Kapitel 83

"How many years has he been with you?" Bonal Irene asked bluntly.

Sehir, his expression somewhat vague about the numbers, opened his mouth and replied, "More than ten years."

At this point, Bonal Irene's eyebrows twitched, and Cecil took in all of these expressions.

Chapter 137

Seeing that Bonal Irene remained silent, Sehilton paused, then opened his mouth: "Your Majesty, why don't you speak frankly?"

Immediately, Bonal Irene's expression improved, and she met Cecil's gaze: "My Bourne has been with me for over ten years."

Bonal Irene muttered to herself, then her gaze fell on Cecil's lips, a hint of suspicion flashing in her eyes, and she moved her body forward slightly.

"Were you...?" Bonal? Irene didn't finish her sentence, but she could see the terror flash in Cecil's eyes.

Bonal Irene felt it necessary to clarify her true intentions.

“Bourne took care of me since I was a child. I rarely saw my parents. To me, Bourne is more important than anything else.”

Sehir was stunned. Hearing about the Queen's background, he was so shocked that the scene couldn't even be described as strange; it was downright astonishing.

After talking for a while, Bonal Irene realized that she had gone off-topic, so she quickly took back what she had said.

"I love my Bourne."

Upon hearing this, Sesil felt as if he had fallen from the sky to the ground.

Upon closer inspection, aside from her status as a queen, the person in front of her was merely a girl younger than herself, fantasizing about love.

Seeing that Cecil remained silent, Bonal Irene assumed that the other party did not believe her, so she quickly moved her body forward and stared directly at Cecil.

"I'm telling the truth."

Sesil gave a slight smirk and nodded. "I understand."

The person in front of him was truly ruthless, and truly foolish as well. Sehir felt somewhat helpless.

"What would Your Majesty like to ask?"

Bonal Irene's eyes lit up: "You should understand our identities, so how did you do it?"

Sehir felt a bit of a headache and wondered if he should have Isrith teach a class to Bourne about his deeds.

Just as he was about to speak, Cecil turned his head slightly and saw Byrne looking into the French windows in the distance, his gaze falling on Bonal Irene's back.

Isri happened to be standing nearby, giving Bourne the cold shoulder.

Sesil was amused and laughed out loud, while Bonar Irene looked at Sesil with some confusion.

"Why don't you take the initiative and give it a try?"

Bonal Irene was somewhat shocked: "Me, take the initiative?"

"After all, you are the Queen, a revered figure. How could a servant dare to..."

Bonal Irene thought Cecil made some sense. She was the queen, and she was in charge of the whole country. Byrne had always respected her, so how could he possibly speak up?

“What if he disagrees? Or what if he has to give in to my consent? I don’t want that.” Bonal Irene’s gaze darkened.

"I think you should give it a try; you might be pleasantly surprised." Cecil didn't finish his sentence, but his eyes crinkled at the corners, making his words seem quite convincing.

Bonal Irene looked at Cecil, and after a brief silence, Bonal Irene stood up from her stool.

Before Sehir could react, she threw herself into Sehir's arms, pressed her hand to her face, and kissed the back of her hand.

Not only was Cecil stunned, but the two people standing outside also stared wide-eyed at the inside. Bonal Irene's tone was tinged with amusement.

“Since you helped me out, I have to help you back,” Bonal Irene said with a smile, straightening up.

See you next time.

Even after Bonal Irene left through the door, Sesil remained seated, frozen in disbelief.

When the sound of carriages could be heard again outside, Isri pushed open the door and walked towards Sehir with somewhat hurried steps.

"I'm sorry, young master."

As Islam spoke, she pulled a handkerchief from her chest and wiped Sehir's face. Only then did Sehir realize what the Queen meant.

If you know so much, why ask him?

Cesil looked up at Isri, his tone teasing: "Getting impatient?"

Isri was clearly flustered, speaking without thinking: "She actually kissed me..."

Seeing Isri's flustered state, Sehir found it even more amusing: "They didn't kiss."

"real?"

"real."

Isri stared intently at Sesil, and the next second he scooped Sesil up from the stool. Sesil was startled: "What are you doing?"

"I think it would be better for the young master to take a bath."

Sehir narrowed his eyes slightly, his smile fading a bit as he looked at Isri: "Why are you so nervous?"

“I don’t want anyone other than myself to touch you…” Isri replied to Sehir.

