Collection Hiromi - Chapitre 16

Chapitre 16

Do you know how I yearn for you, my eyes strained with longing, as I play the zither, tears streaming down my face, watching the flowers bloom and fade.

The moon is pale tonight, just like my heart; how hateful, how hateful.

...

A wave of melancholy washed over the man in black, a mixture of laughter and tears. Suddenly, he threw his head back and roared, "Damn it! Stop playing! What the hell are you doing, playing the guqin in the dead of night?" The man in black unleashed a burst of energy, creating a circular shockwave. The silver swordsman was the first to feel the overwhelming pressure, instantly being pushed back more than ten meters. Where the shockwave passed, the forest only trembled slightly, and a clear, sharp "ding" of a broken string echoed from the depths of the woods.

A moment later, a series of "humming" vibrations came from the depths of the forest, and light shot out like lightning. The shadowy figure gasped: "The Shadow of the Musical Instrument! Heavens! Someone has actually mastered the ultimate art of string music!" The light rushed towards the black-clad man's vital points: his face, chest, abdomen, and calves. The black-clad man had no way to avoid it. In the blink of an eye, the black-clad man waved his hand and chanted incantations. His whole body was enveloped in a blue light like an eggshell. The light continuously struck the blue light shield, but only caused a slight ripple.

"A magic shield!" Not only was the silver swordsman dumbfounded, but an incredulous cry also echoed from the depths of the forest. A magic shield was the highest form of defense for a mage. The black-clad man's martial arts skills were already astonishing, but who would have thought he also knew magic? In this world, only the dean and the instructor could combine magic and martial arts. Could he be...?

Everything returned to calm. A beautiful woman emerged from the depths of the woods, dressed in simple white clothes, with a zither hanging on her back. She appeared to be about twenty years old. Could she be a student of the String Music Department at the Magic and Martial Arts Academy? Damn! How come all the students these days are so powerful? Things seem bad; it's best to leave now. The young man and woman knelt down on one knee and bowed, saying, "Lian Shuge, a swordsman from the 177th class of the Magic and Martial Arts Academy, and Lucy Fuglan, a student of the String Music Department, greet Teacher Henry!"

The man in black turned around and shouted, "Hey! You two kids, you've got it wrong. Who's Teacher Henry? I'm the boss. The older brother is the boss, understand?"

Lian and Lucy exchanged bewildered glances, wondering why their teacher wouldn't admit it. The incredible skills of "Finger Sword Around the Mountain" and "Magic Shield" were clearly the super martial arts of the Magic and Martial Arts Academy. Just as they were feeling awkward, a magical pet suddenly leaped out of the woods. The eldest brother frowned, thinking to himself: Damn it! Another summoner!

Upon seeing clearly the person standing on the magical pet, she exclaimed in surprise, "Princess Jenny Kay of the Empire?"

The Tomb of Qin Shi Huang (Side Story): The Dragon's Treasure - Chapter 8: The Mystery of Instructor Henry's Disappearance

Chapter word count: 2322 Update time: 08-03-02 10:15

“Teacher Henry, it’s been so many years! I never imagined you would appear in such a small country. It’s truly a miracle!” Princess Jenny said coldly, looking at the man in black before her.

The man in black frowned. It was clear that his slip of the tongue and the skill he had revealed had led the other party to discover his identity. It seemed that he was really unlucky this time. Although he thought so, he still held a sliver of hope and argued, "I am not the teacher Henry you are talking about. You have mistaken me for someone else. I am the boss. If you don't believe me, you can check the records bureau."

Lian and Lucy looked at each other, wondering why Teacher Henry would hide his identity. They knew that the teachers of the Magic and Martial Arts Academy had extremely high reputation and status, and their students were spread across every important position in the entire Star River Continent. As long as the teacher raised his voice, countless students would respond. They were second only to the teacher and above thousands of others. In addition, Teacher Henry was a prominent figure more than 20 years ago. They just didn't know why Teacher Henry suddenly disappeared back then.

I longed to see Mr. Henry's true face. The image of this legendary figure had been deeply etched into my childhood dreams. However, Mr. Henry was dressed in black, with a black hood covering his head. The only thing I could see were his eyes, which were deep and unfathomable.

Princess Jenny stared intently at the man in black, took a breath, and then said, "The Information Bureau? If I hadn't investigated thoroughly, I wouldn't have come to see you, Professor Henry. I know your heartache..."

