Bergbanditen sind unterwegs - Kapitel 7
"I don't care who you are. Young women, running into a strange man's room late at night, who can you complain to? And who can say you're right?" Mo Xibei twisted his hand, neatly pressing the "Murong Lianyun" in his hand to the ground. He moved his fingers lightly and said, "Tell me, is it a good idea for me to strip her naked and hang her on the bow of the boat so that the world can see just how stunning the so-called number one beauty in the martial arts world really is?"
"Disgusting! You shameless!" Murong Lianyun fainted when he felt Mo Xibei's fingers touch his clothes. The remaining attendant who had just spoken rushed over excitedly.
"Honglu, tie her up." Mo Xibei pressed several acupoints on "Murong Lianyun" and casually tossed them to Honglu. Then he stood up, dodged the attacks of the two followers who were in front and behind him, and with a wave of his hand, he had already grabbed the arms of the two men, one in each hand.
"Get your filthy hands off me," the two women said almost simultaneously. However, it was too late. Mo Xibei not only didn't let go, but also pressed their pressure points, causing both women to fall limply to the ground. The one who had been talking earlier was caught by Mo Xibei's outstretched arm. "The number one beauty in the martial arts world, I want to see if she is truly beautiful or just a name without substance."
When Honglu heard Mo Xibei say this, she prepared to remove the veil covering the young woman she had tied up. However, Mo Xibei didn't even look at her. Instead, he quickly laid the woman he had just caught flat on the bed, and then reached out and slowly removed the thick veil covering the woman's head.
In an instant, the brilliance of the stars and moon lost its color.
Honglu thought to herself, but she couldn't find a suitable word to describe the woman lying on the bed in front of her.
It cannot be described by the word "beautiful" alone, but without it, the amazement in my heart cannot be expressed. In this world, there really is such a beauty, with skin so white and translucent, and features as perfect as jade carvings, flawless to the extreme.
"Truly a beauty." Mo Xibei seemed stunned for a while before murmuring, gently stroking that exquisite face. "You are the real Murong Lianyun, aren't you?" The question was asked, but spoken with certainty.
"Since you know who I am, why are you still so disrespectful?" Tears welled in the eyes of the real Murong Lianyun. "Do you know that every move you make now will become a reason for me to kill you in the future?"
"You don't need a reason to kill me," Mo Xibei said. "With your beauty, you'd better not keep thinking about killing people."
"You—" Murong Lianyun wanted to say something, but she couldn't utter a word. Mo Xibei suddenly leaned down and kissed her on the cheek. After the kiss, his eyes, which had been hazy and cold, were now filled with a bright, sparkling smile. In that instant, Murong Lianyun heard her heart pounding under the gaze of this frivolous scoundrel. She was used to her beauty and had felt nothing when she first saw Mo Xibei. Only now did she suddenly feel as if the clouds had parted and the sun had risen, as if the closed doors of her heart had been forcefully pushed open. "You will pay the price for what you've done," she said again, her voice no longer sharp.

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival to everyone!!!

"Although I don't know what the price will be, I don't mind too much." Mo Xibei smiled, feeling quite pleased with herself. She liked beautiful things and people, but she dared not make a move on the handsome Chu Junfeng. No matter what, there was a difference between men and women. Although she didn't mind pretending to be a man for the rest of her life, she would always feel awkward if she were exposed one day and they met again. But this beauty from Lianyun was different. They were both women. She might feel like she was at a disadvantage now, but in the long run, neither of them would be at a disadvantage. Thinking of this, she completely ignored the murderous glare that Honglu was giving her.
Honglu really wanted to kill the guy in front of her. It was one thing for him to tease the girls on the pleasure boats, but today he went even further, daring to flirt with the daughter of the martial arts alliance leader. Judging from his appearance, he really did think he was a real man just because he was dressed as a man. Wasn't he crazy? He was insane!
"Now tell me, what's been going on these past few days?" Mo Xibei lay down next to Murong Lianyun. "What about all those people who died?"
"A dead person?" Murong Lianyun and her two servants seemed to be taken aback, forgetting the proper separation between men and women and that Mo Xibei shouldn't be so close to her. "What dead person? Who died?"
"You know perfectly well what I'm asking." Mo Xibei was about to say something when he suddenly heard someone outside shout, "Fire!"
Stepping out of the cabin, Mo Xibei was immediately startled by the towering flames before him. A ship that had come with him was engulfed in flames, and the people on board were frantically jumping into the water to save themselves. However, many more people were trapped in the lower deck and were unable to get out in time, desperately calling for help.
"Young Master Mo, should we save them?" Honglu also ran over at that moment.
"Get on the gangplank and have our men bring medicine to the shore to bandage them up." Mo Xibei didn't think much of it because she had already seen Chu Junfeng leap into the sea of fire and cleave open the bottom hatch.
