Himmlischer König - Kapitel 51
Everything went black.
He collapsed onto the cold ground, his face ashen, already unconscious.
****** *****
It was late at night.
The cold, desolate dungeon was devoid of any life, like a silent hell.
Murong Yin was not dead yet. He woke up from his coma. The dim light shone into his eyes, making his vision blurry. He could only lean there, unable to move at all.
His breathing grew heavy, his consciousness faded, and the pain in his body made him feel as if he were in a cold sea, his body growing colder and colder, his heartbeat slowing down...
Like a dream, the seawater chilled him to the bone. He slowly sank, waiting for the deathly black water to gradually engulf him...
"Thirteenth Brother."
Outside the dungeon, a clear sob of anguish pierced his numb nerves.
My silent heart trembled slightly.
A warmth slowly seeped into his already cold blood. Murong Yin seemed surprised. He struggled to open his eyes and stared blankly out of the dungeon.
There really was a girl standing there.
She was crying, her face, white as jade, glistening with tiny tears. She stood on the filthy floor of the dungeon, her lake-green dress soaked with blood from the cracks in the stones.
She called him Thirteenth Brother.
Murong Yin was completely bewildered. He couldn't tell if this was a dream or reality. The girl in front of him was too real, with such familiar features, just like the name that had lingered in his heart for many years.
Murong Yin's voice trembled, "...Little...Little Ci..."
He had barely finished speaking when...
The girl outside the prison suddenly knelt down in front of him, her hands gripping the cold stone bars tightly, and scalding tears streaming down her face.
"Thirteenth Brother..."
She was sobbing uncontrollably, heartbroken, crying out, "I am Xiao Ci, I am Murong Ci!"
Kneeling outside the dungeon was Mei Ji, Ye Chuhan's concubine.
She is Murong Ci!!
Since she ran away from the Murong family at the age of fifteen, Murong Yin and Hua Chen have searched for her all over the country for six years. But who would have thought that she would come to the Tianshan Snow Gate and become Ye Chuhan's concubine.
Looking at Murong Ci crying outside.
Murong Yin stared blankly at her attire, his pupils gradually narrowing. "You..."
“Thirteenth Brother, I… I am now…” Murong Ci stretched out his hands and gripped the stone fence tightly, his face was ashen, his eyes were filled with tears of regret, and he made intermittent painful sobs.
"I am now... Mei Ji, Ye Chu Han's concubine."
Murong Yin's face turned ashen in an instant.
He felt the chilling ice and snow seeping into his heart and lungs, penetrating his very bones. His already weakened body trembled, and a mouthful of blood gushed from his cracked lips. His bright yellow clothes were once again stained with fresh bloodstains.
Xiao Ci...
She actually became Ye Chuhan's concubine!
He coughed up blood and collapsed to the ground, unable to move!
Murong Ci frantically threw herself against the stone fence, pounding on it with her fists and crying out, "...Thirteenth Brother...I'm sorry...Thirteenth Brother—!"
No one responded to her.
Inside the dungeon, a weak, pale figure seemed on the verge of death.
“…Thirteenth Brother…say something…” Murong Ci panicked even more. She couldn’t hear his breathing, but she could see red blood seeping into the cracks in the stone floor.
"Thirteenth Brother... I'm sorry... I had no choice..."
"Don't you... feel ashamed?"
The weak figure who had fallen on the cold stone ground remained there, his faint voice carrying suffocating pain as he slowly spoke.
"You...get out—"
Murong Ci froze instantly, a hot tear silently sliding down her frozen cheek, "Thirteenth Brother..."
"roll--!!!"
Murong Yin seemed to have used his last ounce of strength. He trembled as he raised his head, his eyes blazing with fury, glaring at the tearful girl outside the cell, and hoarsely shouted:
"You are Ye Chuhan's concubine, the sworn enemy of the Murong family! Get out!! Don't ever appear before me again, do you hear me?! Get out! Get far, far away from me—!!"
Murong Yin roared furiously, like a raging storm.
But tears of sorrow streamed down his face like a torrential downpour...
He told her to get out, he didn't acknowledge her, and he cursed her fiercely.
Because he knew.
As long as she is not a member of the Murong family, she will not be in any danger of being killed!
