Kapitel 50

Chapter 46

Liu Suoyu and Lin Shandie were standing outside the door chatting about tomorrow's mission when the car door suddenly opened.

Cheng Qing sat by the door, looking at the two with a smile in her eyes, and said, "Get in the car!"

Liu Suoyu peeked into the car and saw Luo Xi leaning against the window, staring blankly out the window. Her cheeks were as pink as peach blossoms in spring, and she was as shy as a bride-to-be.

How can I put it? But at least the child is quiet now, right?

Liu Suoyu smiled and gave Cheng Qing a thumbs up. Cheng Qing smiled back at him: "What? You want me to comfort you too?"

Before Liu Suoyu could even speak, he saw that Losi's ears by the window had turned visibly red.

Lin Shandie covered her mouth and asked with a smile, "Is the teacher comforting me?"

Cheng Qing chuckled softly: "What are you trying to comfort me about?"

Lin Shandie: "I waited outside for so long and I couldn't even get a few words of comfort from the teacher?"

Luo Xi turned to look at her, blushing as she lectured Lin Shan Die: "What's wrong with you? It's just a couple of minutes."

This would have definitely started an argument before.

But now Lin Shandie also thinks that Luo Xi is quite cute, and says with a smile, "Waiting is so tiring! I need the teacher to comfort me."

Losi blushed and finally blurted out, "How old are you?"

Liu Suoyu and Cheng Qing exchanged a glance and laughed together.

The fans outside the car cheered happily upon seeing the cheerful conversation inside.

Kong Mingyan quickly returned to the car and saw Luo Xi blushing from Lin Shan Die's teasing. He laughed and said, "Shan Die, now you like teasing her too?"

Losi let out a deep breath and looked at Kong Mingyan: "Are you teasing a dog?"

"My God." Cheng Qing quickly pulled Luo Xi aside and said, "Stop talking. I've never seen you curse at others, but you're cursing at yourself."

Looking at the hand that was being held, Luo Xi complained pitifully, "What did Director Kong say? Are you kidding me? I'm not a dog."

Cheng Qing was amused by her and comforted her: "Don't pay attention to what he's saying, he's not speaking human language."

Kong Mingyan was speechless at Cheng Qing's words: "...cough cough, I heard it, Teacher Cheng." One of them cursed him as soon as he opened his mouth, while the other cursed others without using any foul language.

Laughter immediately filled the car, and on the way back, everyone slowly leaned back in their seats to rest quietly.

Outside the car, the soft moonlight shone on the earth, and the streetlights, like pearls, stood on both sides. On the bustling street, the golden night world was dazzling.

As Losi looked at him, recalling Cheng Qing's tender gaze earlier, she smiled gently and said, "The answer... has always been obvious, hasn't it?"

"I am close to you, it is my heart's desire."

At the time, I was stunned by those words, but now, thinking back on them, they don't seem to have any special meaning. It was just a matter of closeness; I didn't say I liked anything.

"I'm so angry." Losi realized she'd been tricked again; her answer wasn't very clear!

"What are you angry about?" Cheng Qing opened her eyes and looked at her. Luo Xi took a breath, knowing that one battle is the only way to win, and the second is the only way to lose, and the third is the only way to lose. Naturally, she couldn't ask like she had before.

She could only hum and turn her head away. Cheng Qing didn't press her for details, but reached out and rubbed her head vigorously, saying, "Take a rest! Go to bed early tonight."

Losi couldn't bear to push her away, but she asked unwillingly, "You know what I want to ask, right? Does being close to me mean you like me?"

Liu Suoyu and Lin Shandie both perked up their ears. Cheng Qing glanced at those people, paused for a moment, and then smiled again at Luo Xi, saying, "None of that matters."

Losi: "..." It's not important, my ass.

Liu Suoyu: "..."

Cheng Qing didn't say anything more after that, and Luo Xi didn't ask any more questions.

The next day, Cheng Qing suspended physical training and began teaching them swordsmanship.

Liu Suoyu and the others were immediately excited and happily asked Cheng Qing, "Is our physical training ready?"

Cheng Qing, holding her sword and wearing a fencing uniform, looked at him and said with a smile, "Where did you get that fast? This was just a last-minute addition to your physical training. This activity was just to give you a feel for it. The competition starts next week, and if you only have physical training, you won't have much of an advantage over the other students."

Liu Suoyu clicked his tongue: "Looks like our physical fitness isn't good enough! But it's okay, we can make up for it with swordsmanship. I love practicing swordsmanship, teacher, can you teach me a move that decides the outcome with a single strike?"

Cheng Qing shook his head and said, "I have already taught you how to hold a sword, stand at attention in a T-stance, and take combat stances. I have also talked about footwork. Today I will teach you offensive techniques: straight thrust, redirecting thrust, and striking thrust. I will also explain defense and counterattack in detail."

"Fencing attacks are divided into simple and complex types. In formal competitions, we usually use complex attacks, which involve two or more moves."

Losi took a lunge position, thrust forward, and then asked with a bright smile, "Teacher, is this alright?"

Cheng Qing paused for a moment, sighed, walked behind her, grabbed her wrist, and made a thrusting motion.

