Söldnerprinzessin - Kapitel 5

Kapitel 5

Liang Cheng had never felt so sad as he watched an infant die right before his eyes.

The light slowly faded into the distance.

Liang Cheng felt a chill, a chill that penetrated to his very bones, as if a cold hand had brushed across him, and the hairs on the back of his neck stood on end.

“Amai, I know you’re here. Come out, let’s talk,” Liang Cheng said, mustering his courage.

But Amai did not come out.

Eight months later, Amai still hadn't shown up.

Liang Cheng and A Gu's lives returned to their former tranquility. Every morning, Liang Cheng would accompany the heavily pregnant A Gu to take a walk in the park. The two began to pour all their enthusiasm for life into their future child. Liang Cheng, in particular, was extremely attentive to this unborn child, buying many things and devising many wonderful plans. Even A Gu would sometimes feel inexplicably jealous.

You might think this story is over, but...

One night, A-Gu had a dream in which Amai walked towards her. She stood up to A-Gu and whispered in her ear, "Sister, you owe me everything now!"

Agu woke up with a scream, drenched in cold sweat, his stomach contracting painfully in waves.

My baby is about to be born!!!

Reply [14]: Vampire Passion

I met this girl late at night.

I walked home alone (I often walk home alone). When I have nothing to do, I wander around outside. Without a goal or direction. That night I felt very depressed (I often feel inexplicably depressed when I'm alone). I took a few deep breaths of fresh air, and after a moment my mood seemed to improve. Then I saw a girl walking ahead of me.

Her back view was beautiful. She had long, thick hair. She wore high heels, making her legs look long. Her gait was graceful. She was humming a song.

I moved closer to her. It had been a long time since I'd been this close to a girl's back. I tried to listen to her sing something, but I couldn't make it out.

She walked very slowly. Her hands swung rhythmically, like a clock being wound up. She carried nothing with her.

I followed her the whole time.

Reply [17]: Memories are sometimes very elusive. As I get older, I remember less and less. In fact, I hope that some things will be forgotten as quickly as possible.

That way, every day is a new day.

I can't remember the girl's face anymore. All I can remember is her name. I think her name was Night. Because she often appeared in the night. Sometimes when I was sleeping, sometimes when I came home late at night, sometimes at my window. That time I was smoking by the window; they said there was a meteor shower that day, and I waited a long time, but saw nothing. And she was wandering downstairs. She paced back and forth, dragging her twisted, lonely figure. She had her head down, and I wondered what she was thinking. Perhaps she hadn't seen the meteor shower either, and was wondering why. Ah, how nice it is, there's someone like me.

I can't remember what she ever said to me. She always spoke so softly, as if she were only talking to herself. Perhaps no one could listen to her. Thinking about it, how lonely she was. So her name could also be Loneliness. A lonely girl, a lonely night, loneliness itself.

I love solitude, I love the night.

The previous story has ended.

The answer is already quite obvious.

Reply [20]: The girl lives downstairs from my house.

Sometimes when I'm bored, I'll go to her house. She's always happy to see me. Because she has no one else to keep her company. She says she has very few friends; her former friends have either gotten married, left, or drifted apart. Now she often watches movies alone at home. She's as quiet as a blade of grass.

I watched a movie with her. She only had one movie. It was called *Vampire Romance*, and it was about a vampire. The vampire was very handsome, not at all like a vampire. She loved it. She watched it over and over again. She never got tired of it. Once she said she didn't have money to buy other movies.

She was poor. She didn't have a job. Her money came from her parents. Her parents were dead.

She didn't know how to earn money. She said she would starve to death one day. She would lie quietly at home, dying peacefully, her eyes slowly closing, her body stretching out, her arms flat, her legs straight, her lips closed. She took a bath before she died. She had never been so clean before. She looked at her body in the mirror, at her smooth, delicate skin, and she had seen enough. No one had ever touched her body except her parents.

She had no love. She had never made love.

She said she wanted to have sex with me before she died.
