Die Faust zerschmettert alle Himmel und unzählige Welten - Kapitel 100

Kapitel 100

The woman was staring at the restaurant. Feng Ning looked up and saw Long San talking to a man by the window. Since Long San was here to capture Lan Hu, Lan Hu was probably also there. She decided to ignore the men's business for now and keep an eye on this woman who claimed to be Feng Ning.

Just as she was about to move, she noticed the woman take a dagger out of her sleeve, then put it back, checking that it was properly placed. Feng Ning frowned, watching as the woman looked up again in Long San's direction before walking towards the restaurant's entrance.

Feng Ning rushed forward, grabbed the woman, and dragged her into the alley.

"It's you?" The woman looked surprised when she saw Feng Ning, then raised an eyebrow: "Didn't you say we'd meet again when I had evidence?"

"I don't care if you have evidence or not, I don't care." Feng Ning pinned her against the wall, one hand pressing down on her sleeve, her fingers finding a hard dagger. "What are you going to do? Are you planning to impersonate me and hurt Long San?"

“I don’t need to pretend. You’ve forgotten, I was born this way.” The woman didn’t deny it.

"If you dare to touch a single hair on Long San's head, I'll shave your head, slash your face, cut off your limbs, and throw you into the river," Feng Ning said through gritted teeth.

"Really? Don't you feel like you're slashing your own face or shaving your own hair?"

Feng Ning tightened her grip and lowered her voice, saying, "Don't try to talk your way out of this. Why are you doing this?"

"You have the man you like, and I have mine."

"You did this for Lan Hu?" Feng Ning curled her lip in disdain. "Aren't you angry that he's not sincere enough towards you?"

"If I do more for him, perhaps he will be devoted to me."

"You idiot, he's lying to you." Feng Ning suddenly realized that Long San must have found out that Lan Hu was in this town, so he devised a plan to lure him out. But Long San didn't know that Lan Hu had an accomplice who looked exactly like his wife.

"Lie to me? There's not much truth in this world. I've known him for so long, I know him well. If I were more useful, he would treat me better. I've thought it over. Instead of complaining, I should try to win him back more actively."

"If your attempt is to harm Long San, I will kill you right now."

"Have you ever thought about what our relationship is?" The woman said, "I thought about it last night. Maybe we are twin sisters. There is no other explanation for why we look so alike."

"You're quite the storyteller. If they were twins, wouldn't Mother know?"

"How do you know she doesn't know?" the woman said, her voice icy.

Feng Ning was taken aback: "You don't even trust your mother?"

“She taught me to lie a lot from childhood to adulthood. If she can teach me to lie, what’s so surprising about her lying herself?”

Feng Ning froze completely. Suddenly, she felt sorry for the woman in front of her. "You're wrong. There are still people in this world who treat you with sincerity."

"I also hope that someone can treat me sincerely. I hope that Blue Tiger can treat me like that, and will continue to treat me like that in the future."

"You despise yourself, and all you get in return is exploitation. Where can you find true love?" Feng Ning's words were like a knife, piercing the woman's heart. She stared at Feng Ning for a long time, then suddenly said, "We are indeed of one mind." She did indeed despise herself, but she had been trying so hard, yet she could not find a haven, and she was always disappointed, but she could not give up.

"I don't understand you at all." Feng Ning snatched her dagger and said fiercely, "Don't force me to kill you."

“I know you can’t bring yourself to do it.” The woman smiled coldly. “Just like last night when I wanted to kill you but couldn’t. There must be a very deep connection between us.”

Feng Ning stared into her eyes and saw stubbornness and unwillingness. She could actually read her heart. Feng Ning gritted her teeth: "I'm not like you." She paused, then said: "Don't mess with Long San, or I won't let you off the hook."

"Then don't touch Blue Tiger, he's all I have left. You know I'll do what you did, don't push me, I'm not afraid to die either."

Feng Ning trembled and whispered, "Get out."

The woman gave Feng Ning a deep look and said, "I really want to know, who exactly are you?" After she finished speaking, she turned and walked out of the alley.

Feng Ning's hand went limp, and she dropped the dagger to the ground. The woman's last words pierced her heart, "Who exactly are you?"

Feng Ning took a deep breath, then another, and suddenly ran out of the alley. She wanted to tell that woman loudly that she was Long San's wife, Long San's good wife, and to hell with all this talk about Feng Ning.

But as soon as she reached the alley entrance, she suddenly shrank back and peeked out from the alleyway. Not far away, Long San was walking towards them and met the woman face to face.

Feng Ning saw Long San smile gently, a smile he only showed when he was looking at her. He took two quick steps and reached out to hug the woman. Feng Ning's heart clenched, aching terribly.

But the next moment, Long San slowed down, his smile gradually disappeared, he stared at the woman in front of him, and softly called out, "Feng Ning?"

75. The Long couple, each with their own thoughts.

That call made Feng Ning, who was hiding in the alley, feel her blood run cold. She could no longer hold back and rushed out in a few strides, shouting, "Long San, Long San..." as she pounced on him and hugged him around the waist.

Feng Ning's heart pounded wildly. Feeling Long San's body stiffen, she panicked even more. She said to Long San, "Long San, I haven't had a chance to tell you about this yet. I didn't mean to..."

The woman claiming to be Feng Ning suddenly laughed: "Not on purpose? What do you want to say to Master Long? Tell him you're impersonating me? Tell him you're a fake? Do you dare admit it?" She had initially felt a pang of anxiety upon seeing Master Long, having been married to him for three years and never receiving a kind word from him. Moreover, she had cheated on him and fathered an illegitimate child; no matter what, she felt pressured. But seeing this fake Feng Ning rushing out in a panic to explain, she suddenly felt a surge of malice. Why should this imposter get away with it?

Feng Ning hugged Long San tightly in a panic: "I didn't impersonate him, I didn't."

Long San looked down at her. Feng Ning didn't know what to say, so she hurriedly called out, "Long San, Long San, Long San, I...I..."

"You ran off again?" Long San's expression finally softened, but what he said stunned both Feng Nings.

Long San sighed and hugged Feng Ning tightly: "Every time I'm not watching you closely, you disappear somewhere."

The woman who called herself Feng Ning pursed her lips. She thought that Long San would be surprised and react strongly, but she didn't expect him to be so calm as if he hadn't seen her at all.

Feng Ning opened her mouth, her thoughts following Long San's words, and argued, "I, I didn't run around. I was looking for you, but you were gone."

"Really?" Long San raised an eyebrow, his expression one of helplessness as if he were dealing with a mischievous child. "I clearly had guards stationed in the courtyard. They should have given me all the instructions I needed to know. Why would they let you out? Tell me, did you sneak out the window again?"

Feng Ning pouted guiltily; she had indeed done so. Long San continued, "Didn't I tell you that your body is different now, and you can't run? When you rushed over just now, did you run?"

Feng Ning kept her head down. She did indeed run, and she ran very fast, afraid of being too slow. What if Long San was instigated and got angry with her?

Thinking about it, Feng Ning finally remembered the important matter. She tugged at Long San's sleeve: "Long San, Long San, yesterday this woman said she was Feng Ning, I, I, I..."
