Kapitel 85

What to buy? It's so unmysterious. Cecil propped his head up and looked out the window, bored. Almost everyone on the street was in pairs, very close together, chatting and laughing.

As Cecil watched, a bitter smile involuntarily tugged at the corner of his mouth. For him and Isri, they could only go one after the other.

Bored, Cecil lowered the curtain and leaned back in the seat, squinting his eyes.

When will these guys who hide be discovered? What will happen if they are discovered? Will they be sent to the stake?

Just like the first time I saw those two people embracing each other, surrounded by flames?

He didn't want that, even if it was like this, it didn't belong to them. Even if it was eventually discovered, he might end up being buried in the rose garden.

"Young Master, I've finished shopping." Isri's voice reached his ears, and Cecil turned around, smiled, and responded.

Chapter 140

"What would you like to buy, young master?" Isri asked.

"You can buy whatever you want," Sehir said dismissively, sounding somewhat dejected.

"good."

Isri didn't say anything more, but the carriage moved faster as it passed the execution platform.

By mid-morning, the preparations for Christmas were almost complete. Perhaps due to the thick clouds, the sky darkened, and the Christmas trees in the central square were lit up.

Even though it's not Christmas yet, the streets are already decorated with every single decoration.

Isri wasn't in a hurry to go back. He parked the carriage in the central square, where there were the most people. Sehir paused for a moment and looked at Isri.

Aren't you going back?

Isri got out of the front seat and, taking advantage of the passersby's inattention, kicked himself into the back seat, sitting next to Cesil.

"What are you doing?" Sehir asked, somewhat puzzled.

Islam looked at Sehir without saying anything, but took out a well-wrapped candy from his pocket; it was grape-flavored.

Sehir glanced at it and smiled: "You said you were going out to buy this this morning?"

Isri was taken aback by Cesil's words, then a smile crept across his face: "Young Master, you can understand it that way too."

With his head down, Isri carefully unwrapped the paper. A round, purple candy lay inside. Isri paused, then held the candy to Ceshir's lips.

For a moment, Sehir looked at Isri with a puzzled expression, but in the end, he moved his head and swallowed the candy.

"Does the young master know why I stopped here?" Isri folded the candy wrapper and put it in his pocket.

Sehir slightly pulled back the curtain and glanced outside. There were far more people in the evening than in the morning.

"Why?"

Sesil held the candy to one side of his face, making his cheeks puff out round.

The cramped space was filled with the aroma of candy, and the scent of grapes lingered in the carriage, gradually becoming stronger.

Isri's smile darkened slightly. He raised his hand and tucked Cesil's hair behind her ear, then leaned closer.

Before Sehir could even react with fear, Isri's mouth fell down, and Sehir, eyes wide, began to shove Isri.

Isri raised his hand and grasped Cesil's wrist, pressing it to his ear, his voice low: "Young Master, don't move, there are many people outside right now."

Sure enough, as soon as he said that, Cesil immediately quieted down and relaxed his body to accommodate Isri's movements.

What is Islam trying to do?

It was quiet inside the carriage, but you could clearly hear what the passersby were saying. They were inside the carriage, only covered by a thin curtain.

Having finally gotten a breath of fresh air, Sehir gasped for air and looked at Isri with some fear.

"What are you doing? We'll be found out."

Isri's gaze darkened, his narrow phoenix eyes narrowed slightly, and his amber pupils looked at Ceshir with a possessive intent.

Isri removed his gloves, reached out, and lightly brushed his thumb against Cesil's lips before tilting his head to press his lips to his thumb, his tone slightly seductive.

"So sweet."

In an instant, Cesil's ears burned intensely, and he turned his head away, unable to meet Isri's gaze.

"Shameless!"

Isri smiled, then leaned in close. Looking into Isri's eyes, which held an unprecedented intensity, Sehir was stunned for a moment, and a sneer fell from his lips.

The outside was still noisy, and the two people inside the car breathed heavily together. The candy in their mouths had almost melted. Isri raised his hand and touched Cesil's face.

The light obscured seven or eight parts of Isri's vision, and his voice became somewhat hoarse. At that moment, deafening fireworks erupted outside.

"I want everyone to know that even when we're in the mud, we can still speak openly and honestly."

Sehir opened his eyes wide, and tears began to well up in his eyes. After a while, Sehir chuckled softly and looked up to meet Isri's gaze.