"Stop talking. You must have gotten the information about the Blood Sword from the antique dealer." The man in black interrupted Princess Jenny, revealing his purpose for the night. He was also quite shocked, never expecting to encounter such an important figure here. Although he knew the capital was under alert, he knew there must be some important court figure present, but he never imagined it would be Princess Jenny of the Empire.

Princess Jenny waved her hand, signaling Lian and Lucy to stand up. Upon hearing the purpose of the night, she disregarded the identity of the men in black and nodded, saying, "That's right. We've received news that the Blood Sword has appeared. Tonight, we're here to verify its authenticity and then acquire it."

The man in black drew a blood-stained sword from his waist, gave a slight shake of his hand, and slowly said, "Three hundred thousand gold coins, not a single ruble less."

The blood-red sword flew in, slicing through the night sky. Princess Jenny caught it, her eyes scrutinizing the blade without pause. With a slight exertion of power, the blood-red light surged, reflecting the glow of the red sun. This sight drew gasps of amazement from Lian and Lucy, with Lian's face filled with delight. If she could possess this sword, she was certain that one day she too could reach the level of a sword saint.

"It truly is the Dragon Abyss Blood Sword. After being tempered by the passage of time, its blood color has faded, returning it to its pristine state, pure white and luminous. I just wonder how it regained its natural state? It seems that the story of the nine dragons leaping in the Demon Scripture is not just a myth. If I hadn't seen this divine object with my own eyes, I really wouldn't have believed that such a legend truly existed." Princess Jenny praised the blood sword in her hand.

After a long while, Princess Jenny seemed to remember something. She put away the blood sword, took out a gold card and threw it at the man in black, saying coldly, "I never thought that Teacher Henry would stoop to such a level, making a living by tomb raiding. How laughable, how laughable!"

The man in black ignored Princess Jenny's sarcastic remarks, took the gold card, glanced at it, and smiled slightly: "Damn! Quite a generous offer. If I had known the buyer was Princess Jenny of the Empire, I would have skinned her alive."

Just as she was calculating how many gold coins she should return for this gold card, Princess Jenny jumped off her magical pet, stepped forward, and sneered, "No need to pay it back. The gold card is worth 500,000, which is enough for your subordinates to live on for a lifetime."

The man in black chuckled sinisterly, carefully pocketing the gold card. He turned to leave, but Princess Jenny's words stunned him. He turned back, looking surprised, and asked, "How did you know?"

Although Princess Jenny couldn't see the expression of the man in black through the black cloth, she could understand it clearly from his eyes and movements. Lian and Lucy were also taken aback. Their conversation just now was a mystery, and it seemed that the answer would soon reveal all the mysteries of the past.

Princess Jenny gazed at the man in black and sighed, "More than twenty years ago, a very outstanding examiner at the Magic and Martial Arts Academy fell in love with another female teacher. The handsome man and beautiful woman were enjoying a romantic evening, and just as they were about to get married, a terrible thing happened that very night. The bride lay in a pool of blood, her heart ripped out. Years of investigation yielded no results. So the groom decided to break the taboo and bring his beloved woman back to life, and so..."

Princess Jenny paused, not continuing her sentence. Lian and Lucy had heard similar stories at the academy—tales of lovesick men and women, but without a resolution. Hearing this, Lian and Lucy couldn't help but ask curiously, "Did the bride come back to life?"

Princess Jenny continued, "So the groom decided to sneak into the palace library at night to steal the Demon Scripture. According to the Demon Scripture, if you see nine dragons leaping in the sky, the Demon God will grant you one wish. After reading the Demon Scripture, the groom secretly tore out the last page, and from that night on, the groom disappeared."

The man in black flashed a sharp killing intent in his eyes and coldly asked, "How do you know the story of the Nine Dragons Soaring?"

"The groom thought himself clever, but he didn't realize that the magic book he was holding was just a copy." Princess Jenny paced back and forth a few steps before continuing, "The court did not pursue the groom's responsibility. More than twenty years have passed in the blink of an eye, and I never expected to meet this groom here again, Instructor Henry."

Instructor Henry! Lian and Lucy were both shocked. The position of instructor was a special position in the Magic and Martial Arts Academy twenty years ago. They didn't know why the position was suddenly abolished. It turned out that Henry's true identity and status was that of an instructor. At that time, an instructor was much higher in rank than a teacher.

