Kapitel 13

Upon hearing Cecil's words, the maid behind Rex Anna couldn't help but chuckle, but she immediately suppressed it, struggling to keep her trembling.

"What are you laughing at!" Rex Anna was furious and turned to scold the maid.

Instantly, the maid lowered her head even further. Rex Anna's face turned red with anger, and she turned around, intending to slap Cecil across the face.

Sehir had already taken a few steps back, and suddenly, he caused the other person to stumble and fall.

Sehir said he was also helpless, after all, the woman's perfume was too strong.

Seeing the woman trembling with anger, Cecil feared she might throw a tantrum, so he decided it was best to leave first.

Thinking this, Sehir turned around and walked towards the platform in the distance, where the smoky atmosphere made it hard for him to breathe.

As Rex Anna watched Cecil about to leave, she got up to chase after her, but was stopped by her younger sister.

"Sister, don't provoke them."

The younger sister could tell that Cecil's upbringing was something no fallen nobleman could produce.

"Get out of my way! Don't stop me!" Rex Anna shoved the girl away. The girl crashed heavily into a pillar behind her, coughed a few times, and then lay motionless on the ground.

Without even glancing at the person lying on the ground, Rex Anna charged straight at Cecil.

The maid following behind Rex Anna helped the girl up when Rex Anna wasn't looking, saying, "Miss, let's go, you can't control her."

"Hey! You stop right there!" Rex Anna yelled.

There weren't many people there, and Cecil didn't care about the etiquette of the nobles. He raised his hand, put his top hat on his head, and walked towards the platform.

Seeing that she couldn't get anyone to stop her, Rex Anna gritted her teeth, lifted her skirt, and ran to Cecil.

Seeing this, Sehir took another step back, his brows furrowing slightly.

We almost bumped into each other.

“Didn’t you hear me calling you? Are you deaf?” Rex Anna shouted at Cecil.

Sehir looked at the person in front of him, a hint of disgust flashing in his eyes, but his voice remained elegant and calm: "Your ears should also be treated; you don't need to speak so loudly."

Rex Anna trembled with rage, her eyes red as she roared again, "I'm not sick!"

Sesil raised his head, his disdain intensifying, as if flashing with cold light. Rex Anna was momentarily stunned.

Cecil parted his lips slightly, his voice turning cold: "Of course you're not sick, what you're doing is..."

Sehir paused, and Rex Anna met Sehir's gaze again, her tone still seemingly in control: "What are you yelling for? Say something nice, and maybe I'll let you go!"

Cecil's lips curled up, and to prevent the person in front of him from lunging at him again, he took another step back and opened his mouth.

"What you're experiencing is called 'wild chicken emotional breakdown syndrome'."

Rex Anna was clearly stunned, standing there staring at Cecil in disbelief.

Sehir didn't care about any of that. He walked past Rex Anna and left. Talking to these people was a waste of time.

He had only taken a few steps when bursts of crying came from behind him. The voices sounded so fake that they seemed unbelievable. Sehir felt disgusted by the sound and quickened his pace to reach the platform.

Instantly, the sound was shut out from the door. The stone pillars on the platform were made of marble, and they were cool to the touch, which helped to relieve the dizziness and headache from before.

As Sehir leaned against the stone pillar, closing his eyes to rest, his gaze was suddenly drawn to the people standing below.

Islam?

Sehir perked up and stared intently at the person standing on the lawn. Isri had a smile on his face, bowed slightly, and spoke in a voice that was not loud but loud enough for Sehir to hear.

"Young master, it's chilly outside, remember to go back later."

Looking at Isrith, who was only wearing a thin butler's uniform, and then at himself who was wearing layers upon layers of clothing, Sehir really thought there was something wrong with Isrith's head.

Seriously, it's like a ghost that won't go away!

"You! You're not yourself! You bullied my sister!"

Just as Sehir turned his gaze away from Isri, he heard a questioning voice behind him.

"Brother, it's him, it's him, he's the one who bullied me! He insulted me!" Rex Anna tugged at her brother's sleeve, looking pitiful.

Sehir turned his head, clicked his tongue inwardly, stepped down from the stone platform, and looked at the two people in front of him.

"I am Rek Lis, the eldest son of the Rek family. May I ask who you are?"

Sehir raised an eyebrow slightly; he seemed to be a reasonable person, but he simply wouldn't say anything.

Sehir repeated, "Sehir."

Rex's eyes instantly flashed with disdain. He assumed that Cesil, without mentioning a prefix, must be a fallen nobleman. Thinking of this, his voice became even more arrogant: "Prefix? Which nobleman?"

Rex Rhys planned to make fun of Cecil when he finally said it.

Sehir removed his top hat, placed it on his chest, and gave a gentlemanly bow: "I'm sorry, I can't tell you that."

Rex's eyes were filled with mockery as he stepped forward: "What's wrong with saying this? Is it because your status is too low?"

Rex's eyes caught sight of Cecil's clothes. He paused for a moment, then suddenly realized something: "Could these clothes have been borrowed?"

Cecil, still adhering to his principle of avoiding trouble, continued, "So be it."

Seeing that he couldn't provoke Cecil's anger, Rex thought of his sister and asked again, "What did you say to my sister?"

Sesil tilted his head slightly, looked at Rex Anna standing behind him, and smiled: "Why don't you ask her yourself?"

