Gallinas y perros vuelan en el caos y el renacimiento - Capítulo 48

Capítulo 48

She waved gently.

Then, an unbelievable change occurred.

That bizarre scene became an unforgettable nightmare for all the survivors of that night.

Chapter Sixty-Two: Massacre

The person who was riding the wind from the rooftop in the distance saw this scene and stopped in his tracks, landing down.

Tang Leyan floated forward.

Without using any weapon, without dodging or avoiding, he gripped the blade that was slashing towards him.

"Le Yan!" Chu Zhen saw it clearly, his heart pounding with fear, and he cried out.

The two assassins, however, showed delight and continued their charge, trying to cut off her hand.

Tang Leyan smiled coldly, a flash of red light passing through her eyes. She flipped her hands and gripped the two knives directly.

The two assassins felt a powerful force coming from their blades and were unable to move.

In shock, two sharp cracking sounds were heard, and the long sword was broken in two by Tang Leyan's hand.

Everyone stared in disbelief, then were horrified.

She let out a low shout, released her grip, and the broken blade fell straight to the ground from the air.

The two assassins were terrified, their eyes filled with horror. Knowing that they were not to be trifled with, they were about to retreat.

With a flick of her red sleeve, Tang Leyan unleashed a tremendous suction force from her palm. The assassins, who had already leaped backward, were suddenly pulled towards her palm by her sudden gesture.

She stood there resolutely, her body billowing in the wind, her long hair flying wildly.

With a trace of blood on his face and a cruel smile on his lips, he looked like a demon crawling out of hell.

"Hahaha..." came an extremely cold laugh.

Two assassins rushed straight for her hands, but Tang Leyan formed claws with both hands and plunged them down onto the heads of the two men.

Two bloodcurdling screams were heard, heart-wrenching and inhuman.

Tang Leyan plunged her ten fingers into the tops of the two assassins' heads. With a gentle wave of her hand, she easily lifted the two burly men, and with a slight shake in mid-air, their flesh and blood instantly turned into faint bloodstains as they fell to the ground with two loud thuds.

With a light wave of her hands, Tang Leyan transformed from a seven-foot-tall man of flesh and blood into a cloud of dissipating blood mist, as if an invisible maw in the darkness had already swallowed the two men.

This scene completely shocked everyone present.

Everyone watched in trembling fear at this unreal scene, as if it were a dream.

Before him, the man's hands were stained with blood. He raised his arms in the air, tilted his head back, and laughed loudly: "Hahahaha..." His red clothes fluttered in the wind, a thick mass of blood, exuding an air of smug satisfaction.

Is this a demon, or a monster?

"Leyan!" A voice called out from behind.

It is Chu Zhen.

At this time, she cannot tolerate any stimulation.

Speaking out at this moment is tantamount to courting death.

The ninjas were startled and all abandoned their fight with the assassin, turning to protect Chu Zhen.

As expected, Tang Leyan was still not satisfied. Upon hearing this voice, she slowly turned around.

His head was half-lowered, a bloodstain still lingered on his face, and his ghostly eyes gleamed with a terrifying bloodlust.

Upon seeing this, several of the assassins leaped into the air, attempting to retreat.

With a sweep of her gaze, she unleashed five powerful strikes, piercing the air and striking the assassins. The three assassins screamed as their bodies exploded in mid-air, turning into gruesome pieces of flesh that fell to the ground.

The remaining few, seeing this, were terrified and overwhelmed with fear, and couldn't help but bend over and vomit loudly.

Tang Leyan sneered and stepped forward.

The ninjas surrounding Chu Zhen felt a chill run down their spines, yet they all stood firmly by his side.

Her face was filled with murderous intent, as if she were possessed by a demon.

Chu Zhen stared at Tang Leyan approaching step by step, and suddenly gritted her teeth.

He pushed the ninja in front of him aside, stepped forward, and shouted again, "Leyan!"

Tang Leyan kept walking, her eyes fixed on him with a sinister look.

"Leyan, don't you recognize me, Your Excellency?" Chu Zhen went all out, her hands clenching tightly with nervousness.

Wake up! Why is this happening?

How could a perfectly normal person become...so terrifying?