“Since you all already know, there’s no point in hiding anything.” With that, the man in black pulled off his hood and continued, “That’s right! I am the groom from back then, the Instructor Henry you’ve been talking about!”

Even though they already knew the identity of the man in black, Lian and Lucy still exclaimed in surprise. Judging from his appearance, Instructor Henry was only in his thirties, and he didn't look like a middle-aged man in his forties at all. Apart from the deep look in his eyes, he was still full of energy. It seemed that the years had not worn down Instructor Henry's will.

Princess Jenny hadn't expected Instructor Henry to admit his identity so quickly; she had assumed he would continue to resist.

Before Princess Jenny could continue thinking, Instructor Henry spoke first: "If you are interested in the story of the Nine Dragons Soaring, you may come to the Capital Apartments to find me tomorrow at noon. I also have a blood-red map, but the information must be known only to the three of you and not to a fourth person."

Before Princess Jenny could reply, Instructor Henry had already disappeared into the woods. After a long while, Princess Jenny raised her hand, and a huge spark appeared in the sky. Dark clouds obscured the bright moonlight, and a dazzling light shot out from the clouds, shining on the three of them before disappearing instantly. The clouds moved slowly, and after a moment, the moonlight and the woods returned to silence.

The Tomb of Qin Shi Huang (Side Story): The Dragon's Treasure, Chapter Nine: The Beauty (Not for Sale)

Chapter word count: 2794 Update time: 08-03-02 10:15

The next morning, the sun shone brightly.

Birds sing and flowers bloom, a dreamlike atmosphere prevails.

Before everyone could continue to feel euphoric, the leader gave each of them a sharp tug on the ear. A searing pain jolted them awake. Before Shanji could even rub his sleepy eyes, he shouted, "What's going on? Boss, have the palace people attacked?"

Upon hearing this, the tough guy immediately straightened up and assumed a fighting stance without hesitation, displaying a spirit of facing death without fear. The know-it-all, on the other hand, panicked and said, "Damn it! Why did they have to come now of all times? They've ruined my dream."

I quickly dressed. The palace was coming; there was no time to linger. I had to run. I never thought that after hiding for so many years, these gods would still find me. It seems that although the world is vast, finding a place to hide is as difficult as ascending to heaven.

The leader sat in his chair, crossed his legs, and waited until everyone had dressed at lightning speed before laughing and saying, "What...what are you all doing?"

"Yeah! What are we doing?" Everyone glanced at their leader, who showed no sign of nervousness, even sporting a smile. Normally, the leader would be the first to run, so why was he acting so strangely today? Could it be...?

Although it didn't make sense, Chicken still asked again, "Boss, could it really be the palace attacking?"

Everyone's hearts were in their throats. Just thinking about the monstrous nature of those knights and magicians in the palace would probably keep them up at night for three years. They had encountered such dangers twice in the past few years, and those were near-death experiences. If they hadn't risked their lives, they would probably be reporting to the King of Hell by now. And then they thought about what the guards and soldiers of the Kingdom of Kacha were compared to those in the palace. They were like the difference between heaven and earth, as vast as the stars.

Upon hearing the pheasant's question, the eldest brother laughed again: "Who said the people from the palace came to kill us? Did I say that?"

Everyone looked at each other, then made a "Yay!" gesture, dancing with joy like children. The leader shook his head, reached into his robes, and tossed out four gold cards, saying, "One gold card for each of you, with 100,000 gold coins in each card. You've all followed me for so many years, and I don't have much to give you. 100,000 gold coins isn't a lot of money, but it still makes you rich. Buy whatever you want!"

100,000 gold coins! A gold card! Hearing this, everyone was already dizzy and disoriented. Their blood was boiling, and they couldn't hear what their leader was about to say. Their eyes were already shining as they looked at the coveted item before them. They grabbed the gold card, examined it, and touched it repeatedly. It felt so soft and yielding. They even kissed it. "Oh my god! I'm finally rich!"

I thought it was a dream, but when I came to, seeing everyone's happy expressions and the gleaming gold card in my hand, I knew it really wasn't a dream. I clutched the gold card tightly to my chest and couldn't help but say to the boss, "Boss, you're the best! You're the most lovable person in the world, a god of wealth!"

