"Don't make any big moves within three days. Go now." After saying this, he turned and went to wash his hands.
"The Taoist priest is indeed a master! Thank you so much!" The group helped the injured man up and left, expressing their gratitude profusely.
Then a voice came from outside the door: "Since we can't get any information out of her, let's find a way to cripple that girl Tang Yu and avenge our boss."
"Tang Yu!" Song Hao exclaimed in surprise. He hurriedly chased after them and saw them get into a car and head north.
"This person was injured by Tang Yu from Tangjiazhuang. How did these people get involved with her?" Song Hao was puzzled. Seeing a patient he had just treated about to leave on a motorcycle, he quickly stepped forward and said, "Brother, could you do me a favor?"
Upon seeing that it was a Taoist priest who had treated him, the man smiled and said, "Young master, please speak freely."
Song Hao said, "Could you give me a ride on your motorcycle to catch up with that car that just left? I need to talk to them about something."
“No problem, come on up!” the man nodded.
"Thank you!" Before Song Hao could even say goodbye to Wu Guo, he took off his conspicuous Taoist robe, got on the motorcycle, and sped away.
Tang Yu had already deeply gratefully released Song Hao in Tangjiazhuang and given him money. Upon hearing that Tang Yu might be in danger, Song Hao, in his haste, didn't think twice and chased after those people, hoping to see Tang Yu.
"Why did this nameless junior brother go after those people?" Wu Jing, who was in the courtyard, shook his head in confusion when he saw Song Hao suddenly leave for no apparent reason.
Wuguo, who had just come out of the house, glanced in the direction Song Hao had gone and frowned, saying, "Those people are no good; he's probably going to cause trouble."
"Are you referring to Junior Brother Wuming?" Wujing asked.
“He’s not some nameless junior brother. This person is an outsider named Song Xin who is staying at the temple and borrowing scriptures from the library. Master told me to bring him to the medical clinic to test his skills, and he is indeed a master of medicine! Why did he go after those people? They don’t seem to know them.” Wu Guo shook his head, looking bewildered.
Shangqing Temple.
"The Nine Needles of Resurrection!" Xiao Boran exclaimed in surprise after hearing the fruitless report, "Could it really be the legendary 'Nine Needles of Resurrection' that can bring people back from the dead! This miraculous acupuncture technique actually has a successor! Who is this Song Xin, that he has such cultivation!"
"Also, who is the person whose hands and feet were dislocated? Why did Song Xin chase after them?" Xiao Boran asked again.
"This disciple does not know, but I have already sent my two senior brothers, Wufa and Wutian, to search for him and to protect Song Xin's safety," Wuguo said.
Xiao Boran nodded and said, "You did the right thing. You must protect Song Xin's safety. This person must be someone of great importance. Go and have someone fetch Luo Beichen. The person he sent couldn't possibly not know the other party's true identity, or why Luo Beichen concealed it from me from the beginning."
“But Luo Beichen selected outstanding disciples from his clan to come to the temple to learn from his master,” Wuguo said.
“No!” Xiao Boran shook his head and said, “Luo Beichen has left the Demon Needle Sect and lives in seclusion. He has not had any contact with Luo Beiming for many years. Besides, he has no need to play such a trick as sending his clan’s disciples to learn skills. If there were any outstanding ones in his clan, he would have recommended them long ago. This Song Xin probably appeared out of nowhere.”
"This disciple will go and summon Luo Beichen immediately, so that Master can ask him for clarification." After saying this, Wuguo bowed and left.
"You, Song Xin! You actually possess extraordinary skills! Are you really the disciple I've been searching for?" Xiao Boran muttered to himself.
Song Hao followed the car on his motorcycle to a town. Seeing the car stop in front of a hotel, Song Hao thanked the motorcyclist, got off, and went to find his way. He watched as the group entered the hotel, then went to a restaurant across the street, ordered food, and ate while observing their movements. It was already dark, and the shops along the street had lit up.
"Who are they, and why are they picking on Miss Tang?" Song Hao wondered to himself. After finishing his food, he ordered a pot of tea and began planning his next move.
Just then, a familiar figure walked past the restaurant window.
"Miss Tang!" Song Hao recognized her at a glance as Tang Yu from Tang Family Village. Overjoyed, he quickly paid the bill and chased after her.
Song Hao, who had just stepped out of the restaurant, stopped abruptly because he saw the same group of people coming out of the hotel across the street and following Tang Yu. After hesitating for a moment, Song Hao followed them as well.
Tang Yu walked for a while, then turned and entered an alley. Song Hao quickly followed the group. It was dimly lit inside, without streetlights. The group hesitated for a moment before following them in, drawing knives and axes from their waists, clearly prepared.
At this moment, Tang Yu, who was walking in front, stopped, turned around, and said coldly, "You're courting death! Haven't you been taught a lesson enough by me?" It was clear that she had already noticed the group of people.
Although those people were armed, they were terrified by Tang Yu's attack, and despite their numbers, they dared not advance for a moment.
Just as Song Hao was about to run over and stand with Tang Yu, two strong figures suddenly blocked his way. They were two Taoist priests dressed in Taoist robes. Song Hao recognized them; they were the two unruly men from Shangqing Temple.
"Junior Brother Wuguo asked us to protect you," Wutian said calmly.
"Thank you!" Song Hao was overjoyed to hear this. He knew that with these two Taoists here, they could easily handle even dozens more people. He had witnessed their skills firsthand.
Three more people appeared in the arena, leaving the others and Tang Yu confused, unsure whether they were friends or foes, and for a moment they dared not make any rash moves.
“The young lady in front is my friend. Please trouble the two Taoist priests to take care of the others,” Song Hao said.
“Alright, please leave with your friend first,” Wutian replied.
"It's me, Miss Tang!" Song Hao ran over.
"You..." Tang Yu recognized the person who ran up to her as Song Hao, and was overjoyed.
"Come with me," Song Hao said, pulling Tang Yu forward.
The group of people stood there stunned, not daring to give chase, clearly having seen two fierce Taoist priests closing in on them.
Song Hao pulled Tang Yu and ran for a while until they stopped in a secluded spot.
"No need to run, I can handle those people," Tang Yu said with a smile, looking at the panting Song Hao. Inwardly, however, she was filled with joy.
“I know you can fight, but those people are armed, so don’t go and get hurt,” Song Hao said.
"Thank you for your concern." Tang Yu said with a smile.
"Miss Tang, how did you get here? And who are those people who are targeting you?" Song Hao asked.
“They are scum of the Wind and Fire Gang. I… I came out to find you, because I was worried about your safety,” Tang Yu said, bowing her head.
"Oh! Thank you!" Song Hao was extremely grateful.
"What are you doing here?" Tang Yu asked.
"It's a long story. Let's leave this place first, and then I'll tell you in detail," Song Hao said.
