Kapitel 16

Jasmine's mouth dropped open. "I...I'll go?" Just thinking about the CEO's voice made her tremble. How could she possibly utter a word? "I don't want to! He's your older brother, you go!"

"Okay! Let's play rock-paper-scissors, that's the fairest way, right?" David thought to himself that he probably wouldn't be the best draw winner.

Rock-paper-scissors? Are you kidding me?

"Really? Do you have any better ideas?"

Philip had nothing to say.

"Who wants to go first?"

Passionate, tender kisses landed lightly on her sensitive spots, her breathing gradually quickened, and her soft moans were melodious and gentle. He caressed her hard, swollen breasts, and she licked his strong, muscular chest. His body throbbed for her, and her heart cried out for him.

"Hey, help!" David's cautious, pitiful cry for help suddenly came through the walkie-talkie.

Joel froze. "Damn it!" he muttered, panting, suppressing the intense urge raging in his groin. He released Sisi and pressed the intercom hard. "You'd better have something more important than me having sex with Doll."

Hearing gasps coming from beside his ear and through the walkie-talkie, he couldn't help but laugh. "Alright, let's call Jasmine in to tidy up first."

After a long while, Jasmine's hesitant voice finally came through the walkie-talkie. "Yes... President."

He laughed even harder. "Jasmine, I promise you I won't kill you... at least not today." Joel laughed and grabbed Sisi's hand that was hitting him, pulling her behind him until she was pressed against his chest. "Come in, Jasmine, and tell those two bastards to come in too."

He turned off the walkie-talkie, pressed his lips to hers tenderly, and whispered, "I love you, doll, I love you so much!" He then began to kiss her passionately and tenderly, seemingly oblivious to the sounds of the door opening and conversations behind him.

Looking at the messy office, Philip exclaimed in surprise, "Wow! Has World War III broken out?"

Jasmine squatted on the ground picking up the documents and items scattered all over the floor, too embarrassed to ask the couple who were passionately kissing.

“They’re doing it on the desk,” David whispered.

Philip's eyes lit up. "You mean..."

David nodded.

“Wow! That’s amazing, I’ve never tried that before! I never thought our boss could be so romantic…” Philip made a face. “And when he’s in such a hurry.”

The two spoke softly, their laughter punctuating their voices.

Joel, panting, pulled slightly away from Sisi's lips, pressed his forehead against hers, and asked, his breath unsteady, "What's wrong?"

The two looked at each other, their eyes conveying a sense of unease.

"Get out if you're not going to talk!"

David shoved Philip forward forcefully, and had no choice but to speak. "The princess has arrived and is waiting in the reception room."

Joel frowned, then called Jasmine over and whispered a few words to her. Jasmine blushed, and Sisi buried her face in Joel's chest, not daring to look up.

Jasmine nodded and hurriedly ran out. Then Joel leaned down and whispered a few words in Sisi's ear. She nodded and quickly walked towards the suite.

Then, Joel quickly put on his shirt, tucked it into his trousers, and picked up the tie from the table to tie it. "How long has she been here?"

"At least twenty minutes." That's fast. I wonder how long they've been "practicing"? Philip thought to himself.

Joel put on his coat. "David, I'm leaving the company to you this afternoon. I'm going out." He turned and walked out.

David gave chase. "What about Sisi?"

Joel stopped. "No, I should say, what about the princess? I need to take the doll shopping." He winked, a mysterious yet delighted smile spreading across his face. "Some... well, something rather personal, you know? Alright, Philip, come with me."

"Me again?" Philip muttered, unconvinced. "Isn't this David's 'business'?"

“Because I’ve decided to change it to a social event,” Joel replied domineeringly. “In fact, I might even get Rosanne and Shana to help, so you won’t have so many complaints, right?”

"That's more like it." Having someone to help is always better than struggling alone.

"Almost? Humph! Don't forget we haven't settled the score with you over Miss Judy yet!"

"Ah!" Philip quickly lowered his head and reflected on his actions.

After Joel finished shopping with Sisi, he returned to the company to meet Princess Chris, who was waiting in the meeting room.

“Princess.” Joel’s lips brushed lightly across the back of Princess Chris’s raised hand before he sat down on the single sofa to her right.

"Do you know how long the princess has been waiting?" Anne, the personal maid, asked arrogantly.

Joel narrowed his eyes.

"Shut up! Anne, this is none of your business! We all know that President Rox is very busy, and it's already difficult enough that he can find time to see us." Princess Chris quickly reprimanded the maid for her meddlesome talk.

“You are a princess, he should know his place, and of course he should put aside everything to accommodate you.” The princess is the pride of heaven, and he would never allow anyone to slight her.

Joel frowned upon hearing this.

Seeing Joel frown, Princess Chris became uneasy. "Annie, this is America, not our country. The CEO is not a citizen of our country. There is no need to treat me specially."

“Princess, every country you have visited has treated you as an honored guest, flattering you and following you around like a shadow, afraid of causing you any displeasure. Who does he think he is, daring to treat you so disrespectfully?” It is his good fortune that the princess has taken a liking to him, yet he dares to treat the princess so lightly.

Joel's face was as gloomy as the calm before a storm.

“Anne, you…” Princess Chris was both angry and anxious, not knowing how to shut Anne up.

"He's just a commoner. How can he compare to those princes and nobles? How can he be compared to those kings and chiefs?" Anne continued her unrestrained and incessant insults, then turned to Joel and said, "Let me tell you, it's only because the princess thinks highly of you that she's condescended to see you. Don't be ungrateful!"

Joel abruptly stood up, gave Princess Chris a stiff nod, and said, "Princess, you're tired. You'd better go back to the hotel to rest." With that, he turned and strode away.

As Joel passed by the gloomy-faced Philip, he suddenly winked at him playfully and even stuck out his tongue, causing Philip to open his mouth in surprise.