She suddenly stopped in her tracks.

Chu Zhen noticed a hint of confusion in those eyes.

"I am Chu Zhen, the Grand Secretary of the Military Affairs Department! Le Yan!" he shouted desperately.

In the suffocating silence, cold sweat quietly dripped down the faces of the ninjas standing behind Chu Zhen.

The assassins, too exhausted to escape, knelt on the ground, retching.

Without making a sound, she appeared beside him like a ghost.

The ninja was greatly alarmed.

Chu Zhen hissed, "Don't move."

She reached out, her fingers still dripping with blood, and explored his body.

Chu Zhen remained motionless, a bead of cold sweat sliding down his brow into the night sky.

He stared intently into her eyes.

A terrifying finger touched his brow.

Chu Zhen even felt a slight pain as her fingers approached and cut through the skin between her eyebrows.

But he still didn't move.

Looking at that sinister face before me, for some reason, countless chaotic scenes flashed through my mind.

It was an encounter with someone many years ago, someone's self-destruction because of the passing of the woman in red, and his passionate kiss in the rain that was imprinted on his heart and lingered there for a long time. Even when she disappeared without a trace and left without saying goodbye, he remained in the same place, not taking a single step forward for more than ten years. What was the purpose of all this?

Feeling a sharp pain between his eyebrows, he slowly closed his eyes: "No one will hurt you..."

Suddenly I feel very tired, or I might just die, it wouldn't matter.

※※※※※

The finger stopped.

Tang Leyan stared blankly at the person in front of her, the redness in her eyes gradually fading.

Looking at him, her body suddenly swayed slightly.

Chu Zhen slowly opened her eyes.

She smiled slightly, then fell straight backward like a chopped tree stump.

Chu Zhen strode forward, stretched out her arms, and hugged the body tightly before it fell to the ground.

Chapter Sixty-Three Responsible

The unexpected and dramatic turn of events shocked the people hiding on the rooftop.

His eyelids drooped, his long eyelashes trembled slightly, and he murmured, "How could this be...?"

He couldn't understand why her demonic nature suddenly subsided in front of Chu Zhen. According to his speculation, if it were to flare up, it would be impossible to stop unless... Hmm, could it be that Chu Zhen has some special meaning to her?

For some reason, this thought sent chills down his spine.

However, this is for the best.

At least, he doesn't need to take action anymore.

Hehe, reached out and gently pulled the cloak to cover himself.

He had already turned around, intending to go back, but suddenly stopped and looked back. There, Chu Zhen had already picked up the man in red and, under the protection of a group of ninjas, disappeared at the end of the long street.

He was clearly seriously injured, yet he lowered himself for her sake, for such an insignificant minor official. These two are truly laughable.

On the deserted street, a faint smell of blood wafted in the wind. Only the gruesome crimson on the ground made it impossible to imagine, without witnessing it firsthand, that those were once living people.

Look up at the sky, the faint starlight seems about to fall.

He gazed at the starry night sky in solitude, unconsciously reaching out his hand, only to suddenly realize that the starlight, seemingly within reach, was actually extremely far away.

It's really cold tonight.

Chu Zhen carried Tang Leyan and hurriedly returned to the mansion.

He ordered his servants to summon the imperial physician immediately, but he couldn't wait a moment longer. He hugged her tightly and rushed to his bedroom without saying a word.

He placed her on the bed. She seemed to still be conscious, and slightly moved her eyelids, half-opening her eyes and looking at him with a slightly tipsy expression.

"Leyan, what do you think?" he asked, instinctively taking her hand in his.

She seemed to struggle for a moment, but didn't open her eyes; a smile suddenly appeared on her face.

He still couldn't speak, and his little head tilted to the side, letting out a few shallow coughs from the corner of his mouth.

He was even more anxious. He glanced at her tightly buttoned collar and realized that something was choking her, so he quickly reached out to unbutton it.

Her hand moved, then froze.

Chu Zhen unbuttoned the buttons on her collar, and his fingers inevitably brushed against the skin of her neck.

It was slightly warm to the touch.

He didn't care, and moved his hand away to wipe away a trace of blood from the corner of her lips.

Suddenly, he froze, his gaze slowly turning back to look.