"Would that disgust you?" Sehir finished Isri's unspoken question.

Isri paused for a moment, his gaze darkened, and he didn't speak. Sehir looked at Isri's face and opened his mouth again after a long while.

“I remember you said that before.” Seysel paused. “So, you’re still thinking about the past? Or rather, you want to lock me in a cage again?”

As Sehir was speaking, Islam happened to walk to the doorway. Backlit, Islam concealed about 70-80% of his expression. Islam then placed Sehir back on the ground.

"What's wrong? Did I hit the nail on the head?" Sehir looked up at Isri.

With a loud "bang!", Isri slammed his hand on the door behind Sehir, trapping Sehir in his arms.

“I didn’t.” Islam lowered his head. “I won’t do it again.”

Sehir chuckled and raised his hand to stroke Isri's face: "Don't be nervous, I was just saying."

Isri tightened his grip, but did not move his hand away.

“Young Master, I…” Isri raised an eyebrow. “I won’t do that again. I’m ashamed, I know…”

Islam's shoulders shrugged slightly, and his voice was a little unsteady: "You didn't punish me, nor did you sell me off. I really don't know how to respond to you."

"I just want to keep you by my side, I want to love you."

Isri pressed his head against the door, and Ceshir leaned on Isri's shoulder. Isri's body trembled slightly, and a cautious voice came from above.

“I love you, Cecil.”

I love you.

With the light flickering, Isri shrouded Ceshir in darkness. Throughout the entire continent of West Asia, their existence was like a joke, a joke tied to the stake.

But if he doesn't tell anyone, how long will this cycle go on? Hundreds of years or even thousands of years. He can't wait, since this person is right in front of him.

His intense love told him that all he could do, all he was capable of, was to hide the person he loved.

Ceshir's vision darkened, and he pushed Isri away slightly, allowing the light to fall back on Ceshir.

“Isri…” Sehir looked up at Isri.

“Yes…” Isri replied with his head down.

Cecil reached out, pinched Isri's chin, and lifted his head: "I think I should give you a response again."

Sehir stood on tiptoe, mimicking Isri's gesture, tilted his head, and gently placed his soft lips on Isri's lips. The awkward kiss lasted only a few seconds before Sehir moved his head away.

"My answer might be the same as yours."

"I love a reckless coward."

Chapter 138

As Isri looked into Ceshir's eyes, his heart pounded like a bottle of red wine, an alluring scent filling the air between them.

“Young Master…” Isri paused, “Are you telling the truth?”

Sesil's lips curled back: "Say it only once."

Then, less than a second later, Islam leaned in again, lifted Sehir up and pinned him against the door. The movement was so fast that Sehir was still in shock when Islam's lips pressed down on him.

Cesir, suspended in mid-air, could not exert any strength and could only wrap his arms around Isri's neck, letting Isri do as he pleased.

Finally, after being silenced by the mouth, Cecil caught his breath and asked, "Do I need to wash again?"

"want."

As Islam spoke, it reached out and pushed the door open. Ceshir was jolted and quickly hugged Islam tightly.

In the bathroom, Sehir was soaking in the water, leaning against the edge of the bathtub in a daze. Isri was getting dressed and looking at Sehir.

"What are you thinking about, young master?"

Hearing the voice, Sehir stirred and met Isri's gaze: "Tell me, what will happen one day when our affair is discovered?"

Isri frowned slightly, knelt on one knee in front of Ceshir, and said firmly, "I won't let them find out."

Sehir smiled, his tone seemingly helpless: "I mean, what if, what if we were one day sent to the stake?"

“No, I won’t.” Isri lowered his head slightly, his tone tinged with reluctance. “I will hide you well. Even if I am caught, I will hide you somewhere that no one can find.”

Cecil scoffed and tilted his head: "I don't want to. I don't like being alone."

Isri's eyes narrowed slightly as he looked up at Sehir, who said with a slight parting of his thin lips, "If it really comes to that, I think I will choose to stand with you."

Islam's eyes gleamed, but he couldn't bring himself to say what was on his mind.

“Isri,” Cehir called softly, a hint of amusement in his voice, “Why are you so timid?”

“I…” Isri gritted his teeth and shifted his gaze to the side: “I’m afraid of losing you.”

Sesil curled his lips into a smile and hung half of his body over the edge of the bathtub.

"Isri, do you want it?"
