu quickly walked back to his dormitory and swiped his card to enter.
After he entered the dormitory, another loud burst of laughter and chatter came from outside the dormitory building.
Qin Chu had already climbed the stairs to the second floor. He casually glanced out the window at the corner and saw the military academy students he had met during dinner escorting Omega back to his dormitory.
Levi was also in this group, trailing behind at a distance, looking up at the dormitory building, lost in thought.
Qin Chu withdrew his gaze, took a few steps up the stairs, and returned to his room.
Outside the dormitory, after those particularly noisy Omegas entered, the military academy student who had acted as a "protector of the flowers" also went back to his own dormitory.
Levy did not move.
He stood at a distance below the dormitory, looking up and counting the windows one by one.
Counting up layer by layer, and then down layer by layer.
Unfortunately, he didn't know which floor Qin Chu's dormitory was on.
Seeing that he hadn't moved, the person in front of him called out, "Hey, let's go. Are you really drunk?"
Levi waved to him, "You guys go back first, I have something to do, I'll wait a bit."
He shouldn't have said that; the group of guys, who were already walking away with their arms around each other, were about to leave when he shouted that. They immediately came running back with strange noises and surrounded him.
"Okay, I have something to do!"
A few people, enjoying the spectacle, winked and made faces at Levi.
"What kind of serious business can you, an Alpha, possibly have doing while staying under an O's dorm?"
Someone rushed up and made Levi squat in a circle.
"Tell the guys, who's got her eye on? We'll help you out!"
The person who said this was immediately kicked.
"Give me a break, you want to help? Does Levi look like someone who can't handle things?"
It really doesn't seem like it.
She looks like she knows how to flirt; she might even be able to flirt with several people at once.
Levy smiled but remained silent, appearing very confident.
In truth, he sighed inwardly, realizing he really couldn't handle it.
I've never pursued anyone in my life. If I were good at handling things, I wouldn't have spent days squatting under the Omega dorm without seeing anyone.
I finally ran into them at a restaurant, and they were so mean they made me leave.
Levi chased away a few classmates and then wandered around the Omega dormitory twice.
The security guard downstairs was giving him strange looks, and after waiting in vain, Levi reluctantly headed back to his dormitory.
Perhaps because he had been locked up in the studio every day for the past few days, Qin Chu slept very soundly that night.
So much so that he was a little stunned when he saw the cabinet door that had fallen off the foot of the bed the next morning.
Was there a burglary or an earthquake last night?
Qin Chu squatted on the bed and examined the cabinet.
Noah sighed deeply: "No thieves broke in, and there was no earthquake."
"What happened?"
Noah said in a low voice, "Some people hold their breath during the day and then kick others in their dreams at night. One of them kicked the cabinet at the foot of the bed."
Qin Chu, who had no memory of anything: "..."
He squatted in front of the cabinet and tried his best, only to find that the wooden boards on the side of the cabinet had been cracked by his kicking and were beyond repair.
After a long silence, Qin Chu finally made a call to report the problem.
The person on the other end of the phone was shocked.
Since the base was established, the dormitories on Alpha's side have been replaced almost every quarter, with an extremely high frequency of repair requests. In the end, they simply hired a repairman to be stationed downstairs in the dormitory building.
However, this is the first time such a damage incident has occurred in the Omega dormitory.
As an Omega who accidentally kicked down a cabinet in his sleep, Qin Chu felt extremely guilty.
But the staff member on the other end of the phone was even more guilty than him.
No one thought that a delicate Omega art student could have such destructive power, so they assumed that the items in the dormitory were old and kept apologizing to Qin Chu, asking if he had been hurt.
Qin Chu could only swallow the truth silently.
After all that commotion, Qin Chu left his dormitory later than usual. Before he even stepped out of his room, he received a visitor request.
Omega dormitories are strictly managed. Outsiders generally need to apply separately and will only be allowed in after their personal confirmation.
Eighty percent of these visit requests came from wardrobe repair workers.
Qin Chu was surprised by how efficient the repairmen here were. The sooner they fixed it, the better. He accepted the application and immediately went downstairs to pick up the workers.
By this time, most of the Omegas had already woken up, and the corridor was bustling with people.
As soon as Qin Chu opened the door and stepped out, he immediately felt a faint gaze upon him.
Some, mindful of etiquette, merely observed discreetly, while others were more blatant, displaying a mocking, almost gleeful, interest in watching the spectacle. Some Omegas, passing by Qin Chu in groups, even let out a couple of muffled laughs.
Qin Chu frowned and began to think about what else he had done last night besides kicking the wardrobe and cracking it.
Could it be that he made too much noise and the dormitory was not soundproof, so everyone on the floor knew about his feat of kicking down the closet door?
I went down another floor and still received similar looks.
After Noah's reminder, Qin Chu finally understood the reason.
It's because of the conflict at the restaurant last night.
Levy was the most prominent figure in the base, attracting attention wherever he stood, especially in a busy place like the restaurant.
Within hours, news of Levi cursing an Omega in the restaurant spread throughout the entire building.
Most people didn't know what happened and thought Qin Chu had gone over to chat him up but was sternly rejected.
This has become a huge laughing stock in the eyes of many people.
Qin Chu continued walking downstairs.
After walking past another staircase corner, Qin Chu bumped into Ross, who was also about to leave the dormitory.
Ross saw him and smiled slightly: "Wow, senior, you're so late today. Didn't you sleep well last night? I'm so sorry about yesterday. I didn't expect you to get scolded by Levi for mentioning that name. I heard you even went to the stadium to look for Levi yesterday, but unfortunately, Levi wasn't there..."
"Also, senior, did you know? The model selection results are out, and the selection rules..."
Qin Chu was preoccupied with his own cabinet, and when he saw Qin Chu rushing up and rambling on, he immediately made a pause gesture to interrupt him.
Qin Chu glanced at him and said directly, "I don't have time right now. You've gone to all that trouble, and I'm not giving you any feedback. You're tired too. I'm free at one o'clock this afternoon. You can come to my studio if you want."
The phrase "Come to my studio at 1 p.m." carried the air of "Come to my office this afternoon."
Ross's tea ceremony performance was interrupted halfway through, and his face turned red. He could only stand there and watch Qin Chu quickly go downstairs.
Suddenly, several Omegas came running up from the first floor screaming.
"Ahhh, it's him, isn't it?"
"Why did he come to our dorm?"
"He looks so handsome up close!"
Upon hearing the voice, Ross immediately knew who it was.
Levi actually came to the Omega dormitory?
What is he doing here?
Could it be that what happened last night isn't over yet?
After all, the alpha who called out Qin Rui's name to Levi last time got beaten up and ended up in the hospital!
Last night, Levy's attitude was truly terrifying. Ross couldn't help but shudder at the thought of his smiling yet still chilling gaze.
But...did Qin Chu just go downstairs?
Ross's initial fear vanished, replaced by a surge of anticipation and a desire to see the drama unfold.
There were quite a few people who saw Qin Chu coming downstairs. And thinking about the rumored conflict between Qin Chu and Levi in the restaurant last night, a group of people, always eager for a good show, immediately rushed downstairs.