Instantly, Rex Anna's face turned pale and then purple, her teeth itching with anger.

"Brother, look at him!"

Chapter Twenty-One

Rex turned his head and gently patted his sister's head, his voice soft: "It's alright, leave it to your brother."

After saying that, he turned his head and glared at Cecil, his tone sinister: "Kneel down and apologize!"

“I refuse.” Cecil met Reklis’s gaze without flinching, his tone firm.

Rex was infuriated by Cecil's nonchalant attitude, and clenched his fist to punch Cecil.

Cecil immediately saw the flaw in this reckless move, and with a light dodge, sent his opponent staggering.

Having embarrassed himself in front of his sister, Rick Rixon blushed to the tips of his ears, his eyes flashing with a fierce red light as he stared at Cecil like a hungry wolf.

Seeing that Cecil remained expressionless, Rex's head exploded, and he trembled all over.

He, the eldest son of the Rex family, a man revered by all, is now being looked down upon by an unknown nobody.

Rex clenched his fist again, let out a low growl, and charged toward Cecil. Cecil could have dodged, but he slipped and lost his balance, and the fist came crashing down on him, grazing his face and leaving a red mark.

Seeing that he had finally hit the target, Reklis stood up and started taunting, "Weren't you so good at dodging? Come on, try again!"

Sehir frowned, a hint of displeasure in his eyes. He turned his head, intending to call Isri to come and deal with the situation, but found that Isri had already disappeared.

Seeing Cecil's absent-minded look, Rex instinctively gave his sister a wink.

As expected, Rex Anna instantly understood, and in the brief moment that Cecil wasn't looking at her, she pounced on her and hugged Cecil's arm.

Immediately, Sehir was startled. A chill ran from his feet straight up to his tailbone, and he felt as if he had fallen into an ice cellar. His eyes were terrifyingly cold.

Rex Anna was still unaware of the seriousness of the situation and was still clinging tightly to Cecil's arm.

Sehir raised his arm, swung it sharply, and threw the person hanging on his arm away. His eyes were cold, and his tone was icy: "Get out of here!"

Rex Anna was intimidated by Cecil's appearance, but Rex Lis was not. He pointed at Cecil arrogantly and said, "You're giving me face, aren't you?"

From birth until now, Sehir had never been in such close contact with anyone except Isri. Suddenly, nausea surged up from the bottom of his throat, and fear and unease filled his mind.

"Stay away from me!" A murderous glint flashed in Cecil's eyes as he met Reklis's gaze.

Just as Rex was about to say something, Cecil took a step back, pulled his top hat back onto his head, and spoke in an even colder tone.

"As the head of the Cretis family, I order you to get out of my way!"

On the silent platform, completely out of place with the ball inside, Cecil's words instantly froze the two of them in place.

Rex's mouth visibly froze for a few seconds, then he looked Cecil up and down, stammering, "You... what evidence do you have!"

Sehir frowned, then his gaze fell on Isri standing on the second-floor windowsill. His unease rose again in an instant, and the hatred in his eyes became even more obvious.

Do I need to tell you?

Reklis was now somewhat hesitant to meet Cesil's eyes. So far, the only great noble family in the West Asian continent was the Kritis family, and his father had specifically asked him to have a good conversation with them.

What do we do now? Is what he said true or false?

Rex didn't dare to speak anymore, but Rex Anna next to him seemed completely unconcerned. Having been pampered since childhood, she had never suffered such grievances.

"I don't care who you are, I want you to apologize to me!" Rex Anna shouted at the top of her lungs, and immediately, the people outside heard it and looked inside.

Sehir's eyes showed even more disgust and loathing, and he parted his thin lips slightly: "Isri."

The next second, a dark figure leaped over the marble railing from the second-floor window and stood steadily next to Cecil.

The black tuxedo was clean and neat, and her white gloved hands rested lightly on her shoulders, exuding elegance and nobility. Her deep black hair was tucked behind her ears, and she looked like a demon descended from the sky, standing under the white moonlight, waiting for the last chance to devour and possess it.

“Young Master,” Isri called out, and Cesil trembled even more violently.

This sound was the same as usual, but it was eerily chilling, as if it had been pulled from an ice cave.

“Let’s go back.” Ceshir spoke very briefly, afraid that Isri would hear the tremor in his voice caused by fear.

“Yes,” Isri said calmly, his eyes taking in the two people beside him.

"What...what's going on? What happened?" Upon receiving the news, the head of the Leik family rushed over, glanced at his two children, and then quickly bowed.

“Your Excellency Cretis, please forgive my son if he has offended you.”

Sehir looked down at the person in front of him, his eyes devoid of pity, his tone still indifferent: "You should teach your child a lesson."

After saying that, Sehir walked past the person in front of him and walked out under everyone's gaze. As soon as he stepped off the platform, he saw the girl who called him His Highness the Holy Son.

Sehir's eyes flickered as he stood still. Only after everyone's gaze turned to him did Sehir take off his hat, place it in front of his chest, and bow slightly, saying, "I'm sorry for the trouble I've caused you tonight."

A gasp rippled through the crowd, but Cecil ignored it, turned and walked outside, ignoring his master calling after him.

Although the carriage was insulated, Cecil felt cold all over, and Isri remained silent.

What should have been a long journey felt like only a few minutes to Sehir.