The eldest brother smiled and continued, "From today onwards, you should have your own plans. Buy houses, own property, beautiful women, and luxury cars—enough to last you a lifetime. You no longer need to follow me around, wandering the world, living in constant fear."

Hearing their leader's words, everyone was stunned. They had the money, but did that mean their leader was going to travel the world alone? No way! In this world, it's all about sharing the good times and the bad, about brotherhood. This time, they couldn't sever their years of friendship. They insisted on staying with their leader to the ends of the earth, even if they weren't a pair of lovebirds, they would still be there for each other through thick and thin. Besides, they already had money. The leader was so moved that he exclaimed, "Good! With you brothers, I am already completely satisfied. We share the good times and the bad, we will never leave each other, we will be together through life and death."

Now that they had money, what should they do? That was the first question. As everyone walked out the door, the muscular man was the first to run to the apartment's reception desk, throw out his gold card, and say, "Beautiful lady, you're on my purchase!"

Wasn't that pure and proud beauty the one who greeted us a couple of days ago? I remember the muscular man once said that he would definitely buy her when he had money. It seems that he was right. The beauty looked at the gold card, then looked up at the muscular man, and smiled slightly, saying, "Sorry! I am not for sale."

Damn! What does that mean? Putting aside the Star Sea Continent, even in the Kachaer Kingdom, the rules of the trade for female slaves are that as long as the price is right, they can be bought and sold. As for non-saleable items, they can also be traded as long as the master agrees. This is the law under the rule of the empire. The authority of male and female slaves is to be bought and sold at will, and to be loyal and supportive in various professions.

The above refers to traded goods. Non-tradable goods refer to goods with more personal freedom and not swayed by money. However, if the owner agrees, that is, the parents, elder brother, or even the boss agrees, non-tradable goods can be traded. At the time of the transaction, there will be a distinction between a lifetime contract and a term contract.

Both lifetime contracts and term contracts involve long-term service, with the shortest term calculated by the hour, similar to modern prostitutes or geishas who are paid by the hour. A lifetime contract means the person cannot divorce for life and is bound by imperial law, having no personal freedom. A term contract only specifies a number of years of service, during which no divorce is permitted, and is also bound by imperial law.

Upon hearing that it was not for sale, the burly man flew into a rage, slamming his hand on the counter and declaring, "This is the item I want to buy, it's not for sale! You're buying it today!"

This is quite a spectacle! Someone is offering money to buy a public relations girl from the capital's apartment complex. This is the first time such an offer has been made in the capital. The lobby is already packed with wealthy people from the country, watching the excitement. There's a rule in the business of buying and selling: one must act within one's means. In other words, even if you have the financial resources to manage the contract, you still need the ability to protect the goods. Some things can't be solved with money. But now, a powerful man has come along. Why would a powerful man think of all that? If he has the money, he must buy her, regardless of her status or position. He'll buy her first and worry about the rest later.

When the manager of Ducheng Apartments heard that someone wanted to buy a PR girl, he was furious. This was going to ruin the reputation of Ducheng Apartments! He quickly notified the boss, and the boss led a group of staff members to the lobby in a hurry.

Seeing the boss arrive, the onlookers made way, it seemed a good show was about to begin. The boss inquired about the situation, then carefully sized up the muscular man and the group behind him. They didn't look wealthy at all, but the gold card displayed on the counter couldn't be fake. The boss picked up the gold card, examined it, and frowned: "This kind of dragon-shaped gold card is issued by the Imperial Court, only nobles possess it. How come he has one? Could it be…?"

In a mere fraction of a second, the boss's mind raced through a thousand thoughts. He figured the newcomer must have powerful connections, so he said with a forced smile, "My dear buyer, this PR receptionist, Mary Faith, is not for sale. If you insist on buying her, it will be extremely expensive."

Damn! The shopkeeper's words clearly indicated he was trying to rip the guy off with a low price, hoping to force the tough guy to back down. That was a ruthless tactic. The tough guy, however, didn't understand the shopkeeper's meaning. He thought the shopkeeper was looking down on him and that he was a swindler. Now the tough guy was furious and shouted, "Tell me! How many gold coins?"

The crowd rallied behind him, supporting the muscular man. It was a rare moment of glory for him, and he stood up straight, speaking louder than ever. The boss, seeing this, grinned sinisterly and said, "Mary Faith, the PR receptionist, quoted five thousand gold coins, offering ten thousand gold coins!"