“Isri,” Ceshir called softly, as the fireworks outside grew louder. “I do.”

As he spoke, Sehir straightened up and pressed his lips to those still trembling lips.

Regardless of the state of the world or what constitutes truth, these are merely human perceptions of reality. However, living in this era, one must adhere to its truths.

But what does this truth have to do with me?

He went against the truth of the times, but he was willing to do so.

-

The house looks less deserted than before because of the decorations. Christmas Day came quickly, and unfortunately, it also happened to be a day of prayer.

It seemed that Islam had been preparing for this day for a long time. Before dawn, Islam had already begun preparing everything for Sehir.

"Young master, I'd like to take you somewhere first."

Sesil was somewhat taken aback: "Where to?"

Isri lowered his head slightly: "Young Master, you'll find out when you get there."

These past few days, Isri has been hiding something, and Ceshir couldn't ask him, so he could only respond in kind.

Sehir sat in the carriage, his eyelids drooping, and soon he fell asleep by the window.

"Young Master," Isri called softly.

Sehir stirred, opened his eyes, and was stunned for a moment when he saw the scene outside.

Before us lay a vast rose garden, and because of the cold weather, some of the roses had frost on them.

"What are you doing here?" Sehir asked, somewhat surprised, as he got out of the car.

“Young Master.” Isri raised his arm for Sehir to support.

He needs to take some action; it's time to end this covert operation.

The two were surrounded by roses. Isri held Cecil's hand and said softly, "Young Master, are you willing to end this absurd relationship between us?"

Sehir looked at Isri with wide eyes, as if doused with a bucket of cold water, and asked in a trembling voice, "What do you mean?"

End what? The relationship?

A look of fear flashed across Sehir's eyes. Isri seemed to realize he had said something wrong and quickly knelt on one knee, looking at Sehir.

"Young Master, that's not what I meant."

As he spoke, he pulled a black velvet box from his pocket. The box was not large, but Isri held it with a slight tremor, his gaze shifting away from Ceshir's face.

“Although it’s even more absurd, I still want to try it.” Isri lowered his head and slowly opened the box.

Cecil could see clearly that there were two rings inside. The bright silver rings were engraved with patterns, which were simple yet elegant, like a hidden noise, flamboyant yet restrained.

“I want to…we’ll get married.” Isri’s voice was very soft as he tentatively opened his mouth.

Sehir looked at Isri, whose hand, still dangling in mid-air, was somewhat unsteady, as if he was trying his best to steady himself.

Sehir was amused by Isri's actions; large rose petals were swept up by the wind and blown everywhere, even his words were blown into fragments.

After a moment, Isri steadied himself and looked up at Ceshir: "Are you willing?"

Sehir took a step forward, getting closer to Isri. The feeling was so unreal that he almost thought the world would approve of them.

"Why don't you put it on me?" Cecil said softly with a smile.

Isri's heart was racing. The next day, the beams of light were gradually rising, and his golden hair, blown about by the wind, was disheveled in the air.

So beautiful, it's unreal.

“Okay.” Islam opened his mouth in a trembling voice.

The cool ring was slipped onto the ring finger of her left hand; it was the perfect size and suited Cecil's hand perfectly.

"Is it beautiful?" Sesil asked.

"nice."

“I’ll get you the other one.” Cecil smiled and took out another ring.

"Young Master, I can do it myself." Isri was still a little confused and at a loss.

Sesil chuckled: "As my lover, I should be the one to put the ring on your finger."

"My love," Isri paused again, staring blankly at Sehir.

Sehir lifted Isri's left hand and slowly removed the glove, pushing the ring up gently. Isri's gaze remained fixed on Sehir's face.

What are you looking at me for?

"Looks good," Isri said weakly.

Sehir put the glove back on Isri's hand, completely covering the ring. Sehir couldn't help but smile wryly, feeling somewhat wry.

Isri stood up, suddenly pulled Ceshir into his arms, and whispered, gently repeated a sentence.

"I love you, Cecil."

Cesil's eyes curved slightly at the corners, and when he released Isri, the corners of his eyes were a little red.

"Let's go, we're going to be late."

-

The prayer went smoothly. No one knew what had happened in the rose garden that morning, nor would anyone know that the roses there were the only witnesses, and would always be the first witnesses.
