Yang Ke, who had just reached the bottom of the stairs, was bumped aside by Ye Xun, who rushed down from upstairs. The two walked across a small bridge and through a grove of weeping willows. The lights shone brightly beneath their feet, creating a path that seemed to lead to heaven or a bridge of magpies floating among the stars. Tong Tong couldn't contain her excitement and began to dance along this path. The evening veiled the ripples of Emerald Lake, its mirror-like surface appearing more serene. However, the reflections of the lamps rippled gently on the lake's surface, and a gentle breeze stirred, mingling their breaths together.