Ten thousand gold coins! Everyone was stunned. Damn! A woman worth ten thousand gold coins? This is definitely a black market deal, an astronomical price. A commotion broke out in the hall. To be honest, none of these wealthy people were willing to spend ten thousand gold coins to buy a public relations receptionist. There are countless beauties in the Star River Continent. If the value of ten thousand gold coins is measured, it can buy N beauties on the market.

Take the owner of the antique dealership in the capital city, for example. After two generations of hard work, his total assets amounted to 12,000 gold coins. In the capital city, he was already a very wealthy tycoon. Now, a woman was worth 10,000 gold coins. Not only was the tycoon stunned, but even Mary Faith herself was dumbfounded. She never imagined that her net worth would be so high.

The boss was smug! Standing to the side, he grinned slyly, praising his own brilliant move. "Heh heh, anyone who wants to mess with me is still too green."

To everyone's surprise, the muscular man then said something that caused everyone to gasp in astonishment. Mary Faith looked completely astonished, and I was dumbfounded. Could this really be true? I reached out and pinched the muscular man's waist hard.

The Tomb of Qin Shi Huang (Side Story): The Dragon's Treasure, Chapter Ten: The Army of Beauties

Chapter word count: 2256 Update time: 08-03-02 10:16

"I'll offer 20,000 gold coins!" The moment the muscular man uttered those words, everyone in the room was stunned. No way! Are you kidding me? 20,000 gold coins for a woman? I couldn't help but reach out and pinch the muscular man's waist hard. I really hoped that what he said was just a moment of impulse. Even if you have money, you can't spend it like that.

After a moment of silence came a commotion as the wealthy discussed among themselves. They were truly astonished; a mere receptionist had sold for 20,000 gold coins. It seemed the news would spread throughout the entire Kingdom of Kachaer by the afternoon, becoming one of the most extraordinary events in the world.

The muscular man didn't react or say anything to my actions. Damn! It seems the muscular man is determined to buy her. I glanced at the owner of the Capital Apartment, whose face was ashen, like a dead pig. It seems even he was scared out of his wits.

Mary Faith stared at the muscular man, speechless with emotion. She stood there dumbfounded, completely at a loss. Suddenly, the boss realized something and quickly ordered the manager to fetch Mary Faith's indenture—20,000 gold coins! Good heavens, this was too good to be true! The boss was afraid the muscular man would change his mind, so he urged the manager to quickly complete the necessary paperwork.

The muscular man looked smug. "Damn it! I'll buy you and torture you tonight, hehe..."

Mary Faith was completely bewildered, and could only watch as the contract of servitude changed hands. The boss hurriedly collected the money like a death warrant, and Mary Faith felt a pang of pain in her heart, bitterly laughing at how all men were so greedy for money. Before Mary Faith could think any further, the boss had already grabbed her shoulders and pulled her into the arms of a muscular man, handed her a contract, and then laughed happily before disappearing into the crowd.

The excitement finally ended, and the wealthy men shook their heads and left, leaving only a few of us in the hall. I went up to the muscular man, patted him on the shoulder, and said, "Muscular man, you're something else! You treat money like dirt and finally won the heart of your beauty. Congratulations! Congratulations!"

I clasped my hands in a fist salute, and the know-it-all stood to the side and said, "Hero, you've really made a name for yourself this time. I'm truly impressed and admire you to the core. You've also helped us vent our anger. I think from now on, who will dare to look down on us?"

It would have been better if he hadn't said anything, because once he started, he couldn't stop. Chicken chuckled sinisterly, "Hehe... tough guy, you have a beautiful woman by your side, how about sharing her with us..." Before he could finish speaking, the tough guy had already swung his fist at him. Luckily, Chicken ran fast, otherwise he would have been bedridden for months.

Another PR lady stepped forward, took Mary Faith's hand, and said, "Sister Mary, I really envy you! If any rich guy were willing to do this for me, I would be willing to be his slave."

Mary didn't know what to say at this moment, so she could only stand aside and wait for the new master's instructions. In this way, Mary became the guide and led everyone to shop all over the county capital. Buying a house was the first choice. The properties in the county capital were most famous for the "Yuan" brand, which were in prime locations with complete surrounding facilities and very good detached houses with their own yards.