From this position, Cheng Qing looked at the other two students and explained in a cool voice: "The offensive structure of fencing, simply put, consists of three processes. 1. The initiation process, which mainly involves taking initial offensive actions to observe or provoke the opponent. 2. The advancement process, where you seize the opportunity and try to find an opening in the opponent's defenses with a feint to create an opportunity to attack. Finally, the finishing process, where you strike when you find an opening and the opponent exposes a vulnerable area."

Cheng Qing looked at Liu Suoyu and answered his question seriously: "This is a matter of deciding the outcome with a single sword strike. You must observe carefully and act quickly."

Luo Xi pulled her hand away, and Cheng Qing was taken aback. He came to his senses and let go of Luo Xi's hand.

"Sorry, I got too carried away."

Losi remained in the sword-wielding stance, her face flushed, yet she spoke loudly and forcefully: "It's alright, I am detached from worldly desires."

Cheng Qing: "..."

Liu Suoyu: "..."

Lin Shandie: "..."

All three fell silent for a moment, then Cheng Qing laughed and said, "Oh, really? Then shouldn't the Taoist priest put his sword away?"

Luo Xi blushed, sheathed her sword, and turned to Cheng Qing, saying, "This time when I drew my sword, the tip didn't tremble."

Hearing this, Cheng Qing's gaze softened.

A couple of days ago, she was sick and stood on the balcony, watching her practice in the yard early in the morning. It was just a little game that the production team came up with on a whim, but seeing Luo Xi studying so earnestly, how could Cheng Qing remain unmoved?

Therefore, when she heard about the results of Rossi's hard work, she naturally told Rossi gently and considerately, "You did very well."

Having received the praise, Luo Xi hugged her sword and smiled happily at Cheng Qing.

Cheng Qing smiled back at her, picked up her sword, twirled it, and looked at the three students with a smile: "Want to practice?"

Liu Suoyu shouted and jumped to the opposite side of Cheng Qing: "Teacher, I'll have a match with you. I think I've improved a lot."

Cheng Qing raised an eyebrow: "Come on!"

Liu Suoyu was excited and, upon hearing that the attack was about to begin, chose to take the initiative.

Cheng Qing stood opposite, outstretched his arm, and repeatedly threatened Liu Suoyu's vital areas with the tip of his sword.

Liu Suoyu immediately dared not attack and switched to defense, but was struck by Cheng Qing's sword in an instant.

Liu Suoyu lost a point and wailed, "How could this happen??? I was being so careful."

Cheng Qing smiled and said, "This is called fencing line technique, also known as priority refereeing. It's one of the important ways to turn your offensive initiative into a defensive one. Have you learned it?"

Liu Suoyu was furious: "Learn my ass! How can you possibly learn something so fast?"

Cheng Qing turned to look at Luo Xi: "Why don't you give it a try?"

Luo Xi nodded and stood opposite Cheng Qing.

Cheng Qing chuckled and teased her, "Do you remember you said that diligence can make up for lack of talent?"

Losi's face turned bright red: "I...I can."

Cheng Qing raised an eyebrow at her: "Attack."

Losi composed herself and focused intently on Cheng Qing's movements. Seeing Cheng Qing's gaze shift to the right, she immediately launched a straight thrust. Of course, Cheng Qing wasn't truly distracted, and thus easily used her fencing to deflect her attack.

Cheng Qing probably wasn't expecting to score immediately, and smiled as she took a step back, saying, "Not enough attack power!"

Losi's breath hitched, and she slowly moved forward in a lunge. To Cheng Qing, the novice's stiffness and slowness actually added a touch of cuteness.

When Losi's sword was drawn again, she frowned, looked up at Cheng Qing, and said in a coquettish voice, "Teacher, let me stab you!"

Cheng Qing froze, then scolded, "No acting cute."

Seeing that her coquettishness was useless, Luo Xi raised her sword and looked at Cheng Qing with a sly smile: "If you don't stab me, I'll pounce on you and hug you."

While Cheng Qing was momentarily distracted by the threat, Luo Xi seized the opportunity to stab her in the stomach with her sword.

The scorer beeped, and Losi's eyes widened in surprise. Then she shouted excitedly, "I won! Ah, I won! I won!"

Upon seeing that Cheng Qing had conceded a point, Liu Suoyu threw down his sword, squatted down, and shouted, "This is unfair! This damn dog food, yay!"

Lin Shandie laughed heartily, and Cheng Qing helplessly rubbed his forehead, but finally burst out laughing.

The autumn sun shines bleakly, but smiles are radiant, and affection is deep.

Cheng Qing smiled, her eyes sparkling, and stared at Luo Xi, saying, "You win then."

In the 10 days since he arrived, Cheng Qing has lost to Luo Xi several times.

Losi's proud smile shone brightly in the sunlight as she flashed a V-sign at Cheng Qing.

Liu Suoyu kicked away the fencing fencer: "I lost because I'm a dog! Not because my fencing skills weren't good enough!"

Laughter erupted in the courtyard and carried into the house. The three students who had made a failed cake looked on with envy.

Losi won, jumped up and ran to the side, performing several more fencing moves. Then, proudly turning to Cheng Qing, her charming face and delicate expression, her eyes sparkling, she asked, "Teacher, wasn't I amazing?"

Cheng Qing chuckled: "How could it not be impressive? It's already mastered the art of winning hearts and minds."

Lossie: "...It's because you're not resolute enough." Then she muttered, "You're resolutely confused when it comes to feelings."

Cheng Qing: "...I heard it."

Losi: "Hmph. ╭(╯^╰)╮"