Mo Xibei looked around and leaped up, tearing off the sail of the burning ship. He quickly pressed the unburnt part into the water, then took a breath and lifted it up. The sail, carrying a large amount of water, rose into the air and poured down around Chu Junfeng, clearing a path for him.
Seeing that the method was feasible, Mo Xibei no longer hesitated and quickly waved the sails. The second and third times, more and more water poured down with her movements, and the fire on the big ship was gradually brought under control. The people in the hold escaped.
"Thank you for your help, Brother Mo," Chu Junfeng said to Mo Xibei after the two of them reached the shore.
"I'm not helping you, you don't need to thank me." Mo Xibei shook her head, her gaze sweeping across the shore before she realized that Murong Lianyun and her servant were still on the boat. An ominous feeling welled up in her heart, and she suddenly leaped up. Before she could even land on her own boat, a burst of red light exploded before her eyes.
"Northwest!" Someone pressed her down onto the deck from behind. Her boat was large, and the first explosion occurred at the bottom.
"Let go!" She pushed the person on top of her away as if she had been electrocuted, and continued running into the cabin. Her face was hot, and so was her heart.
"Are you out of your mind?" Chu Junfeng also saw the red light just now. He struggled to pull Mo Xibei back. The second red light had already appeared, and it was too dangerous in the cabin.
"There are people inside." Mo Xibei suddenly flung his hand and rushed inside. One, two, two figures were thrown towards him. Chu Junfeng only had time to reach out and catch them. Mo Xibei used a lot of force, and Chu Junfeng was injured. When he caught them, he was pushed far away by the force transmitted from Mo Xibei. Then, before he could have any other reaction, the huge blast of air had already pushed him away.
Mo Xibei's ship was blown in two in the middle.
"Northwest!" Chu Junfeng shouted. In an instant, his heart felt as if it had been ripped out, a dull pain mixed with a slight chill that permeated his heart.
"Miss!" the two people holding her cried out, their voices trembling with sobs.
However, their shouts became insignificant when mixed with the continuous explosions.
The people on the shore were terrified. They stared at the water until the explosion subsided and Mo Xibei's boat scattered in all directions.
Chu Junfeng stood blankly in the shallow water, forgetting that he was carrying two women, and forgetting that the wound on his back had reopened and was bleeding because of the weight. He only remembered the fluttering of Mo Xibei's clothes when he waved the sails, and he only remembered the clear and pure look in Mo Xibei's eyes when he shook off his hand just before the ship was about to explode.
In this cold-blooded world of strife, intrigue, and killing, there are still people who, in times of crisis, disregard their own safety to rescue a life they have no connection with.
"There really is such a person in this world," Chu Junfeng thought. "There really is such a person, someone I actually met, and someone who, before I even had a chance to get to know them well, vanished like the wind before my eyes."
A feeling of regret welled up inside me for the first time. I should have stopped him, instead of feeling this regret now.
Volume One: Ten Years of Wandering the Martial World, Chapter Fifteen
After a long while, Honglu suddenly jumped up, pointed at the water in the distance, her fingers trembling, and she couldn't make a sound.
Chu Junfeng then let go, and someone rushed over to take the two women from his arms.
On the water, a figure swam quickly over. Chu Junfeng could see it clearly; it was none other than Mo Xibei.
Mo Xibei was in a state of disarray he had never seen before. Her clothes were soaked and clung to her body, and her hair was disheveled and plastered to her face. She was carrying a stunningly beautiful girl who was unconscious, wading through the water. However, when she stood in front of Chu Junfeng, it was as if they had not just experienced a life-or-death separation, but had simply met again after a short breakup. She seemed somewhat happy, but still smiled nonchalantly and said, "What, did you not expect me to be such a good swimmer, or did you not expect someone like me to go and save someone?"
"I didn't expect you to be such a good swimmer." Chu Junfeng smiled, suppressing his strong urge to hug Mo Xibei.
"Really?" Mo Xibei smiled happily until the person on his shoulder woke up, then said, "Actually, I never thought that someone like me would have someone I want to protect."
"Now, you'd better tell me what exactly happened." Once everything had calmed down and they were away from everyone else, Mo Xibei, wearing Chu Junfeng's coat, sat by the fire, looking at Murong Lianyun, who was trembling like an autumn leaf. "What exactly did you do? Why did someone want to kill you?"
“Our young lady is very scared right now. You can’t ask her anything later.” Lian Yun’s maid Rongrong was a little dissatisfied, but she didn’t say it with much confidence, after all, the other party had just risked their lives to save the young lady and herself.
"Then can I modify my ship so that it explodes in ten or twenty years?" Mo Xibei sneered.