Upon seeing one that caught their eye, there was no need to ask any further. Each person bought a "Garden" apartment, a three-story duplex with a usable area of 1,000 square meters. Each "Garden" apartment cost 2,000 gold coins, making it one of the most prestigious properties in the capital city.

With a house, the next step, "hehe," is of course to choose beautiful women as servants. There are quite a few beautiful women in the capital city, especially the Golden Market, which is the most special. It is a place where beautiful women are abundant, and the trade in beautiful women is the most active in the country of Kachaer. There are thousands of beautiful women, and you can say that you can have everything. As long as you have money, you can choose whatever you want. As soon as you enter the Golden Market, the crowds are overwhelming and the beautiful women are moving. It is truly an eye-opener.

The auctions at the Gold Market are the most attractive part of the market. The beauties here are all spoils of war collected through conquest. The auctions are of course focused on the best. Not only must they have beautiful faces, but they must also have devilishly beautiful figures and superhuman temperaments to appear at the auction. This time, everyone has arrived at the perfect time, as the auction has already begun.

Elegant, pure, fiery, sexy, alluring, demure – beauties of every quality were available. The highest bid was only ten gold coins, which was already considered exorbitant. To think that a tough guy could spend 20,000 gold coins to buy a beauty seemed a bit... Everyone couldn't help but look back at Mary, and then compare her to the beauties they had bought. They didn't seem to feel that the difference was significant, but the price was worlds apart.

After a round of auctions, "Hehe," I bought forty beauties in total, and the total price didn't even cost three hundred gold coins. I originally wanted to buy fifty or sixty beauties, but then I thought that I would be traveling all over the world in the future, and there would be countless beauties. I could just take one while I was at it.

Chicken went all out, buying fifty beauties, while Know-It-All went even further, buying a hundred. The two agreed, saying they had never experienced a battle with beauties before. Imagine a man lying among a group of beauties, how wonderful that would be. They exchanged a glance and leered knowingly.

The muscular man wasn't to be outdone. He spent 20,000 gold coins and bought another sixty beauties! Good heavens! Buying so many beauties at once is unprecedented, except for those from the imperial court and businessmen. Today, the four of us have bought almost all the beauties at the auction, leaving none in stock. How envious! People below the hall cast strange glances at us.

This time it was a great victory. How could we possibly remember all the names of so many beautiful women? We had to take their numbers and line up from the first to the last. Walking down the street, we were quite the sight. There were so many beautiful women that we could practically form a beauties' army.

Upon entering the house, we discovered that there were too many people and the rooms were too small. So we asked the owner to let us check out and exchange for a larger space. The Super Garden Mansion was a brand new design with a vast area and complete facilities. It was a luxurious place, but it was really expensive. A single swipe of the gold card cost 10,000 gold coins. It seemed that we couldn't take the beauty with us and she could only stay in the mansion.

Having spent years roaming the martial world, we know what businesses are profitable. So, Baishitong suggested that we pool our money to buy property, mainly through tea shops, restaurants, inns, silk shops, medicine shops, and collecting rent from farmland. This resulted in the purchase of large commercial buildings and land, costing each person 60,000 to 70,000 gold coins a day. With this income, even if we go on a long trip, the beauties won't starve.

Surprisingly, some of the beauties I bought from the auction turned out to be daughters of businessmen and wealthy families—a real lifesaver! I then assigned personnel based on each person's familiarity with market conditions and characteristics, and things went smoothly. If nothing unexpected happens, I believe that making a fortune every day and becoming incredibly wealthy will no longer be a dream.

Because there are too many beautiful women, in order to manage them well, they are called the Beauty Legion. The Beauty Legion is headed by Mary as the housekeeper and leads 290 beauties. Starting tomorrow, they will sweep through the commercial markets of the capital city and march into the Kingdom of Kachaer. I can almost see the magnificent colors. I believe that in the near future, we will become truly rich people!

As dusk fell and the clouds burned like fire, I was exhausted after a long day. It had been a whole day since I left the apartment in the capital. I wondered what my boss was up to. Thinking of him, I decided to head back and say hello. I wouldn't be staying at the apartment tonight. Looking at the beautiful women in front of me, I chuckled and realized I was reluctant to leave.

The group decided to go back to see their leader and have some fun together. After so many years of wandering, they were finally doing well, and they should share the good fortune. They couldn't leave their leader out in the cold, and they also wanted to let him know how much they remembered the kindness they had shown him since childhood.
